Ladies! How Many Of You Got Breakfast In Bed From Your Partners?

...and men, did you bring breakfast in bed to your lady this morning? My husband made the most wonderful scrambled eggs with Danish esrom cheese. They were the best scrambled eggs I have ever had. Then he made me a perfect cup of coffee, in my favourite red, white and gold coffee cup. YUMMY! Any other ladies on here get breakfast in bed in the mornings? What do your guys make for you?

Hmmmm hubby does bring me breakfast in bed sometimes. Specially when he wakes up earlier than me. We are European, so continental breakfast rather than scrambled eggs and such for us. Often orange juice - squeezed right at that time , yummy - toast or english muffin, cheese, apple or banana, something along those lines :)

Never! You sound like a very lucky lady indeed! I have never actually asked him too but I think it's the kind of thing that's not really the same if you ask them to do something nice. Maybe one day I will be just as lucky, hopefully..

I don't eat breakfast so Breakfast in bed would be lost on me. I rather he stayed in bed with me and in the afternoon we go out for a brunch.I am not surprised hubby gave you brealfast in bed. You two are one of he happiest couples I know.

Hi danish...I have never gotten breakfast in bed from my husband. I'm not sure I'd want to though. He's good for grilling but not much more in the kitchen - he's more the super fix-it and I love him for what he is. I know that some people eat different things for breakfast but I'll stick to the breakfasts I make and not hamburgers and hot dogs! I think it's awesome that your husband made eggs for you - I hope you get such a delicious surprise again!

I do get it once in awhile but I do not prefer to eat in bed though, neither does my partner, we like to eat while we are up and awake. That is so nice that you are pampered like that.

Not me, because I live on my own. I really prefer not to eat in bed too. I like to get up and sit in the dining room to eat my breakfast, if I'm lucky, when the sun comes up but that's far too early at the moment. My dining room faces the east and my living room and bedroom, the west, so I can watch both sunrise and sunset from the comfort of my own home. You can't beat that by having breakfast in bed. lol. It was really great of your hubby to make yours though. I hope you enjoyed it! Brightest Blessings.

Lucky you...You have a sweet loving husband.. Breakfast in bed here is not practiced or done most of the time. I have never had one..We mostly get up from bed wash our face and gargle first before we eat anything..So breakfast is mostly taken in the dining area.

Wow. It sounds to me like you have a really great partner. My husband or anyone else has never done anything like that for me. I have done it for him though. He is just not into that kind of stuff like I am. I would love to be treated like a queen for a day.

no. You are so lucky. Hubby will bring me a plate if I'm not feeling well. There are times when my back is out and he will bring me dinner to the room and come and get my plate when I'm done, and make sure that I have plenty to drink all day. But it's rarely breakfast. Hat's off to your hubby!

Thanks for giving us guys a chance to shine. I made my wife an egg and turkey bacon sandwich on a whole wheat muffin, I sprinkled a little fat free cheese on it and capped it off with some skim milk. Chef Jeff was up early and wanted to take care of his lady.

That is great about your husband. Yes, I got many times. I have been married only for 4 months and my husband got me breakfast in bed many times ( 5- 10 ). It is very nice about him. I will be lazy to get up and cook on weekends, so he did that for me many times. He makes toast, scrambled egg, coffee etc. Thanks for starting this discussion, it made me think about those nice days. Yesterday my husband had gone abroad as a part of his work and I really miss him a lot.

I dont think that most guys don't want to bring breakfast to bed for their lady, it is more a practical thing. I myself just hate crumbles in the bed. You don't have space for the orange juice and you can't enjoy the sun in your face if you're in bed. Why is breakfast in bed so romantic and why can't woman accept a nice breakfast in the balcony, the garden or whatever place it is as long as it doesn't leave crumbles in the bed ;) Greets to all, Alex

wow...you are so so lucky danish for being the 'queen' of the day. So romantic of you both. I have never experienced this sort of quality breakfast being served to me by my husband. Poor me. I think I need someone like that to do that to me. It is nice to be pampered sometimes. LOL

I must admit, I am pretty jealous! I got home from work this morning and crawled into bed next to my husband. I felt like the luckiest woman in the world because he pulled me closer because I was cold. He did his best to not wake me up when he had to get out of bed. (It worked until one of the stupid girls that works for him called when he wasnt the one on duty! ) Maybe I can convince him to do something like this for our anniversary! I make dinner, so he can make breakfast...
