I was so upset yesterday when I was driving. I was struck on the turn right lane so I signaled to turn left, and slowly move out. I saw some space between a lorry and the white car behind , at least 6 car length so I move out. The white car speed up and honked me so I tried to straighten the car. He went to the other lane, and when I was in my lane he came into my lane and brake once forcing me to brake, then after he move off and remain ahead of me he slowed down and jammed his brakes again. I am wondering why there are some stupid and childish drivers around. Are they hoping to create an accident. I am reporting it to the traffic police and hope they are able to bring these drivers to justice and take them off the road.

There are many crazy and stupid drivers like this that they think that the road is theirs. When you suddenly went into their lane, they will think that you have invade them. These kind of drivers are consider very dangerous and they are so call road bullies. What I will do to avoid this kind of road bullies is to slow down my car and let them go. When they think that you are actually not behind them they will probably just go away. I have encounter this before with a cab driver, he did the same thing and jammed his brake again and again in front of me just because I have over take his car. What I did was I take over his car again and drive slowly in front of his car, I can actually see he is angry and annoyed following behind me. This is my way to punish this kind of people. Sometime, I am a evil person...

Well it is dangerous to try to take picture while driving, please do be careful, I think it is better to install one of the car cameras on your car then to take a normal camera.

Yes I think more could be done about these drivers, I am not too sure what yet, however if we all put our mind together we can think of a solution to put these drivers in their place.

I think I what I will do is to bring my camera along when I am driving. I will take down those crazy driver's pictures if they go wild...Our country here allow you to send those pictures of road bullies to the authority website and they will charge them if they found that they have really break the rules.

Hi iwrite, What a terrible driver! He must have disliked your car, your face or something. You did the right thing by reporting it, hope you catch the licence plate.

I have caught his licence plate number, however it got me thinking, it would be his word against my, I hope the police have something else against him that I would be able to use. Perhaps I should start a website to shame all these drivers online, they better be watching for the power of the social media to catch them on video.

Would you imagine if I got the video, the police might be charging me for dangerous driving for trying to video the incident while driving, maybe I should get those cameras install onboard my car.

Yes, it does seem hard if all you have got is the licence plate number. Pity you didn't have it on video. But then, if you are rational and present your facts systematically, maybe the police will believe you. Also, being such a reckless person, who knows, he might already have some past records.

I don't know if reporting will really do you any good, I am sure the police see all kinds of bad driving and they do go after them, but they have to see them violating the law. I hate drivers who do this and the main reason I absolutely HATE city driving. See in the rural or small towns you still get the stupid drivers, they are just not as bold and rare..

hi iwrite oh my G you were being stalked by that white car's driver and he was probably indulging in road rage. Did you have a cell phone with yo u or get off the freeway and phone the police as this jerk could have killed you. Yes I think the jerk or jerkess as they c come in both sexes was being really nasty and hoping to c ause you grief. We have had so many of these kinds of people on Ca highways here and I would, if I were the other driver being stalked, get a full discription and call the police.

Hatley Thanks for reading and giving your opinion, before this I was already set to set the information to the traffic police, the online thing is his word against my, I hope there are people who would step up if they have seen this too.

Good for you on reporting them. I have had a couple of times where someone in front of me was going extremely slow. I passed them when I could then they sped up and were all over my bumper. They were acting like they were going to pass me. Once I got to my hometown, instead of turning on the road I live, I turned in to the grocery store parking lot. Thankfully these people went on down the road.

bluidkiti, sorry for the late reply, my focus was to complete the report and sent it to the traffic police, I guess the thing is that it is a little troublesome on our site, however I hope that this would teach the others a little lesson and have a little more road safety.

I've noticed it also-seems there are so many jerks..they all have to be first and think they're in the gran tourismo or something...I had a lady hit me 2 years ago-she was tailgating like mad and guess what? some idiot changed lanes and slammed the brakes last minute-she went right into the back of me. To add to it-she was on the phone! I think they need to make everyone take a yearly refresher course in driving rules.

I hope you got the plate number and do that call the police and put them on the alert if nothing else. As this can't be the first time this dummy driver irritates someone and it certainly can lead to serious injuries. Imagine an elder on your side of the road and this driver causes this person to lose control or a heart attack. So please do all citizens a favor and report the incident. Here in Illinois we can call 311 and put in a police report that way.

Do your part and report it anyways, who knows this may be a person who has irritated so many and did not get all the information like you. So with your report it may end up helping. Good Luck!

I know how that feels. I was coming out of the Stater Bros. Parking lot in Azusa, and some woman ran right into my car as I was backing out. It was her fault, but she would never admit to it. I can't stand people like that, who hit another person, they know that it was their fault, and they won't admit to it. Some people just don't know how to drive, or they are impatient and they refuse to wait for people. These people should never be driving.

you are right, cars are dangerous weapons is not handled properly. I think at the end of the day, if they believe that the people power would be there to stop them perhaps they might behave.

ONce u fall into their trap, whatever disadvantage u have will turn against u.. haha =D IF that driver insist on doing that, just let him do that, while u concentrate on your driving. You are totally right, I am not too sure if he thinks his car is stronger and more power or what. I did lose my cool a bit but then I thought let the police handle him, I have report him to the traffic police and I hope he would be able to pin him and the papers pick up the story and those other idiot driver would take note there are not safe. I seen so many videos on stomp. can you imagine.

Well it was your bad luck to have encountered one of those drivers who are so insecure that when someone tries to cut in before the, they resent it and think it is done intentionally so their immediate reaction is to cut in before you by doing exactly what you described this driver to have done. This driver tries to make up for his insecurity by becoming aggressive just to prove that he is not a coward when actually he is.And yes his intention is for you to meet an accident. i hope you were able to get his car plate number and reported it to the police

What an idiot this guy is! Some people are children in grown up bodies and it’s such a shame that a lot of them have been granted a driver’s licence! What was this guy trying to prove aside from the fact that he is a moron? Maybe he thinks so little of himself that he has to make himself feel better by attempting to intimidate another driver. You did the right thing reporting the fool…

haha, in some ways I have not grown up too. but you are right to mention this, some people just never grow up in some aspect. Now he creates danger for people on the street and that is why I think action should be taken against them.

Hi iwrite!. There are so many selfish driver in the street, who not wait patiently in the road. I think they only know how to go somewhere as fast as possible without thinking others safety. I think its good if you reported him to traffic police so he will learn his lesson but better if you had proof before reporting him. Have a nice day .

Did you have time with all this going on to get the plates? I agree that drivers like that are trying to cause trouble and most likely will, for themselves if not for somebody else. Hopefully for themselves first.

Well he was kind enough to jam his brakes in front of me twice and let me have the time to take down his licence plate number. Good luck to him if we need to see him in court. Else I would report it in the papers and try to shame his behavior.

Good for you if you reported him! That is just stupid. I have had drivers do the same to me... Just stupid. We go out of our way to be polite and drive safely and then these jerks throw all our caution out the window because they are mad about something! Just stupid!

I would've honked at the other driver when he was in front of me. One long honk that everyone would be turning their heads to see what was up. I know it's rude to honk at a driver but he was being rude too so that's how I retaliate. (I'm prone to road rage only when provoked...hahahaha!) I hate those drivers! First of all, he probably was just going about his leisurely pace until he found out that you planned to enter his lane. Then he didn't want that so he sped up. I hate it when that happens. Then all that unnecessary braking when he was in front of you. That was so intentional! Some drivers are just so immature! I'm still glad you didn't get yourself in trouble, though. Take care!

jonnifc, I agree it was immature, there was a moment I wanted to race ahead of him to confront him, however my daughter was in the car and the thought of her, make me realise I want to protect her and other kids like her. I would like to go the proper channel to have these people stop from using the roads. I hope it would be useful.

lacieice, I hope to get him into this sort of trouble too, he has not regard of other people life. I did a scan online, apparently there are a lot of people having this kind of experience. However none seem to be brought to justice. I hope I would open up a can of worms and start all revoking all these peoples licence. If you cannot be trusted to drive properly then you should not be able to drive at all.

Hello iwrite, That sounds like road rage coming from the other driver. I agree with you. Driving is so stressful. I had just commented to my sister that some people are really angry when they are driving. They are rude and childish. I pray for travel mercy when drive. And, to keep the peace, I let the fools go straight to.... I am glad that it was not worse for you. :)

I think this people should be taken off the road, this is already a stressful world and a stressful road, I hope these people either learn, or be taken off the road. I hope the police can build a case against him and stop him from using the road for a long time to come.

I hate stupid drivers as well! I just had a run in with a really bad road raged driver about a month ago. We were driving on a high way and this car got mad because he was being stupid cutting in and out of traffic so we cut him off so we didn't have to be around him. He started running up our rear end and trying to annoy us so we slowed down. He continued his game for a while then flew around us. He came up to the passengers side window & screamed for us to pull over that he'd f*** us up and he wanted to fight and all these nasty things. We ignored him and turned to head on post where we cut through to go home. When we got to the gate he was still behind us and driving crazy so we let the security guard know and they talked to him and let him through. A little further down the road we got to a spot where there was dirt on both sides of the road and we were on a two lane rd. He came flying around us, driving in the wrong lane and pulled sideways onto the road to block us so we'd be stuck. We pulled over to try and reverse and he threw his car in reverse to follow us! Finally we threw the car in gear and managed to get around him and headed home. I guess he gave up chasing us. It was really scary though. We had the kids in the car and we didn't know what he was capable of! So yes I hate crazy drivers! Today I had someone try to do a u-turn right into me!
