How high are your heels?

Recently I shopped with my sister and it was a surprise to see her getting herself a pair of 4 inches high heels.
What matters to me most is she is not a high heel lover NOR somebody who wear on high heels all the time. We are talking about about 4 inches high. Not 2 1/2 inches or 3 inches high.
After she bought the heels, immediately she wore it and walked in the shopping mall.
Gosh~~ The heels are rather rock n roll. It has silver buttons all over and high estripes on the knee.
Eventhough it doesn't suit her character, I have had to say...it looked rather unpleasant.
All she have said, she wanted to be "different" and looked different.
But after a ten minutes walk, she began to bend abit her knees and looking for benches all over. LOL
Hilarious to have watched her massaging her toes and knees and later changing back to her slippers...hahaha

I love high heeled shoes! All of mine are 3-4 inches high. I have very high arches and keeping my heels elevated keep them from falling and causing me back pain. The problem is if I am not constantly walking around in them, they start to make the balls of my feet hurt because that's where all of my weight is concentrated instead of balanced over my whole foot. But walking around in them, I can do for a long time. Plus, they make my legs look fantastic!

hahaha...
what i like about heels is I can look taller and my legs look slimmer.
Can never wear an evening gown without a good pair of heel.

I haven't been able to wear high heels since I slipped in a muddy puddle in India in 1981 and ricked my back! Even looking at a pair makes my back ache! ;)

Good lord... You should get your back fixed..i always have back ache and been receiving treatment ever since...
I always have a good pair of heels in my car. Need it when visitting some clients.

Ha!ha!ha!ha! Your sister made me really laugh. How could she had ever thought of changing her image that way!
Four inches is four inches and if you are not used to wearing heels then that four inches heels will surely torture you. And it did torture your sister! See how she felt exhausted after just 10 minute of walking on that high heels. ha!ha!ha!

My heels are nonexistent. I've never been able to walk in them, and my balance has gotten worse as I've gotten older. So, I'd rather not risk falling on my face just to totter on mini stilts. But, I've never been a shoe person anyway. I don't mean I go barefoot. I just mean I don't care about fashion with shoes. I can wear the same pair of shoes (flats, of course) every day.

There is a time when I have to give up my heels. The highest platform shoes I have is about 4 inches but they're quite heavy.
Flat shoes is a must for shopping. High heels only for dinner and formal ocassions.
Hmm....I dont think I can bear to wear a 4 inches shoes everyday!

I have so many high heels and cannot count the number of pairs. 
Mine range from 2 1/2 - 4 inches, lol I done runway for several years ant let's say one of the beauties was to get so many clothes and shoes. I still have my perks and admit that the more free I can get the happier it makes me. lol
I can walk around in mine for hours on end with no problems. The feet hurt after I take them off. I guess that is when they begin to get the blood flowing again, lol I cannot wear flats for too long as it will cause my ankles and feet to hurt if I have to stand for long lengths of time. It is odd but so true that flats would hurt me more then high heels.
Another wonderful thing about me being able to use high heels is that my boyfriend is 6ft 5 inches tall so I cannot be taller then him. lol

I love heels. But I can't wear them. They hurt my feet after ten minutes of wearing them!
I too have bought shoes that have ended up being changed to my comfy pumps on more thsan one occasion.

I love to wear heels but I don't have enough money to buy. But if I can save I will buy a high heels for me. Well I think 2 inches is enough for me.

i draw the line for my heels and 5 inches.Over that you begin to look like a hoochie. And i never buy the heels that are boots that guy up to or past your knee. I like just regular heels/stilletos or ankle boots.But you have to take a break from them a little while or they might start to hurt like your sisters.

I absolutely cannot wear high heels. My years in marching band have completely messed my ankles up to the point wear even wearing these shoes for two minutes will be painful for me. I stick with good old-fashioned flat shoes.

I couldn't live without my flatties either! I spend too much time in the garden and walking in my town. I don't drive. So my shoes are my car. I usually wear them out completely in 6 months!

Wow , 4 inches ! I can only go for 3 inches, because it's what i am used with. But i can walk with my heels for about 3o minutes, but not for an hour. My front soles and smallest toes will hurt so much already.
So you see, the high heels could be used for only a short time. See, your sister surrendered to hurt it caused.

Hahaha! I'm not a high heels person. =P I like flats actually. More comfortable. =) If ever I have shoes with heels, it's usually only half inch. 1 or 1 1/2 is already high. I doubt I'll ever wear anything higher than that even if my life depended on it. =P

I'm tall enough but I do love wearing high heels. I went all winter wearing my 3 inch heel boots :) now, since it's warmer out it's too hot to abuse my feet so I stick to flats lol. The highest heels I have I think are 5 1/2 inches, it's SUPER rare I ever wear them considering I'd have to be going somewhere surrounded by very tall people to look a tad normal haha. This summer I plan on wearing my 2 1/2 inch high heels when going somewhere nice though. Can never have enough heels :)

* a guys point of view, High heels are sexy , as long as your comfortable. Guys will notice a woman that can wear them with confidence and can tell when a woman is struggling to stay upright or is in pain. 3 inch heels are nice, 4 are sweet 5 are for the bed room!
