I'm curious - Does myLot pay foreign members in US currency or the equivelent ?

My myLot payment this month came to $10.68 Canadian. This could be the equivalent of $10.00 US, as the Canadian Dollar is continually fluctuating against the US Dollar. In Canada $10.00 is not much money. If you took $10.00 Canadian, to a Grocery Store in Canada you could buy a small roast of beef, or a few green vegetables, and a basket of fresh fruit. What will the myLot payout buy in your country? How much food can you buy with the myLot payout where you live?

Well mylot is more like a past time than a job. And yes 10 bucks is not big, even here in the Philippines. But it is better than nothing. With $10 here you can buy 2 pcs of roasted chicken. I'd say not bad.

Well a bucket of roast chicken here in Canada can cost up to $20.00, so your payout is much better than nothing! Of course it depends on the size of the chicken.

the $10 can even buy 15 kilos of rice and that 15 kilos can be consumed in more than 15 days at times.. (we are only three in the family by the way)........ Not bad after all.......

yeah, it's not bad as we cannot find $10 walking on the street. at least here we can share information and enjoy with the discussions, and meet friends too.

In the UK $10 is equal to around £6.25 To give you an idea of what that would buy a Big Mac meal and leavy you around £1 (60c) In a supermarket you could buy a small chicken and a few vegetables In a filling station around 2.75 litres of petrol

A Litre of Gasoline in Canada is $1.01 today. Its been hovering right around the $1.00 for a while now. Canada is heavily taxed on Gasoline. Its all about money for the Government to pay for roads, and infrastructure.

I wish ours was that low - we pay about twice that much a litre is around £1.18 - and that is by no means the highest - it is £1.30 on the motorways (around 70c - 80c in Canada's currency!)

MyLot pays in dollars and then it lands in your Paypal account in the currency that you have chosen, Here in Italy we use €uros but I prefer to have my Paypal in dollara because I don't withdraw any funds for offline purposes. $10 is €7.62 and would buy just about the same amount of food as you suggest. It would not be enough to go and eat a pizza - that costs around €11 to eat in the pizzeria. It would buy 7 real Italian gelatos though

This Canadian wonders what a"real gelatos" is, and what would a gelatos be like if it wasn't real? I presume its edible? A Jello in Canada is a flavored sugar dessert.

"Gelato" is Italian for 'ice-cream'. It seems that there is a chain of ice-cream stores that sell or make their own brand and go under the name of 'gelato' but they have very little similarity with the real thing Therefore I could enlighten 7 people as to whatthe real thing tastes like

hi barehugs here in the US in Ca ten dollars does not get you much maybe six dollar roast, a two dollar on sale loaf of wholegrain bread and two dollars of some fresh veggie. I am now here in Gold Crest retirement center but I buy snacking stuff for my diabetes and ten dollars now days does not go far. I think California is one of the most expensive states in the the US. luckily my payout is triple the ten so it all goes to pay my internet bill which is why I love to mylot a lot.

I can see that myLot members from other countries are getting better paid. This is good to know, and possibly explains why so many from Asian Countries are joining up. Join the fun, and earn some money too! Welcome aboard!

Well $10.00 US is about 0.66 cents in euro, so it doesnt really give that much. It is money anyways but seeing that alot of the prices are going up sometimes it isnt worth it.

In Thai Baht ten dollars is enough to eat 15 meals out at inexpensive restaurants. At the fresh market enough food to eat for a week.

Mylot just pays for US dollars to all the users, no matter where they come from. USD10 can be enough for about two or three people to have a meal in McDonald's here. I love China

The $10 I get from this site have helped me in many ways...... I usually withdraw them after three payments, that means when my money is more than $30 and that is around P1,500. That could be a big money and can even buy a week grocery supply. But for the past two months, I have saved my Mylot and other online earnings for my foreign trip . Just an extra pocket money.

I believe you will be paid the same as an American member would, however because paypal is an American company you will likely be charged some sort of free from them. Probably not very much but I do know that pay pal does take some kind of fee for paying people from other countries. It varies by country though so I don't know what it would be for Canada. $10.00 is not much in the United States either, just enough to pay for one person to go to the movies, and not even get a drink.

I live in Canada, and Paypal pays me in American Funds. I have a choice as I can use the money in US dollars or Canadian dollars depending on which country I'm paying the bill in. I think this is very fair, and I like to have an account with Paypal!

you make an interesting point, barehugs, because to those of us in Canada or US, 10 bucks seems hardly worth the time. however, for some folks, depending on the country in which they live, it may mean the difference between eating and not eating its kind of nice to think that friends around the world may really benefit from mylot you've made my day!

if I will $10.00, its equivalent is Php.450.00. This money can buy 5 kilos of rice. For us like Filipino, $ 10.00 is a big value because Philippines suffering poverty like now, and we know that we are in recession period. But i do believe that Philippines is very rich country, we just need to learn how to use, cultivate, enhance every wealth that the Philippines has.

Hello i am from India, my lot pays me via paypal in US dollars only, one such $ is approximately 45 indian ruppes. Due to my busy schedule i never reach my 10 dollrs pay out every month.. Here in my place in India a 100 rupee note can buy any one of the following, 1.8 liters of petrol for my scooter, 500 grams of chicken, 400 grams of goat meat, 2 kilograms of fresh cauliflower, 2 kilograms of white scented rice, 8 kilograms of potato, 4 kilograms of onion, 2 bottles of 1 liters coke, or a plane non-vegetarian meal in a road side hotel, if you are hungry.. Thanks for sharing. Professor. .
