Do you surf the internet for hours?

I surf the internet for hours during my holidays as I don't find any other work as much as interesting as it is. Not only during my holidays, I also surf the internet during my working days, let the reason be anything such as project work or simply for fun. But I surf the internet. Actaully I don't sit on the internet without any reason but I have lot of things to do on it. I do facebook, mylot, chat with my friends, etc. So, on the whole, for doing all this, it takes me hours. What about you all? Do you have alot of work that you are so busy and can't surf the internet for long hours or do you surf internet for long hours let the reason be anything? Do you surf the internet but for limited time. Why? I would love to see all your responses! Have a nice day!:)

I'm just like you lol Internet is addictive, it could ruin our work too lol. But it's really fun and specially if you have a special friends here, it became a new strength and support for us, cause we feel so close through this online world. I kinda limit myself from the internet lately, not because i want to but because I have to. Since i got ill, i really need to rest and not spending too much time on the internet, though I really missed my friends alot. I use internet to make money, I use internet to make friends, to search for informations, to look for entertainment, download a movie and musics lol so I'm one of the internet addict too.

Great!!!It's the same case with me. Whenever I am not well, I can't surf the internet at all and when I get alright, then I again come back and start surfing the net for the previous days as well. I really don't want to miss a day without surfing the net. Thanks for the response. Happy mylotting!

As for me i surf the net a couple of hours everyday, not just because i work online but because i enjoy surfing the net and most of the times watching vidoes too. When i dont have nothing to do i make sure that i visit my social networking sites too to keep up with friends and relatives ;)

When I get bored doing facebook and other things, I love to watch videos, as I find it as another source of entertainment. I watch the song's videos which I haven't watched yet. Thanks for the response. Have a great time!

well nice topic to talk about...well i surf internet 24*7...and its almost everyday...i stay online 24*7 and provides some technical help to people...who asks for...i generally download a lot...and surf also as well i generally do techenclave,mylot,orkut and sometimes facebok and since i m a verified uploader so i also upload torrent files in torrent sites...add comments to them...add trackers etc etc....so these are some few things that i do.....i surf internet but no limit is there i surf as much as i can since my internet is unlimited so no problem in surfing.......... :)

You ar a very lucky person indeed. You just have alot of time to surf the net and do alot of things. If I would have got this much of time free, maybe I would have surfed the net for more hours than I do now. Anywaya, Thanks for the response. Have a good day!

I can surf the internet for hours too, as it's my unlimited source of entertainment. I don't always have enough free time for this, but when I have a free day I use the internet to make up for the days I couldn't. I also keep a blog, so sometimes it takes time to update it

I surf the internet probably more than I watch television. I use it for so many reasons so usually I am on here for long periods of time and often. I enjoy most of the things that you do also.

Sheen13, I really like your topic.. Finally someone who thinks exactly like me.. I step on the internet there a long time..on my calendar is always markedan hour each day to devote to internet..over time on the internet meansbeing in step with the times..especially for me as a student, jousnalist and blogger..spend time on the internet for me does not mean throw!kiss

For me personally I get online to check my emails, I come to mylot and respond to as many discussions that catch my intrest then the rest of my time I am roll playing on Second Life. I did at one time surf the web all the time but I got bored with finding tall the same things over and over.

I do spend a fair amount of time on the internet, but I try to cut back and keep from spending hours on end here. I am pretty busy with school work, but I also have other things that I want to do more than I want to spend hours mindlessly surfing. I'm an avid reader who reads 2-3 books a week, I spend time writing, and I like spending time with my family and friends. I find that whenever I cut back on the time I spend online, I always seem to be living a little more. The interwebs can't beat real life.

Yes, I do surf internet for hours. I am connected online with my friends, relatives almost whole day except night because I prefer taking rest..

I love surfing net. Surfing the Internet is usually seen as fun, dangerous, or a tremendous waste of time, depending on who you ask. All of the above is true, but I enjoy and do lots of things on net. The internet is computer based global information system. It is composed of many interconnected computer networks.

So I am connected always.

I do a lot of things over the net: Facebook, MyLot, Multiply, Blogger, and a lot of other sites that I spend my time with. It's cool how I have met a lot of awesome people online.

I always surf for at least three a hours a day..and it's not in the Facebook. I don't really like using it anyway...It's true that surfing in the internet could make your day even worse but I guess there's no helping it if you're addicted to it.

same here... i just use internet for hours... may b unlimited if i have an opportunity.. i love to use internet... and now-a-days i spend most of my time in my lot... it never gets u bored... and i try to participate more and more... its really an informative website... i can live in a dark room for years if have computer in my room and an internet connection...

Yes,i do and i am addicted to internet.If i get any free time,i like to spend it on mylot and other money making sites.I also put a limit on my net usage.I dont want to get fully addicted to it.

I am also controlling myself. If I surf the internet for long long hours, then surely I will get addicted to it and I don't want to get addicted. So, at present, I am using the internet very little. I used to surf the internet for hours, like around 6 hours per day. Then after a year or so, I got tired. I felt my time spent on the internet was useless. I just surfed the internet to look at Hollywood blogs, online shops that sell clothes, etc. Now I use the internet more productively. I surf the internet for just around three hours a day. I check my facebook for a few minutes, then I post on mylot, and do some research related to my work online.

As far as I am concerned, I think I am not so busy with my work, so I will have a lot of time to surf the net . I will surf the net for so long a time which I enjoy my life to the fullest. First I will do some task in my online job, Then I may go to play some wonderful games for realxing. I enjoy it most.

I surf the web when I can't go out, can be weather, can be stamina, for example now, earlier I came from kendo, totally exhausted, it's one of those days that my sensei makes me work double as normal, I just wanna spend some time to recover then I'll be going out with my friends, it's a nice day too !

Spending time with friends is more fun than surfing the net. I also hang out with my friends but right now, as me and my friends are busy, we aren't able to hang out and so that is why I am surfing the net. But surfing the internet is also a great thing! Thanks for your response. Have a great day!
