i have a walk-in closet that has alot of hiding places. I remember when I was young and had a step brother. We used to hunt for our gifts and check them out. Shame on us! It was ALL his fault ofcourse and I was just following his lead. I would never do such a thing! Not I!

When I was just 11, I sneaked & opened a gift under our tree, & I was so disappointed at what it was, I decided never to do it again. Also, I love to surprise people; that's half the fun of giving, to me. I also prefer to be surprised, too, even if it's a thing I really didn't need, want, or even like. I figure everyone deserves the chance to see me truly surprised, as it's probably half of their fun, too! It was hard to fake surprise when I (re)opened the package Christmas morning. Why was that particular gift so disappointing? Mom had noticed I was beginning to "sprout" itty boobies. It was a bra, & to me, it signaled the end of childhood, & I wasn't ready--plus I was a tom boy! Maggiepie END VIOLENCE ON EVERYONE...PERIOD!

sad thing is I always hid the gifts right under thier nose an they never figure it out yet I had a banana box that had quilt pieces in it one year an took some out an then got another box an put the gifts inbetween the 2 boxes then the quilt peices ontop an seeing I dont quilt to much around xmas they just thought the two boxes on the shelf were pieces an we also had a crawl space that had some huge boxes in it so I would put the gifts in there an the kids thought I was a scared of the crawel space cause I never climb up there an neither did they they needed a ladder to get to it an it was dark

I don't have any place to hide my gifts. We have Christmas tree at home I put all the gifts under it with card, i put their name on it and I advice them to do not check the gift until christmas came because it is a surprise. My house is too small and all the spaces are provided for furnitures and appliance, our cabinets are full too. The best way to do is when I already have a present for them I will put in under our tree and they have to wait for Christmas eve before checking on it.

I usually disguise them, & leave them where I can get to them & wrap them when it's time, as I have only one or two for whom I can afford gifts, & they're usually not bulky ones. Once, though, I wanted to give Elic a microwave, & I had to hide it at a friend's apartment. When the time came to drag it out to let Elic open it, the small son of the mother who had hidden it assumed it was for HIM, & dived onto it & started ripping the wrapping off! We adults had a good laugh, & Elic got her nuke! But the boy was very confused. After all, it was in his house, & anyway, weren't all gifts for him??? Maggiepie END VIOLENCE ON EVERYONE...PERIOD!

This year, being the first year that we are in our own house, there are three places that I have been hiding the Christmas gifts for our children. The first batch that I bought for them are hidden in the attic that is directly off of my son's closet. He found them one day and I ended up having to wedge the closet door shut so that he can't get to them. The second big batch that I bought are all in my mother's bedroom at her house because I know the kids can't search them out there since we are only there one or two times per week. Finally, the last batch that I bought last week are all in my bedroom hidden in my wardrobe.

I buy all year long, so I have to hide gifts!! We have a very tiny place - and there's literally no where where I can hide anything! So the only place I can hide Christmas gifts is on my side of the closet! Hubby is a "big boy", so he knows not to look in there - hee hee. My daughter doesn't open my side of the closet, so she doesn't even know I hide things in there. I do remember discovering presents in my parent's closet . . . and if my daughter is anything like me, I'll have to find a new place to hide things when the time comes - ha ha.

Hiya much2say, Right under their Nose lol. That is often the best place to hide them if you can. Places they would least suspect. Here is the magic of buying those so much wanted items and then hiding them away. Specially if you say you are not going to buy anything this Year that way the grade of expectancy about getting any presents comes right down.

I have a portion of the bedroom where I hide my husband's gifts. I wrap them, so even if he sees them there, he can't see what is in them unless he unwraps the,. LOL It's just Hubby and I in here, so we don't have a lot of gifts to hide.

We normally hide them on top of the wardrobes in our bedroom and cover them with a big sheet, it is hard where to hide them and also in an easy place to get them out on christmas eve. Espically if you are like us and have four children. This year will be a lot easier as no one believes in Santa so it does make the job easier as you don't really have to hide them so well.

Belief in Santa Claus isn't a prerequisite for gift-giving. I know Jewish friends who celebrate by putting up a tree for friends, having a party, & giving gifts! Just relax & enjoy the season. Peace! Maggiepie END VIOLENCE ON EVERYONE...PERIOD!

Hiya Anne, Well we donĀ“t believe in Santa Claus but I still like to think that someone like him does exist. Probably there are a "million Santa Claus" with kind hearts that do good things for other People apart from buying presents. Santa Claus I like to think that in a way the essence of all that should be celebrated because without him they are robbing us of something very precious. So for me he does exist but on another level you know sort of like in the Films but not so commercialised.

We rent a storage building and that is where we keep the Christmas gifts for my 4 year old grand daughter. We don't have anywhere here at the house to hide them. We can pick them up on Christma eve. Happy Mylotting

I used to hide or keep stuff or possible gifts for christmas in the office--inside my drawer. right now i don;t have enough but i am scheduling at least two days to shop gifts for my family and friends. There is several malls near our office so it's conducive for me to shop anytime and keep or hide it in the office.

I don't really hide them. I put the gifts where they are not in full view of the kids, but they both know better than to go snooping around in my stuff. I have not had a kid find a gift yet. I only have a few so far and they are just in the hall closet.

Hey there! I usually hide unwrapped Christmas gifts under my table or in my closet. Wrapped gifts, on the other hand, I don't hide. Instead, I put them under our Christmas tree

do you have a safe case? hah, it is really a big problem where to hide all the gifts. unless you have some private space in your home or somewhere. anythere that also depends on which kind of gifts do you have. good luck
