The blue rabbit has left me her leftover discussions.

That's right, she just hopped out of here and dumped the lot on me. Despite receiving in the region of 87 pm's from her today she didn't actually mention it until the last one. Normal creatures leave nice things like boxes of chocolates, or even in the case of rabbits, a few carrots. Not this one though, I get left with the leftovers of whatever witterings she has been posting. What do you suggest I do with them?

Isn't she a brat? If she would have just stayed out of politics....

Hi Zeph, she is indeed. She's blaming it on the wonders of seaweed but I know shes still got a cupboard full of potaotes. She says she'll be back for a bit on Thursday but I'm wondering if she'll be under a new guise.

I do not know thea09, but I have responded to this discussion because I would like to know, what is p.e.???? Did you get a decent answer about your oranges?

Ahhhhh PastorP, another what is 'pe' question. I take it you are American and thus probably not acquainted with the great English satirical magazine 'Private Eye' where can enjoy lambasting royals and politicians. Anyway this was set up with the rather inept title (blame the blue bunny) as pe instead of Private Eye, to keep the mass of screaming politicos away. Several good responses to oranges thanks.

Well, thea, you have to answer them all for her and pretend to be a little blue bunny for a while. Where the heck did she go anyway?

Hi sid, I have to say I'm a blue bunny as I'm no good at flitting avatars. She's off playing with seaweed for her studies, but has realised she won't be able to keep away so look out out for her doing the odd bit of stalking and a few hours when theres a full moon. There's a weekly visit promised for the nexdet month as she tapers away gradually. How could you possibly have missed the six discussions she put up about leaving, mine got deleted so you probably missed that one.

Only teasing Aunty as the rabbit well knows, naturally I am flattered to be the receipient of brocoli and marine life and will pay extra attention to any late responses to favourite fishes. I think she did run round and do a hurried clean up job before she left us apart from the worrying 37 discussions she started yesterday about sheep. I'll be looking foward to her calls.

Thea, short sarcastic comments will be accepted in the spirit they are given and will be returned in like manner. Holly, thanks and a happy new year to both of you. New Year is just another day for me. I see no difference between it and any other day, but I must admit I enjoyed the NYE fireworks this year, viewing them from my son's 24th storey penthouse directly overlooking the fireworks site. We were looking down on most fireworks with the high ones exploding at eye level - very different!

Good morning, Thea? Couldn't we barbecue them? It will make a nice change from people, and we ought to have a New Year detox. Hang on though - the broccoli might have some unwanted side effects!

Hello Sandra, you must be made of stern stuff after all that cava you were planning to imbibe last night. Barbecued discussions is an excellent option, maybe we could combine barbecuing the people who still respond to her with the discussions. Would you like to volunteer with the broccoli one?

Yes - barbecued people with the discussions, with a broccoli side dish and anti flatulence pills for dessert. Now, where did I put my machete...?

ahem. to clear up all the libel being spread about me i shall state the following. the poster knew full well when i was leaving on new years eve all i said was she could babysit my discussions if she so wished. no request in there at all i am not actually a rabbit or blue and this may gravely disappoint some but i will be returning at weekly intervaly this month to irritate people

Hi thea, it appears you have already chosen what to do..Start your own discussion about witterings left behind by rabbits. It would have been nice for you to have some chocolate to nibble on while you ponder your dilemma..

Hi jewels, I don't think that when I'm posing as a blue bunny that I'm meant to nibble down on anything apart from carrots. I thought if I started this then people may stop responding to her leftovers so I'd have less to deal with, as of course she managed to hop off without leaving me her alerts.

LOL..Maybe the bunny has left some carrots srategically placed somewhere and you will run across them before you are too fatigued to continue on. I understand your reasoning thea and my new years wish for you is many sheep that will follow.

now why would a friend do that to ya? maybe she's not such a good friend? I hope you can earn a lot by taking over these things - unless you would do what I would and walk away... I know, but I barely have time do deal with my discussions and the ones my friends start - and any in a particular one of my favorite interests - cats and crafts...

Hi Elic, I post in jest, of course the bunny is a good friend and she did clean most of it up before she left. We have been known to take over from each other from time to time, I once once overhwhelmed with far too many responses about cute rabbits by the ones who misunderstood it was more of bunny in the pan discussion, and poor Judith got stuck with way too much brocoli to ever handle. Anyway most of hers are in pe which is my favourite interest on here.

pe as in Private Eye, satire and fun, great English satirical magazine, anyone coming in being serious will be yawned at. The rabbit is tapering down gently, one day a week for this month, she'll be hopping by on Thursday but is probably having a background stalk somewhere. Whether she returns as the blue bunny or not the rest of you won't know.

You could make a quilt, or perhaps a really long scarf with a matching hat...Or you could start a discussion asking everyone what they think you should to with them...Wait a minute...You’ve done that...Uhmmm...Are they lemons, could you make lemonade? I would roll up my sleeves and make as start, I suppose...Naughty bunny, when is she coming back, I wonder...

Hi Paula, well bunny will be hopping in for a bit on Thursday, and it was oranges not lemons but now I have mandaranis, but not a surplus as my son will eat and eat them, very healthy though.

Hi Hatley, I'm liking your ideas and what a wonderful combination of discussions you have created there my dear. It always makes me laugh when you come out with expressions like that 'right in the kisser' Happy new year to you Hatley, and to your son as well (And to roomie of course).
