Yes, Khuay has been at it again. My cats believe that spiders are natures answer to caviar. I haven't seen too many spiders around the house since Willy and Khuay arrived. The other night I got home from school and headed for the first place I always go after an hour ride on bumpy country roads...the toilet. While I was sitting there, Khuay jumped up on the tank. He spotted a Daddy Longlegs on the wall and stretched up to get his snack. While he was stretching, I finished my business and flushed the toilet, just as Khuay was moving his hind legs so he could reach his prey. Well he stepped a little too close to the edge of the tank and went sailing down into "the swirling waters" of the toilet. He was still stretched full length reaching for the spider, only now he had a quizzical look on his face as if to say "How come my feet feel wet? I'm on the tank reaching for the spider". He looked down and saw that his feet were in the toilet, and he jumped out of the toilet and was out on the patio at warp speed! I almost peed myself over this "slip". I don't know how I lucked out to get a crazy cat like Khuay, but I thank God every day for a cat that can do things to make me laugh and keep the depression away!

Well my kitten Tornado is up to no good also. My small bamboo shrub is now in tatters because he keeps shredding the small spokes. Yesterday I trimmed the shrub so that it won't die, but the stalks that I cut became his playground! It took me an hour before I could sweep the whole lot and place it in a garbage bag!

Sure will give him a hug when he dries off his fur! Its raining here in the Philippines and God knows where he has gone off to because he came home a sorry mess with his claws all muddy! So, it was a cat and human chase in my driveway trying to catch him so that I could give him a bath. He thinks its a game and by the time I caught him, I was sweating like a beast! I can see him right now as I am typing this, he is licking his fur. =) Cats can pretend to look like angels, but we know otherwise!

lol Whenever I go out to get some fresh grass for the rabbit, Tigger and Simba are just waiting to get their fair share. No matter how far into the cage I put it, those 2 manage to reach their paws in to get some as well.

I don't even try to keep house plants because of the cats. Ding Ding (my Maine C00N cat) will even chew on fake plants! Khuay also has a thing for paper and card board. Just after he learned how to jump on the kitchen counter I got up one morning to a serious snow fall in the kitchen. He found the roll of paper towels and shredded them! I keep swearing that he originally was a member of the CIA and is looking for microfilm and hidden microphones. I was on line one day and Khuay was racing down the hall way with a pair of my shorts in his mouth. No telling where he was going or what he was going to do with them, but I was laughing my A$$ off when I saw him racing by. When Tornado slows down a little, give him a hug from me and the herd (four cats and four dogs).

OMG! I was laughing so hard as I was reading that I almost hurt myself! ROFL!!! Khuay and my Whiskers sound exactly alike. Whiskers will actually run up the security screen door and sit on top of the other door trying to reach whatever bug happens to be there, and when he slips he gets that look like "who the heck just pushed me?" It's absolutely hilarious! Thanks for the giggles hon.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! ROFLMAO Poor Khuay! All he wanted was his snack and look what happened. It's amazing what cats will do to get a bug on a wall or anywhere. we don't really have a spider problem till the cold weather hits and we start bringing in the firewood. That's when the cats start going nuts. Seems the spiders find the wood a great place to hibernate in and once they get warm, they come out of hiding to be kitty food. I bet your cats really get your gut hurting when they find a moth or fly to catch. lol This is one of the many ways Tigger displays his jumping/bouncing capabilities. 8' ceilings and he can catch a fly on it. I tried getting a video of him doing this once and finally gave up. He was just too dang fast for the video on my digital camera. Just came out as orange globs. lol

Cats ARE amazing how they can dispel any gloom and depression we might be feeling and it's great you have such a comical kitty in Khuay. Now that it's cooling down a bit more here, my Pyewacket and Kissy are back to snuggling up against me while I sleep...I just hope I don't annoy them if I make a sonic boom of a fart..LOL

Aw, bless him!Cats are so funny.Mine does things like that then gets up and stalks off , tail in the air....'I MEAN'T to fall off!' A cat must keep her dignity! Mine likes a good insect snack too....sometimes she'll just follow a bug around the floor and pat it with her paw, but if its a fly flying about her head she will go completely nuts and throw herself atthe walls to get it - I have seen her do complete somersaults in the air trying to catch a fly!

Young cats are so funny. They are always getting into things. They make me laugh. MY kitty doesn't do too many funny things any more. He mostly hangs around and waits to get petted or to get snacks. I miss having a funny kitty around.

When my cat, Baby, was a kitten, she jumped up on the toilet just as I flushed, and the lid wasn't yet closed. It was all so fast! All I could see was her little head! I grabbed her head and yanked her right out of there! I don't know how I managed to act fast enough to get her before it was too late. She was small enough to have gone on through. From then on, I made sure the lid was closed BEFORE I flushed.

OMG!!! Talk about having your heart up in your mouth!!! Thank God that you were so fast... It never ceases to amaze me the kind of trouble that our cats can get into! Hopefully Baby has lost interest in the toilet! I tried keeping the lid closed on the toilet, but I get in a hurry and race for the bathroom, drop my pants, sit and end up peeing all over everything. After having to do some serious pee cleanup, I figured it would be better to leave the lid up.

OMG Loverbear..I'm gonna end up in the ER if you don't stop busting my gut here. roflmaoooooooooooooooooooo To be honest thou, I have done that but only when I'm asleep and end up sleep-walking to the bathroom to go pee. lol We always make sure the lid is down cause I don't want my animals drinking out of the toliet. Besides, I was brought up to always close the lid on the toliet and flush. Annie..Sure glad you have lightning-speed reflexes or poor Baby would of gone to kitty heaven. Glad you didn't end up breaking her neck either, grabbing her like you did but you didn't have a choice.

Seriously? You don't look before you sit? OMG, I'm laughing so hard. I ALWAYS look before I sit because my Grandma told me when I was a little girl that there could be a sewer rat in the toilet . . . and I've seen TV reports of snakes in toilets . . . so I never fail to look. I look to be sure the lid is up, too. ;-)

my cat gumby likes to play with spiders too. sometimes i see him watching something on the floor and start chasing after it and playing with it as if it is a toy. since i adopted him, i am keeping him indoor to make him an indoor cat, and spiders seem to be his new indoor prey that he can go hunting for. but, before i had adopted him, i had mice making weird noises every night in the utility attic, driving me crazy. as soon as gumby came into my home, he became inspector gumby, private eye, and went snooping in my townhouse, searching for something in every room, closet and cupboard. he is nosy. but when night i noticed that they wasnt any noises coming from the utility attic. the mice had disappeared. gumby scared them off.

My cat loooooooves boxes and being able to stick jumps from high places into piles of something soft. The other day he got into an empty 12 pk box from soft drinks and managed to poke his head through the "handle hole".. and ran all over running into furniture and such to get it off. My cat also likes to open the fridge and sneak inside, lying on the glass bottom to cool off. If we have boxes of packing materials around the table area, he'll do a running dive off of the table into the box.. hoping it'll soften the fall heheh.. I love mah kitty!
