Now there's a challenge! And without phone a friend, ask the audience either, ok, here goes, of the top of my head and I'll try in chronological order William Hartnell Patrick Troughton John Pertwee Tom Baker Peter Davison Colin Baker Patrick McCoy Paul McGan Christopher Eccleston David Tenant I swear on my mums life I did NOT look up any of the names, I think Patrick McCoy is wrong but I can't remember the correct name for him Ok how did I do my friend?

Short answer is no. I know some though: John Pertwee David Tennant Christopher Eccleston Tom Baker Sylvester McCoy (although he was rubbish) Peter Davidson Colin Baker William Hartnell That's all me and Teenpanda can get between us, I think we've done quite well. :)

Hmm probably not let me think William Hartnell, Colin Baker, Tom Baker, Patrick Troughton, Sylvester McCoy, David Tennant, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston and Jon Pertwee and Matt Smith is going to play the next one (I saw that on a programme not long ago)

I usually forget at least one but that one is Paul McGann and he was only in one episode because it linked from a film so he was only reincarnated into whomever was next. If you count all the films there is at least one other actor because I think a "series" doctor played the doctor in one film. Anyway, here's the ones I remember without looking (not in order!): Patrick Troughton John Pertwee Tom Baker Colin Baker Sylvester McCoy David Tennant Christopher Eccleston Paul McGann I can't remember the others but Peter Cushing played Dr Who in a film.

The list has been covered by this stage,I see,so I won't go through them all again..but I could have named all the "Doctors" I'd enjoyed watching while growing up,(and especially Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker),but I kinda lost interest in the series after Peter Davidson got the role and ever since,until Chris Eccleston stepped in! I take it you're looking for the TV series Doctors only,you're not counting Peter Cushing? maybe a bit OT,but I liked that they got Bernard Cribbins a part in the new series as a relative of Rose,after he played alongside Cushing's Doctor!
