Were there earthquakes in the region before 1945 when the bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? I sometimes wonder if they didn't help along some of the instability of the teutonic plates in that area. Am I crazy? I also think that event in '45 is in the Book of Revelation in the Bible, ch 6:12-7:1 and 13:13. - I have to do a little research find out the history of earthquakes in a large area around Japan, before 1945. But in the meantime, do you know if they had many earthquakes before then?

Japan sit on top of the junction of three tectonic plates and has always been prone to earthquakes. The Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs were rather miniscule in there release of energy compared to the energy released during a major earthquake.

yes, there was. japan is located near the ring of fire which are teutonic plates located all around the pacific ocean. this is why chile has earthquakes along with california and chile. the atom bomb woudn't of played a factor as the ring of fire was already there.

Japan always had a lot of earthquakes from their past. But maybe the atomic bomb has triggered it to let it become bigger. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_earthquakes This is a rough list of recorded earthquakes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_earthquakes_in_Japan This is the list of earthquakes in Japan from it's past.

It is to my understanding that yes, Japan is located on one of the most unstable places on earth. And actually, there were several different news articles discussing that very same topic in light of this recent catastrophe...CNN, World News, the UP, Fox and a few others were talking about it. The bombs have nothing to do with it, as that's just an unfortunate place to be on this huge globe.

There has always been earthquakes. That is why the Japanese built these paper houses because there were so many that they had to construct the houses quickly. I do think that things are getting a little more extreme now, more storms, unusual weather patterns, etc. but ost of these are caused by man. I do not mean letting off bombs, using the land unwisely, etc. All that God needs is for man to get things wrong by his words and say "the world is getting warmer,"when it is not or use false information and God will say "well if you think there is global warming, well I will make parts of the earth unusually cold so you can have the temperature and not swelter in the summer, but at the expense of those who live in the northern climates." Also now, we know what is happening instantly. Before the 2nd World War, communication was in its infancy and transporation slower so it would take weeks or months before one knew when a certain earthquake happened.

The ring of fire, has a consistent history of earthquakes.

The reason of earthquakes is that GOD IS ANGRY "Job 9:5-6" Follow Bro. Eli and he will explain all the Doctrines of Our God. Ask him and try him about the words of God and you will prove which is which... The true man of God in our time. http://esoriano.wordpress.com/
