Watch this video http://video.foxnews.com/v/4144219/congressman-picks-fight-at-restaurant/?loomia_ow=t0:s0:a4:g4:r5:c0.000000:b0:z5 what do you think? read - http://www.theatlanticwire.com/features/view/feature/Grayson-Storms-Tea-Party-Meeting-in-Perkins-1038 Now in the spirit of fairness, here is the liberal side http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/04/09/alan-grayson-confronts-go_n_532536.html Please at least scan what I have given you. The gist is, Grayson is saying that the GOP or the Tea party or somebody is spying. He knows this from an email that was sent out to Republicans (yes he is a Democrat). He came to confront the party and got very loud and obnoxious at a family restaurant. What is your opinion? Do you think the Conservatives are at fault? or the Democrats? or both? According to the huffington post, a tea party person went to an Organizing for America meeting and is bringing back a marketing idea called the snowflake. Do you think this is stupid and petty or do you think one side or the other has a point?

I think this is politics and that it's no more unusual than what goes on between political opponents in many states, year in and year out. Spying, idea stealing, sabotage, confrontations...it's nothing new. Two points about this though. Grayson made himself look bad...there's no doubt about that, regardless of the claims he was making. And my second point...no one here on mylot would be posting about this if it weren't for his connection to the Dr. Cassell situation.

Not really, I didnt even think of the doctor thing - that discussion has lost its point. By the way, I do appreciate your input there. I like discussing issues with you. I am very sorry if I came off as rude at times. I agree this is an issue all the way around and ANY politician would have looked stupid. But I did try to post both sides here.

No, you didn't come off as rude, laglen, so don't give it a second thought. I've enjoyed participating in discussions with you, too. You, at least, are capable of accepting that people are individuals with their own opinions and that that doesn't necessarily make them evil.

thank you for that and I would hope that is why we are in these discussions. I posted in the other discussion that you had me so close! lol i really do see your point, but I also see the doctors point. I really do not see Grayson as much of that issue even though that is how it started.

First, welcome back. I finished hauling as many rocks as I'm going to haul in one day. 2nd, Grayson is an idiot. I'm not sure how he passed himself off as someone who could really help his constituents and/or it doesn't say much for his constituents. Third, I think both parties are wrong and "petty". Fourth, but Grayson's move was simply dumb, but then what could we expect from the man? (That ought to get the hair up...)

lmao thanks! The tea was boring (hen party). picked up lots of money so that was good woo hoo! I agree BOTH are wrong and petty. Now hauling rocks is exhausting, get a nice stiff drink and watch. The tension is just as bad but I am trying to be nicer!

What's there to say? The guy is a complete moron. He's really the most emotionally unstable congressman I've ever seen. Do you remember all the democrats mocking John McCain calling him "McRage"? Where are those people now when it's a democrat who can't control his temper? I need to keep sharing his antics with my friends in Orlando. They can't let a nutcase like this get reelected. I just can't understand how anyone can support a freak of nature like this.

Based on what I've been reading locally, it doesn't look good for him...which may explain his freaking out.

You don't barge into a meeting because you want to see what they think of something. You, like any polite person, wait your turn and send an email, or confront them when they AREN'T in a meeting.

Cheeze whiz, does this guy ever need to get back on his meds! I don't care if he's right (which I seriously doubt, as that spying thing is an Alinsky--read Leftist/Democrat--trick), he's still waaaay over the line here! I wish my speakers worked. Well, maybe not...I did read he was swearing. Tsk. Typical. While I was there I saw the attack on Michelle Malkin video, too, & that obnoxious toad Alex, who is way past needing mere meds....what a brave person she is to stand up to that hulk! Maggiepie YOUR TOPIC DOESN'T HAVE A HOME? TRY THE "OPEN MIKE" CATEGORY! DISCUSS ANY & EVERYTHING--2 TOPICS OR MORE AT ONCE!

What do you expect, lol? This guy is a nutjob. He obviously forgot to take his meds that day. He used to belong to Code Pink, or heck, maybe he still belongs to Code Pink, lol.

Alan Grayson is a nut. This is the guy who said the GOP health care plan was for sick people to die quickly. As to people spying on him, why him? He is just a Congressmen. If someone is going to spy on someone don't you think it would be someone a little more important?

Oh my...talk about behaving badly...he did this in a Perkins...a family resturant. I noticed some bleeps in it...so this guy was cursing in front of kids. Nice one...true class there. (saracism) He went there knowing he was going to cause a public scene. He is unprofessional. He is out of control. To cause a scene like that in a public place like that. He then refused to apologize. The owner of the place should have kicked him out and if he did not leave have him kicked out. A regular person would not have been allowed to cause a scene in public like that...why should he? I don't know if they were "spying" on him. But even if they were he should not have caused a scene like that. Call a press conference....call the cops. But don't make a jerry springer scene like that. No class.
