I know how to make some home made salsa and my own dipping sauce for fish which is along the lines of thousand island dressing. Do you make any of your own homemade condiments? Do you make them for a specific dish or something you use with multiple foods?

My husband really likes to make his own homemade salsa because of the fact that is something that he has always been a fan of. His parents make their own homemade salsa as well. In addition to salsa, another condiment that we've made on our own is a curry sauce that is really good with smoked sausage and also with bratwurst. The last condiment that we've ever made on our own to keep on hand is pickle relish.

I make all my dressings and mixtures of condiments, but I make them the moments that I am going to use them. There are many ingredients that will have problems if they are not used in the moment. I make my own mayo most of the time, but it has to be done when you are going to use it.

I only know how to make guacomole, which a friend showed me how to make. Other than that, we don't use very many condiments - basically salsa and mayonnaise.

I use to make them, but not as often now. I'll be making more next year when I'll be putting in tomatoes to make ketchup. Also I like to juice them and of course just pick and eat.
