How often do you wash your hair? I wash mine every second day usually but right now I'm using cr@ppy shampoo and it only keeps my hair clean for one day! I can't stand dirty hair. Mine goes all itchy and greasy if I don't wash it regularly. I hate washing my hair; it takes so much effort! How often do you wash yours?

I wash my hair, meaning that I rinse it, every time I bathe. If my hair is particularly greasy or dirty then I use a splash of vinegar, but otherwise I have not used shampoo for several years. Really, your hair gets used to not being stripped of it´s normal protective oils very quickly.

I am fairly fussy about what shampoo I use, generally preferring to stay with Fructose Sleek and Shine, although I did use some L'occitane recently as it was provided by the Hotel room service. That worked pretty good too. How often depends on how much exposure to dirt I've had. This week I am sorting stuff in a dusty dirty storage facility and getting very filthy, so I'm washing it every day. The next considerations are how hot it is outside and how much time I have. If it is cold outside I might not have time to dry wet hair, so maybe I would put off washing it for a few days if it looks OK. Usually it starts looking dingy before I feel anything, so I wash it whenever it loses the shine.

Just like you, I wash my hair every other day or the third day if I can get away with it. Being a woman, it takes time for us to do our hair every day to make it look decent enough to venture out in the world and still be human looking instead of some wild animal. I have short hair but used to have long long hair, almost to my butt. I washed it every other day or the third day just like I do now and it took forever for me to dry it by a hair dryer.

Hi, coffeeshot. I wash my hair every week or every other week. My hair starts to really itch within a week's time. And when it itches, I will wash it. I don't like washing my hair sometimes. I wished that I could get someone else to wash it for me. Even if I paid them a few bucks to wash it.

Have you worked out which would be the best method to wash your hair? Depending on the type of water in your area, something as simple as a baking soda solution (1 teaspoon dissolved in a mug of water) might be enough to clean your hair..it works! could be that the shampoo you're using now is stripping the natural oils from your hair, causing your follicles to over produce, and keeping the cycle of problem washing going! It could also be too strong, leaving you with that itchy scalp..

I wash mine twice a day, You should try a new shampoo like Pantene or something else sometimes you have to spend a little extra for things like that, I used this shampoo at the Dollar store which some things I will buy there because I love the Dollar store but I had bought this shampoo there and it broke me out, and made my head itch So I am going to have toi spend a little extra on my shampoo this week, not that I wanted to times are rough now with money but I don't want to have an itch on my head, and I don't want to break out in a rash which I already have one from that crappy shampoo. Oh well Have a good day!!

Hi coffeeshot! Here in our country where it's always hot and dusty we normally wash our hair everyday during our bath. I use shampoo and conditioner and so far it doesn't dry out my hair and scalp, must be the shampoo and conditioner I'm using :) For the shampoo I only use a tiny amount and apply it only at the crown of my head and as soon as the suds appear I immediately rinse it with water. Then for the conditioner I use a good amount and apply it only at the tips. And then I massage my scalp for a minute and then rinse my hair thoroughly, making sure no residues are left =)

I wash my hair thrice every week...if its oily and Irritating coz of sweat in the summers then i wash it four times.I make sure i apply conditioner before every wash which prevents my hair from drying.i think you should consult a hair specialist...so he can suggest you some good care for your hair.great day.

Hi,I totally agree with your point of view.I wash my hair every other day except in summer.I can't bear my sweating in the hot temperature,so i must wash my hair every day shortly after my being offwork.Whereas I like washing my hair and feel refreshing and cool after that process.

I wash my hair everyday. But sometimes i do it twice a day. I can't stand having greasy and dirty hair too. Some people says do not wash your and shampoo your hair everyday and that it should only be done 3-4 times a week. I can't do it, i need to wash my hair everyday.

I wash it everyday. Although, I heard that it aint healthy. They say its advisable if you would do it every other day. I would just use conditioner most of the time and sometimes with shampoo. I try to do hair spa too. It does help =)

I wash my hair at least once per day while I am in the shower. I have very fine thin hair. It looks/feels awful when it is dirty.

I used to wash mine every time I took a shower. But after hearing The Doctors on their TV show recommend not washing it so often because it was better for your hair, I have cut it down to twice a week unless I do heavy exercise and get it all sweaty. Being a guy this may be a little easier for me than for the gals. However, my hair is not real short or particularly long but it is quite wavy and even curly some times. But since I have changed to this, I have noticed that it is healthier and that I lose less hair.

I have very long hair which I wear up most week days. I colour my hair once a month and since I’ve gotten older my hair is not as oily and, because I like to keep my hair colour fresh I only wash and condition my hair once a week and it is enough. Years ago my hair would need to be shampooed almost every day because it used to look terrible otherwise; it’s all changed with age (LOL)!

I have to wash my hair at least every other day. I don't like my hair looks or feels if i don't. Even changing shampoos does not make a difference to my hair.
