topping combinations

What is the most unusual combination you've tried? I'm not very daring I guess the most I've tried is a Hawaiian pizza wich is Canadian bacon & pineapple pizza. My hubby thinks it's gross. I've been reading there are some very unusual toppings to be had and vary around the world. Some people like things like crayfish, squid, eel, eggs, coconut, sprouts, dandelions, mashed potatoes, bacon + eggs, & even peanut butter and jelly on their pizza. For those outside of the US what are combinations you find most tasty? And those in the US what toppings have you tried on your pizza that would be considered unusual that you liked?

I am trying to think of the weirdest combination I have had. One of them is as you said the Hawaiian pizza. I guess another is Jalapenos and Tomato. Of course another is Macaroni and Cheese, another Spinach and Cheese and one more is hot sauce and cheese. Of course, none of these were really disgusting combiantions, they were actually quite good.

I was always a safe eater. I am wary of experimenting and trying new things. If it is pizza, I usually order Hawaiian pizza, a combination of ham, cheese and pineapple. I also love it in plain cheese with a combination of 6 kinds of cheese. Whenever we eat pizzas at the office, we order a variety of flavors. Well I got to taste seafood pizza and one with chicken barbeque. But I like the hawaiian and the cheese flavored pizza more.

i'm not really a piza lover and i hardly eat pizza... in fact, i think the very last time i eat pizza is about few years ago (more than 2 years)... i prefer pasta compare to pizza and if i eat pizza, the topping that i like is meat lovers... that is combination of meat with bacon, cheese and pineapples... take care and have a nice day...

Like you, nothing truly spectacular. Hawaiian is as risky as I think I have gotten. I did try the blackberry dessert pizza once they had at Cici's.

I actually did have a bacon, egg and cheese pizza. Red Barron makes them and sells them in the breakfast frozen section...gosh...they are great!!! Normally I have just extra cheese on my pizza, unless I am up in Chicago, then I go for the famous Italian Sausage and cheese pizza...deep dish of course!!!

Well I am in The U.S. and my husband ordered a Pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers and pineapple and I had never had that before until I met him I was thinking he was crazy for putting pineapple on a Pizza but actually it was pretty good!!! I just don't eat any pork anymore but when I did the pineapple on the Pizza wasn't bad at all!! And I had never dipped my crust in Ranch Dressing but I tried that too and it was pretty good as well!! Have a good day!!

There is one pizza place that is somewhat close to where we live that does have a Hawaiian pizza that I think is really good. It is ham, pineapple, almonds and cinnamon on the pizza. I think that is might be the best pizza that I've ever had but everyone else in my family thinks that it is disgusting. Then there is the pizza that they have at Gattitown that is a barbeque pizza, again something that I like but that my hubby and kids make fun of me for eating.

Sausage and Pepperoni. I think I've might've added more to it like cheese and maybe some pepper to make it nice.

I really like the pepperoni pizza with sausage and extra cheese. My favorite is the stuff crust pizza that is used in some restaurants.

My favorite is Hawaiian pizza too. That's my choice whenever I go to the pizza shop at the food court in the shopping mall. When I go there, they know what I would be prdering. I like Hawaiian pizza with lots of cheese and pineapple. Yummy, yummy !

I tried putting broccoli on it once but nobody liked it, so much for my attempt to make pizza healthy! Real Hawaiian is my favorite--Canadian bacon, pineapple, onions and bell peppers! The bell peppers add a flavor that just completes the whole thing, I love it. I've noticed that in the past few years pizza places have quit putting onions and bell peppers on Hawaiian so I have to ask for them to put it on.

Well bacon and eggs isn't unusual, that's a breakfast pizza, and we like those! I've had a seafood pizza, oh that was delicious! I think anything would go just fine on a pizza, as long as you make it right. I mean you obviously can't use tomato sauce when making a breakfast or seafood pizza. I find that I prefer garlic sauce when having a spinach, mushroom, broccoli, or tomato pizza (or a combination of all of the above toppings). We've made taco pizzas, bbq chicken, buffalo wing, bacon cheeseburger.. we're pretty adventerous when we make our pizzas. I won't usually eat most of them.. hubby and the kids do though. There's really nothing you can't do with pizza!

We do not have pizza often as it is horribly expensive out here. But some of those things you mentioned would make me throw up. We are traditional, I guess, a veggie mixture on half ( I love mushrooms)and then pepperoni and bacon on the other half. But peanut butter or crayfish? Are you kidding? Sounds absolutely gross and this old lady will not be eating it. Even potatoes sound awful on a pizza. Yucky!

So far I've not tried any combinations but I'm quite daring when it comes to food. For me, I love cheese and MORE cheese. To me, cheese is tasty and I like the sticky texture.

I've tried the one with eel , and let me tell you it's awful, like seriously,I'm never trying that again. But I do like the Hawaiian pizza. Lots of guys say its bad, but i guess it's a girl thing to like that kind of pizza.
