Do you have trouble coming up with one and perhaps just force yourself to just make one about any silly thing? or are you like me!!? I have trouble NOT coming up with them. in fact several times a day I think "oooh, that would make a good discussion and im really interested in what people have to say about it" no lie. last week I bit off more then i could chew, you might say, as i done to many questions/discussions and am still trying to catch up with responses. dont worry friends, it may take me a while but I WILL get to them. I just had to ask this. because i wonder often if some dont just say "hey, i think i'll ask what color they like" i dont know. just saying, How do you come up with them, or have you just given up and answer/respond.?

Hello my friend I must be further behind than I thought, this is the only discussion I had from you in a while I respond more than anything, but when something comes to mind I start the discussion, I thought of something today and have not started a discussion yet, then after a while I forget what I was going to say , I like responding more than anything. Thank you, I am behind as well, have not been here as often as I would like, if I missed something I will catch it today hopefully.

I read articles online. I read oher conversattions here. I read books at the library. I like to know what people think about things. I learn a lot when I post questions. Its cool. I think that anticipation helps me think of more conversations.

Sometimes I happen to come up with an interesting discussion while thinking about things, and sometimes something happens to me and I write a discussion about that. When I'm going about my life I come up with some discussions that I want to post to see other peoples opinions. I rarely start discussions. It's just some days I have a streak and start multiple discussions at once.

well, i try to think a bit and then start a discussion, i am not into much discussions i only try to post to more and more discussions. i am not much into discussions. i think you should only start a discussion when you have a really good topic, unless you should not star a topic.

I have lots of trouble coming up with discussions. Who wants to know about my day? the chores I did, what I did in the garden, what I ate. Who wants to know that I went to the post office or that my friend visited. Who wants to know everything my animals do...what the dog sicked up, what the cat brought home and how the goats played. Who wants top know that I drove a client to the shops or picked another up from the hospital...that the weather was simply beautiful or windy and miserable? My life is my own and really has no meaning to anyone else and I'm sure the majority of people would not be interested....sometimes, I'm not even interested in my life. There are some gifted people here who have a way of turning mundane events into discussable delights but they are few and far between. There are those who have a passionate or at least earnest interest in some things and who are able to voice their opinion convincingly and confidently. I'm not in the same league as these people so I don't even try.

I don't often start discussions. Oh, I know I have a LOT of them, but I've been here a long time and sometimes I can find a way to do one thing and turn it into more than one. I have a dream written down sitting on a chair but I haven't posted it yet

hibunnybon I can usually come up with a good subject as I often get ideas while responding and reading comments on my own discussions. like you Ihave sometimes done too many discussions and had a hard time'trying to get all the responses commented on. i have yet to 'resort to asking what is your favorite color or your favorite drink or something in that line.or the one that a zillion people have asked what is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

I think it's great when u can come up w/so many good ones like u do, Bon. Some of them that people usually make can be so silly. Those drive me nuts. I usually start mine over something that's going on in my life, good or bad.

there are days that I cant think of anything, but mostly I am the same way... I will be at the grocery store or driving in the car and the DJs will be talking and I will think, hey that is a great topic to discuss on mylot!! I guess that is when you know you are a mylot junky!! when you are away from here and still thinking about what to post here!! I have several discussions I need to get caught up on my own as well as my summer had me busier than I expected, but I figure a good couple weeks here with me back to my usual computer time and I will be caught up and coming up with some more great discussions!! Happy mylotting!

Hi bunnybon7! I have a hard time coming up with discussions. Sometimes i can think of a good one, it is usually when i am half asleep and i am not at my computer. I guess i am going to have to put a pen and paper by my bed so when these ideas pop in my head i can write them down and go from there. I like to respond to discussions as most of my ideas are long gone by the time i wake up, and silly me i have not wrote them down.

I usually come up with discussions when I am trying to get to sleep! I can be laying there, I have trouble sleeping as it is, because my brain won't shut down, I keep analyzing stuff and then these discussion ideas pop up! I know that if I don't write them down I won't sleep and in the morning I would have forgotten them. Most of my discussions are more psychological as I have an interest in pyschology and the ideas come from my daily life, like if I had a bad experience then I usually turn it into a discussion to help deal with it, if that makes sense. The discussions I start is like helping me get additional support and therapy and I am never disappointed. Sometimes though I am on a roll and can do discussion after discussion after discussion, other times I have mental blocks, but that may be a good sign!

i listen to talk radio a lot and usually get some great ideas on there. it just depends on how busy i am. my advice in order to think of discussions are to read current events and watch tv and watch people. this is what i do.

I come up with discussions about my life and it's happenings or if I have a question or two about something specific. I have a few in mind right now but I want to catch up first and I'm ALMOST done with responding to all I have in my inbox and once I'm done there, I have my own discussions to respond to so it may be a little while before I post any more. Look at the things you do during the day or night and you'll come up with some ideas that way. Just what ever pops in your head, take it and run with it! lol

I rarely start discussions because I can't think of what to present. I made one today because an issue upset me. My discussions are usually serious subjects that I want input on, to see others' perceptions in case there is a side to it that I haven't taken into account.

I do have trouble coming up with topics. I will be out running errands and think of a great one then forget it before I get home. I have such a problem with writing things down. I always think I will surely remember it and never do! Silly at my age you'd think I would know better. Gheez!

I came up with discussions whenever I want some response or feedback on a certain topics that interest me or anything I wanna share with people here on myLot and then find out what are their opinions. I would never post for the sake of posting just like what many mylotters would do, such as just simply start up a silly or meaningless topic and see if people will response to it.
