HI RONNYB. I don't know that u would call what i liked to do games but i loved making mud pies, roller skating on the sidewalk. making clover chains & letting cars run through them, chasing lightening bugs at night, reading, playing hise & seek etc. I was an active child to still try to be active.

lol you are a riot Antique but you can never tell ,a fine lady like you may just nab a good looking man but then you would want to settle down again and that would make you less active so i guess its best you remain wild and free lol

I lived on a cul-de-sac when I was a kid, and all the neighborhood kids came to my house to play Kick The Can. It was so much fun! Most of us just hung out in our neighbor's back yard instead of actually going for the can, but it was great hanging out with all my friends. If no one had a can, we would play kickball. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Did you ever play "chalk the corner"? This was a favorite game we played in the evening after supper. We would choose up sides, one team would take a piece of chalk and they would start off in one direction, they would mark an arrow at the corner where they turned and continue this for a half hour or so. It was up to the other team to find them using the arrows that they marked, sometimes on telephone poles. There weren't near as many cars during my childhood so skating on the street and sidewalks was popular, until the steel wheels on the skate wore out.

My favorite outdoor game was playing softball or baseball with the boys in the neighborhood. We had more boys than girls and I didn't like to play with dolls. Inside the house on a weekend when we could stay up late, we played a lot of Monopoly. Many nights my cousins and I were up almost all night playing. We would pop popcorn and drink soda. Those were the gold, old days.

I think mine would be hide and seek, we played that game all the time, of course I didn't like being the one who had to seek, I'd rather hide..haha.

Yes I played that too and it was quite enjoyable ,the only thing is that there was always one person who would go too far and it would kill the vibes if we were not able to find them..Thank you for your response

When I was a little kid we would play Mother My I in my aunt's kitchen because it was a long room. We also played paper dolls and princess, and cars with the boys. When we played princess no one wanted to be the princess because all she did was sit while her ladies in waiting waited on her. We made dirt roads with tin can by rubbing the ground smooth and then spitting on the smoothed road to make it black. Playing cars was the most fun because it was a boys game. we also played jacks. I was pretty good.

As a kid, I always wished I was born a boy. I did enjoy playing house, but would make sure I kept my hair up and was always the dad or the son....hehehe....it was fun. I didn't have to do the cleaning or cooking or washing up...my sis always did it. As I grew a little, hide and seek was my favourite.

My favorite game or passtime was probably playing ball with the neighborhood gang. If someone had a bat and someone had a ball we would get a game going. The cover would eventually come off of the ball and we would wrap tape (tarred rag) around it to keep the string from unwinding. It didn't seem to matter to us what the temperature was and the fact that none of us had ball gloves, we loved to play ball. Marbles was a lot of fun too. We would play "snake" and "lag" sometimes all the way walking to school. You always had your favorite taw(?) and tried to get by with paying the winner with "ch1nks" (clay marbles) I guess those were the "good ole days", now kids stay inside and get fat watching TV or playing computer games. There wasn't a fat boy in our gang.

My sisters and i played house and barbies and stuff like that alot. We played the nintendo a bit - we didnt have one til i was about 11 and it was mom's so we were allowed to use it an hour a week or so and if we fought over it we didnt get it. I loved doing things outside my favourite thing to do and still my favourite was to go horseback riding i could spend hours outside with my pony or my horse. Now though i find its hard to have time to do the housework/yard work and get to spend as much time as i want to with my horses.

The other thing we used to love to do was in the winter go down in the yard to the bales and run over them and jump from bale to bale or play hide n seek on them or even sardines on them (if we had enough people) Sardines of course was were one person hid and everyone else searched but when you found the hider you just hid with them til everyone was crammed into the hiding spot. Last person to find everyone was the hider next (of course he or she had a head start because everyone else had to get out of the hiding spot while she/he ran and hid)

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji, Oh ! it is very difficult for me to name those childhood games here at this International community. Still I would dare, if you could understand them :- 1. EKAL-DUKAL 2. KITE FLYING 3. LAPPO-DANDA 4. WRESTLING 5. HIDING 6. SEARCHING ITEMS HIDDEN BY OPPOSITE PARTY. All above games cost was Nil and absorved more physical strength to keep oneself fit. May god bless You and have a great time.
