I sure do wish I had lots of good news to post cause I know you all get tired of my crappy whines. Well, the biopsy showed I have tissue cancer in my breast never heard of such a thing. the doc says its not breast cancer, which makes no sense to me. tissue cancer in the breast I had cancer in before. he said I see an oncologist tomorrow, Monday, to see about a full body scan to see if its anywhere else. by the way, my friend went with me, since my son had to go pick my youngest daughter and her fiance up at the airport. and she asked the doctor what nationality he was hes Persian. the only good thing thats happened is my daughter is here with me from florida. but thats a financial bind, for they will be looking for jobs also and have no money. Just the same, its a big help to have her here.shes a lot of joy. I know its really stressing her but, shes trying to keep everyone upbeat. shes doing a lot for me and making me feel better about it all. so thats my sad report you all asked for an answer to it. thanks for your prayers. Im hoping before long, they will work. lol.

Hi bon I am sorry to hear that the biopsy came up with tissue cancer. Need not worry that you say you whine my dear friend we are here to listen and apply some humble advise when we can. I will definitely continue praying and hoping all goes well. I am glad to hear your daughter is there comforting and keep you upbeat. Sometimes it helps to laugh a little and keep your mind off of things if even for a little while. You know if I could I would be right there making you laugh also, in the interim do know that I am sending you lots hugs. I do hope the scan does not pick up anything more and also know that my prayers will be right there with you so that this time in your life can pass and all will be back to balance and smooth once again.

Oh how sweet all three of us have sweet and caring daughters. Gosh life without them would not have been the same. I do often look back and say during my single parenting days that there must have been a reason why I had her first.

I wish I could too. SOme people have post after post and I don't have that active of a life or have that many people in it to think up that many. I don't go out into the world that often either. And the negative, depressed, part of my life just isn't that exciting. Nice to hear that your daughter is there for a visit. Sounds like she is having a good effect on you. Hope to keep hearing good and positive things going on in your life.

You have beaten in the first is what I presume from your post, and I am sure that you will beat the tissue cancer too!. See the oncologist and don't miss out on the full body scan for your own safety. Children, especially grown up daughters are a great therapy - believe you me. When I lay dying due to post surgical complications, (the surgery was for the removal of multiple organs with stage IV Pancreatic Cancer) nine years ago, just a sight of my daughter (one among three children, the other two are boys, or rather men now), in the ICU was a great morale booster. She was only a child - around 13 then, but is the apple of my eye and boy! Did I start improving after I saw her or what! Today, life is back to normal and fortunately, for me, my residual pancreas are doing the job of complete pancreas and I need no medication at all of any sort. Wish you and your family all the best! Wish you all courage!

Oops, the fourth word should be “it” instead of “in” and I have missed out a word - “first “ should be followed by “time”. Hence the first sentence should read: “You have beaten” “it” the first “time” is what I presume from your post, and I am sure that you will beat the tissue cancer too! Sorry for the typos!

There is good in this. You have your daughter there and do not have to be so lonely. You are getting this tumor treated. The only tissue cancer I find online is soft tissue sarcoma. There are lots of different kinds of cancers.

I'm so sorry to hear about the tissue cancer, Bunny. I'm sure they can get rid of it, they can do wonders these days. Try to enjoy having your family around. Are they moving there? My son is in security and he says that there are many jobs in that field all over the state. You rarely start at more than $10 an hour but that's $10 you wouldn't have if you didn't work! Don't let this put you in a constant state of worry, enjoy having your family there.

I am glad your daughter is helping you out. And hope you get better. I know about weird cancers. My oldest-brother-in-law got one in his back rather then in the lungs that they expected because he was a smoker. By the way, is the fiance Persian or the doctor? Curious.

well,i had a double partial removal at 38-and reconstruction,so i know how you feel. i had a pre-cancerous condition and also staph in one,so what he might mean is it's something bad like i had,but not 'formal' cancer. i know it sucks, but one day at a time is all you can do. i'll tell you one thing-if you ever need reconstruction,do not let them take grafts from where you sit.word of truth on that one.

That is really scary! Did you find out anything more? I am a little bit behind right now so maybe you got more information yesterday. I guess that means that it isn't the same type of cells as the last time you got cancer, am I right? I just hope and pray that they will be able to get this under control soon.

I'm just glad they don't use radiation for ovarian cancer. It would be just my luck to have that happen to me. It really sucks when you aren't given full information about how long a particular treatment is supposed to continue and why it is given. I hope that they are able to get you through this quickly. Take care of yourself!

Well, I am sorry for the news you have gotten, but all I can say it that try not giving up. Cancer is not what it used to be, they can remove and cure a good amount of it these days. Do not dwell on it, enjoy your daughter and her fiancé. Besides, you can't go anywhere, you have to log into MyLot everyday and post. See, you are needed more then you know.

All your posts are great sweety, don't you worry about that. You are posting because you need to and that's ok with us. So glad your daughter is with you bringing you some happiness and maybe therefore taking the edge off your fears. Did your doctor give you any indication of what the next step will be? By the way, It's not called Persia any more, it's Iran.

Hi Bunny! Your feelings are perfectly natural for what you're going through. If there's fault anywhere, it's in the foot-dragging of the medical community in not being more forthcoming with information. Once you find out exactly what the tissue cancer (sarcoma) is, it should be relatively easy to research more information. The American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) has a wealth of information. I wouldn't look in advance though, because it would be too easy to jump to a worst-case scenario and scare yourself worse. Keeping you in my prayers, keep us informed, ok?

That is confusing. Maybe it is just the super early stage and they can fix it. I'm glad your daughter is there....hmm...Persian huh? Did he act like he was offended? I bet there are a lot of people that ask him questions...he is taking care of them and it's probably not uncommon that people want too know stuff about him,

Though I have absolutely no clue at all what tissue cancer is, I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know that having your youngest daughter there with you is going to be a tremendous help for you through everything because of the fact that she tries to be a positive person. I've been trying to be that for my husband through our whole ordeal, but I will admit that there are some times that it is very difficult to be positive.

glad he has you girl. you seem like such a great help to your family. i imagine my daughter has her times when she hides and cries. i know i did when my hubby was dying of cancer. but i tried to keep a sure face toward him for his recovery. and there was a long time i really thought he'd make it. but today, they have more and more good recoveries from all of it.
