do you feel like you could just watch over and over again? For me it is either Hope Floats, Dirty Dancing, or Where the Heart is. I don't know what it is about those three movies, but they are the ones that I've watched at least a hundred times each in my lives. I think it is honestly the love stories in these movies that draw me into them. I'm looking forward to hearing what movies draw you back time and time again and what the reason is that you are addicted to them.

Hi Dorann, For me all Julia Roberts movies particularly Pretty Woman and Notting Hill. Now there's an additional movie that we love watching over and over again...Music and Lyrics. Even my kids love watching it and even sing along with its soundtrack--Way back into love!

I love all of the Julia Roberts movies as well. In fact, I've made it my mission to collect all of her movies on DVD. There are only a few that I'm still missing at this point.

I've also yet to see Valentine's Day and I know that she is in it, but from what I understand it is only for a few minutes. Have you seen it?

yesssss...we both love JR's movies. WE have collections of her movies but since we love watching it even our kids, some have scratches so we need to replace it. i am looking forward to her new movie entitled: love, eat and pray!

I love comedies. If it makes me laugh, I want to see over and over again. I can quote lines from Clue, Spaceballs, History of the World Part 1, and Auntie Mame. Those movies always put a smile on my face.

Comedies are a great thing. I find that for me I come back to them time and again when I am having a bout with depression.

There are no movies I could watch over and over without being sick of them. I have to go years between seeing movies most of the time, especially if it's one I've seen more than once. Other movies I just can't watch them again no matter what.. especially like M. Knight Shamalayan movies. I love them, but once you've seen them, you really can't watch it again.

I definitely also know exactly what you mean about there being movies that you can't watch again. Thanks for sharing.

There are a lot of movies which I have watched over and over again, from classics such as "The Godfather" and "Star Wars" through to obscure foreign movies such as "Tetsuo" and "Malena". But one which I often reach for when I just can't decide what to watch is "Under the Tuscan Sun" because it not only has an easy going, entertaining romantic storyline but also wonderful scenic shots of Tuscany which just carry you off to the sun kissed olive groves.

I almost think that the holiday movies go without saying, I know that I certainly enjoy them and there are several that I watch every year when they come on. Stand By Me is also another wonderful movie. However, I can't say that I am familiar with The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane.

I think probably and Disney movie [from 1998 or before] I could watch endlessly. I grew up watching all those classic Disney movies and I love singing along with the song, lol! I also like a lot of Tim Burton's movies; namely Beetlejuice, the NIghtmare Before Christmas and Batman Returns.

The Disney movies are also quite timeless. I enjoyed watching them as a little girl and now my children enjoy watching them as well. It is a good thing that I enjoy them.

dorannmwin, It will depend on my mood. If I want to have a good laugh alone or with the family, then it will have to be "Mrs Doubtfire" starring Robin Williams - who is my favorite comedian actor. He's simply the best over many I have known and come across. For a thrill, I'd go for that Korean spy thriller - "Shiri" I am not sure if you've seen it but I can assure you a world class performance where it just have everything you'd like in counter terrorism thrillers. I am enclosing a trailer for your viewing - it is both exciting and touching. Shiri: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XOTU2NzQ1Mjg=.html Pick the DVD if you like it. Have a nice day and if you are watching it have a great time too.

Mrs. Doubtfire is definitely a great one. It has been so long since I've seen that movie, but it always was something that would make me smile when I was feeling down.

I could watch Speed over and over again. Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves shine in this movie. Films that get my heart racing are worth watching more than once. Speed definitely fits the bill!

I love Sandra Bullock's While You Were Sleeping. I lost count on how many times I've watched this movie. Just like you, I also like watching love stories. I also love Jennifer Garner's 13 Going 30 and Reese Witherspoon's Just Like Heaven. I have DVD copies of these movies. :-)

I've seen While you Were Sleeping, but I must admit that I've never seen the other two movies that you've mentioned, I'm going to have to look for them so that I can see them for myself.

my favorites are Pride and Prejudice, Mulan and Princess Bride. I love the strong female characters well... maybe not so much in Princess Bride but Wesley makes up for that. :)

A movie that I have watched and will continue to watch over and over again, is 'The Holiday', I've seen it so many times I can't even count, I just love it. I tend to watch a lot of movies over and over, but I think that I've watched 'The Holiday' much more than any other movie by far.

I almost bought The Holiday over the Christmas season when it was on sale for a very cheap price, but I couldn't bear to part with that much money, so I passed it up. I guess I will have to borrow it from my brother and sister-in-law.

Well, I try not to watch too many films over and over, because I alfready have several DVDs I own, but haven't seen yet! But ones that I do watch over and over (usually if they happen to be on TV) include my childhood favourites like The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Grease and the Carry On films. I never seem to tire of any of those, even though I could probably step in and recite most of the script by now!!

Yes, there are movies that I could quote most of the script from as well. I think that the main example for me is Dirty Dancing because I went through a period where I was watching that movie at least once a week and sometimes as much as once a day.

hello dorannmwin. .. the movie that makes me watch it over and over again is DYING YOUNG by Julia Roberts and Campbell Scott.. i love this movie so much that evrytime i watch this i cried and cried though i watch it almost evryday.. and the theme song of this movie by Kenny G using a saxophone cos its an instrumental music makes me more draw into it and the other one is GHOST of Demi Moore and Patrick Swayzee ... this makes me sad and the theme song Unchained Melody makes it perfect.. try these and you will say i am right..

Both of these are great movies. I've seen Ghost many, many times although it has been quite a while. And Dying Young is a really good movie as well and again one that I haven't seen in quite some time (however, I'm a huge Julia Roberts fan which is the reason that I initially bought the movie).
