On Christmas eve, I was with my parents and my younger sister. My boyfriend also joined us for Christmas eve. Today, Christmas Day, my parents, sister, my boyfriend and I went to visit my paternal grandmother. Other relatives were also there. It was really a great day! I hope you celebrated Christmas of 2011 with the people you love!

In my country Christmas is not a big festival and is celebrated by the Catholic community which is in a minority and that too quietly.Of course in the major cities everybody parties hard but there is no devotion or the xmas spirit.Midnight mass is usually held in churches and in open ground but thats about all.People are in no mood to celebrate as things are quite bad economically.I too have never celebrated christmas up to now and will probably never do so.For me it was just another day of the year.

Hi dolce_vita78, last Saturday my son called me in the afternoon saying that he was going to drive back to hometown soon. I was really happy to have him to celebrate Christmas Eve as well as Christmas together with my husband. My husband and I then busy to prepare our homemade dishes to welcome him back. We watched tv programs that many melodious christmas songs were presented the eve to welcome Merry Christmas We were invited to spend our lunch time in a nearby outlet. The environment that is so comfortable with christmas songs as background music. We enjoyed our meal in the attractive decoration of colorful christmas ornaments Have a nice day

My daughter had come over yesterday for Christmas alongwith her 2 1/2 yr old son. The three of us had a great time together. While my daughter went home at night my grandson stayed back with me and will be spending a couple of days here with me. So I will be now enjoying the next couple of days in his company.

I celebrated Christmas with my family. My mother makes a huge dinner where all of my siblings and their fasmilies come to share together. it is a good time of family and belonging together. it is a feeling that families should share the whole year through.

I celebrated Christmas together with my loved ones. We shared our food with each other. I really enjoyed it very much. I ate so much. Me and my mother also went to church. Above all, I still value that Jesus Christ is still the true essence of Christmas. I hope that may we never forget it.

Hi! I celebrated Christmas with my family. In the afternoon, I went to my friends in Manila. But we did not really celebrate. It's just that, it was our meeting place because we were going for a travel the next day. But still, it was like a celebration, too. One of us brought Christmas food.

with my husband and two girls. My uncle is coming over today. We couldn't visit my brother in New Jersey because my oldest has cheer practice all week, so that nixed all travel plans. Gotta love high school sports.

Currently being in a foreign land with no family close by, I actually spent Christmas with a family who were kind enough to invite me to their home to celebrate Christmas with them. It was a really nice time spending Christmas with them, and from the way they treated me I already regard them like my second family and I do love each and every one of them!

It's nice to know that you were able to still enjoy your Christmas despite being in a foreign land with no family close by...

I was with my close family,(mom, dad, sister, brother, 2 turtles :D) but also we met my girlfriend's family at the mess, celebrating it together. In the next few days, friends are coming, or we are going to them. Merry Christmas!

Hi dolce, I celebrated Christmas with my oldest son and his family. We had a lot of fun. Their only son is grown but Christmas morning there was a stocking stuffed for everyone and of course presents to open. We had a great turkey dinner with all of the trimmings. I talked to both of my other sons by telephone. All in all it was a good day. Boxing day was spent visiting friends. Blessings.

I celebrated Christmas with my family. We went to the church on Christmas night. My sisters birthday was too there, It was double happiness for us during that time. I wanted to go to my friends house in Christmas. But i thought she might be busy with her family and relatives so i visited her house two days after Christmas. On Christmas day we ate cakes offered by our neighbors and from our church, we too bought our own cakes and ate. In the night we ordered food from the hotel. It was the best Christmas of my life. Because my relatives are far i sent them cards through the internet otherwise i would have gone to their place and visited them.

I celebrated my christmas with my family, my father, my mother and my sister. Oh, and my dog too! It have been like this for years since all our relatives live far away from us, so, we always need to travel for like 10 hours to visit them.

dear dolce_vita that sounds great. I like it very much your boyfriend was included too and invited to your grandmas place. I spent Christmas with my husband. I got to add that this was my first really nice and beautiful guilt free Christmas and that means a lot to me. Thats what I had to turn 49 for the first really great Christmas of my life.
