At the time I got home last night only the owls remained active. This old woman was up from 3AM to 12AM and that is not good. But I went to a book club meeting and the conversation got so interesting I just couldn't go home. Thank goodness I could go back for a nap after morning chores were finished. Do you do things like this on a week night?

Well, I am a night owl. I've been a night owl for almost as long as I can remember and it only got worse when I got a job working third shift at one of our local hospitals. I used to sleep late into the day, but our schedule has changed and I now go on less sleep than I used to deal with. I know that I probably should go to bed earlier, but for some reason the idea of that just doesn't appeal to me at all these days, I like my personal quiet time.

I used to. I could party all night, grab a couple hours' sleep and go all day. I could do that up until a few years ago but now, at 56, I've slowed down quite a bit. I don't go anywhere in evenings. In fact, the only place I go anymore is to visit my dad and stepmother and to the grocery store. All work and no play...

I am temporarily out of my country. The night owl did not travel with me, maybe due to the drastic change in weather (winter here), I knock off much earlier than usual. I find the daylight is shorter than where I was before.

Nope. I am up at 4 a.m. most days so no burning the candles at both ends for me! I used to be night owl years ago but any more. I’ve discovered that I am definitely a morning person and nights are just to sleep! I would love to join a book club, it sounds so interesting, but I don’t know if there are any in my area.

I used to stay up until about 5 am every night just because I had a hart time falling asleep. I'd finally get to sleep, wake up a few hours later, and then be EXHAUSTED all day until about 10 PM. It's not the case with me anymore, although I will occasionally stay up until about 2 am on a weeknight, usually trying to make some money on ChaCha (it's so busy there in the evenings!). But I couldn't stay up until 12 AM. I am too old for that (and I am only 19). Haha.

Hubby used to start work at 2PM till 11PM. Then when he'd come home, we'd have dinner and then spend the evening as normal people would and go to bed around 4 or 5 and get up at noon. So I guess Im an honest to goodness night owl lol.

I work two jobs so I'm up when the owls are! I am teaching a summer camp from 730 am to 4 pm and then I work at mcdonald's from around 6 pm to 230 am. So I usually sleep 330 am to 7 am. It is very tiring! Thankfully this camp is only 6 weks so after thati will look for a part time job later in the afternoon maybe 12 to 4. I don't really have time for stuf like book clubs!

I had been an owl for a year and a half. I used to work for a call centre where we used to work late night shifts. Some of the shifts used to start at midnight, called the graveyard shift. But it used to be fun being an owl.
