When my ex and I were still together we used to play poker with his family. It was normally a $5 buy-in and the winner took all but $10 and the player coming in 2nd got the $10. It was always a lot of fun. Tonight my ex hosted a Texas Holdem tournament and his uncle asked me if I wanted to play. I hadn't played in years so I welcomed the invite. I played 3 games and I lost all 3 times but I did come in 3rd place in 2 of the games, so I came close to winning something. It was so much fun and I really miss getting to do this. I hope I get to do it again sometime soon. Do you like playing Texas Holdem Poker?

Heyya singlemommy! I love Texas Holdem! I play on fulltilt and pokerstars alot. I also play live games. Mostly tournaments. My b/f turned me onto it and I've loved playing ever since. I have played 5 card and blackjack before but I like the texas holdem better.

I have a question. Is there any other poker available aside from the Texas Holdem Poker? I am playing poker but online. There is this application in Facebook and I found it interesting. But really, I really have no much knowledge about this game.

Yes, I love it! I learned last year and have been hooked ever since. We host a poker night at my house every couple of months. It's $20 to play. The second place winner gets their money back and first place gets the rest. I usually finish in second or first place when we play. I have also started playing online at PokerStars. It's a lot of fun but I definitely spend too much time on there!

Yes, I do. Texas Hold'em is my favourite poker game, I play it with my hubby's friend once in a while, we just had a tournament and cash game last Friday actually :-p and we go down to the casino to play at the poker room once in a while too. I think it is a very interesting game and I always have lots of fun playing it, of course winning the game makes me feel even happier!!! :-D

Texas Holdem is my favorite poker game! I play a lot when I go to Mexico with my family. I can't quite get into the casinos, but soon! I also play on a free site called NoPayPoker. It's quite fun if you want a good game of Holdem online, and you don't have to be 21 or older to join,. It's free and legal in the US.

Yeah I like. It's fun to play Texas hold'em if you have enough time.If you don't have enough time you need to gamble your chips and you will lose often.I like also 5-card draw and omaha.

Hi there, I had seen people playing such cards game before when visiting the casino together with my hubby. It seemed interesting to see people playing the game there. Yeah, guests could bet either on winner or player. I saw many really were good in luck and had made lots of money whereas some had lost all their money bet. I dared not bet, I scared that I might lose my money. I prefer to enjoy watching people playing. My husband and his friends prefer to play roulette when visiting the casino. They have great interest in playing the games with 36 numbers plus the zero Happy posting

I love playing texas holdem poker. It's a lot of fun. When I was in college we use to play all the time. Now that everyone has moved away I haven't played in a long time. I use to win frequently...But yeah I need to find a group near me that we can play at least once a week or every other week.

No, I don't enjoy playing poker. I tried to learn it, but there's seems there's a lot of rules and so many types of hands you can have. I just can't remember and gave up. lol

I really enjoy playing Hold'em. I usually play a game with $10 buy-in. Third place usually gets their money back, and first and second place usually get about a 70-30 split of the remaining pot.

Sorry, I don't know about the texas holdem poker. While the poker game is very common and popular in China. There are many rules for the game playing , and interestingly, every province has its own rule for the same game. My colleagues are from 5 different provinces , so every time when we sit together for a game, we have to quarrel for many times just for to follow whose rule, noisy but interesting.

I love playing poker..and we used to play it regularly when we had a game night..but that quit a few years ago when kids started popping out and the games got farther and farther in between plays and dwindled down to a stop. I love playing it still and wish I could get my hubby to play it with me but he says it is no fun just playing me..I guess I am no challenge..

I have never played the actual game with cards and other people that I know of. I have played it in Pogo before though and it is fun. You can play it right online. I have not played in a long time though.

That game was very popular two years ago when I lived in a state in the southwest--students would skip classes in order to hide out and play it! I'm not sure of the rules, I know how to play poker but only 5 card draw. Sounds like fun, though. Keep playing and get your skills back and maybe next time you'll win! Glad you had a good time.
