Ok folks, please tell me, what is the difference between hating Mormon People, "Rich" People, "Poor" People, Jews, Black People, White People, Gay People, Southern People, Conservative People, TEA Party People, Liberal People, Moderate People, Muslim People, Military People, Pacifist People or any other People? It seems there's one thing that we all have in common.

This is the way liberals view people by labeling them. If they support the liberal cause they are good all others are bad. Very simple as long as everyone knows their place in the liberal society.

Yes, all liberals are the same and react as a type. Oh wait, this seems to be the exact behavior the OP was talking about. I guess you proved his point by acting in the way he described.

We all bleed red when you cut us. As the others have said, we hate because of prejudice. But right now we are being manipulated to hate one group in particular, people with money, and the rhetoric is getting a tiny bit louder every day. Class warfare is a powerful weapon, usually used by dictators to steer their sheeple in the direction they want the country to take.

No difference, because we are all people. It is important to view each person as an individual. I do not really know anyone totally free from prejudice, but it is important not to let those prejudices run your life and rule your heart. A better thing to do is to open our eyes to understanding the differences, and seeing the people there anyway.

Right, we all have prejudices, but prejudices are feelings we all have a right to. Where the line is crossed is when those feelings turn into action... or are used to justify action.

It makes no sense to hate anyone. I don't get that at all. I thoroughly dislike what some people DO but I could never hate them. I do, though, get totally ticked at politicians who try to get different groups of people fighting against each other. That's not what America is supposed to be about. And having a president who is the best divider-in-chief we ever had is not helping us one bit.

Speaking of fighting against each other, I'm an active member in a group called Rainbow Zebra. We run a home for people in recovery, and among other things, work to educate people against hate and bigotry. Two of our members resigned from the group today because I posted this on our FB wall. They took offense that I included TEA partiers, Conservatives and Mormons. Being all three, they didn't consider me "worthy" to be part of RZ. So their calls for inclusion only included those they wanted in the group.

Yes, it's wrong to paint all people with the same brush. There are rich people who are greedy, selfish, and don't care about others, but there are plenty of poor people who are greedy, selfish, and don't care about others. And I know many people with money who don't hesitate to help another person in any way they can, be it with a little bit of money, or passing along gently used (perfect condition) furniture, etc, to a poorer family who can't afford to buy their own. I've spoken to Conservatives and Liberals who don't understand a thing about politics, and only repeat what they've been brainwashed to believe, and also to members from both groups with brains in their heads and concerns for others in their hearts who just have a bit of a different idea as to how to solve the world's problems. I've spoken to people whose religion inspired them to be better, more caring, hard working people, and people whose religion hardened their hearts with hate and turned them into crusaders for evil. We must try our best to judge people only by their own words and deeds.

Hatred is hatred and if one group is not availale for a bad person's wrath then they just find another (however they justify it). Humanity should link all of us.
