Where I've Been besides Here

With some of the discussions I've seen about friends leaving myLot, I want to reassure my friends I'm still here -- just not as active. Sometimes I sneak by and just read and rate some of my friend's posts without posting -- especially if I'm behind and there are four or five pages to read through. So, please forgive. I care, and that's why I'm reading your posts. Sometimes I just don't have much to contribute except the rating. I read your post from the email notifications and click through quite often. Meanwhile I've been in a blue funk -- sick for a few days here and there, busy with work some days, and very busy adding new products to my Zazzle stores -- links in my profile. I just make myself some new Quick Create Templates, so now creating products goes much faster for me. I"m learning things I wish I'd taken time to learn last year. If you love taking pictures that aren't of people, or if you are good at designs, you really should look into Zazzle if you haven't already. I'm am finally beginning to make a few dollars. The minimum payout with no service charge is $50. I think I will have one in February. I'd have on this month, but I already spent my earnings buying some of my own products and some from others. I buy greeting cards during the sales. The nice thing about Zazzle is you can make money on your hobby, and even if you don't create products yourself, you can be an affiliate and promote the products of others. I know people making some real money doing this -- like hundreds of dollars a month. I have quite a way to go before I'm there, but my goal is to get a payout every month this year instead of every three months like last year. I need to do more promotion and keep making products. It all adds up. I"d like to average $100 total a month from internet writing and Zazzle this year. I don't think more than that is realistic for the time I have to put in. I do, after all, have a book business to run and a web site to update, and a couple of blogs to add to. Are you on Zazzle? How are you doing there?

Hi Bagarad knew I had not noticed you here and thought maybe you had sneaked off on a vacatiuon. Not sure what Zazzle is. does it have to do with scrapbooking? I knit and crochet and if you see the cross stitch area here I finished April Birthstone and also put up 2 projects I am working on. So I stay very busy as I want to finish these projects this year. I am also back to kniting. I just sold 10 items on ebay that net me over 150.00 So in all I am pleased. I am getting rid of my crafts what I know I will never have time to do so it is very good way to earn a bit of money. I like making my cross stitch cards too. I like to have several to put up and have for sell they are time consuming to do but have sold them pretty easy when I kick my butt and get it in gear. Hope you make good money on this well wishes for you dear.

So far you are making more on E-Bay this year than I've made on Zazzle, which is a print on demand sales site. You can design products from art or photos you upload and then sell then on the site. You get a royalty when they are purchased, and a referral fee if you referred them to the site. You can also promote the products of others and get referral fees.

Interesting... I have signed up there, and checked out the sight a little bit, and will more as time permits. Needing to see how I can encorporate that with everything else I do and in time earn a little extra from there as well.

I'm not on Zazzle yet, but it is something that I'd love to get started with. In fact, my best friend and I have been making a list of sayings that we think would make wonderful t-shirts and things like that and I'm supposed to look more into Zazzle and start designing some things to put in a store. I really enjoy doing graphic design and I really think that Zazzle will be a great way for me to make a little bit of money off of my hobby.

Let me know when you're up and running so I can see your store. Zazzle is a lot of fun, and I will get a payout of almost $100 next month. Wish I could do that every month. Some of my friends got three figure payouts this month, but they are pros and can devote fulltime to writing and art.

Hey Now. Don't worry about having much time to come here. We will always be here. Good luck on your Zazzle store. I saw that site but right now is not the time for me to get into it. I have to dig myself out of a hole first. Once I have done that I will be taking things in a different direction myself. But I will never give up on MyLot.

I'm glad to know you're planning to stick around. I guess many people don't. I'm also in a few holes I need to get out of, so will probably make myself scarce here except for a few work breaks.

Like you, I've also been missing in action a lot these days. I have been doing a lot of packing and unpacking since late last year as I am relocating myself into my new house. Mylotting has to be shelved backstage temporarily but I do come here when am not too tired. I am not totally out of mylot world since I do read my notifications but when am physically tired my brain juices doesn't flow out smoothly which hinder my attempt to respond to the discussions here. Besides socializing in mylot and facebook I've not been anywhere else to make money online as I've not found any reliable sites yet.

Good reminder. I think I did join zazzle once and then forgot all about it! I need to get back into the habit of writing for Triond, too, as I love the residual "income" -- maybe I should cut back on the online games, rflol.

Hello bagarad. I just visited your Zazzle store but cannot totally figure out how to start there. I also want to open an account and try it. What products are acceptable in Zazzle. As far as what I've seen, mostly are printed items. Can you post products like food supplements and the likes? Thanks for sharing Zazzle. I now see another opportunity to earn online.

Zazzle is a print on demand site that lets you use your photos on the products they print to sell. They give you a royalty when one of your products you made with your design sells. If you also become an affiliate, you will get a referral fee if a product made you or anyone else who has a Zazzle store sells because someone followed your referral link onto the site. You cannot post designs you didn't create, and you can't have trademarks or copyrighted work incorporated into your designs.

People come and go. But you stayed. I hope you become successful in all of your doings. I know you will. Just believe in yourself. Have trust. I also want to be successful. That is why I am studying hard in order to get a job.

I hope your hard work at your studies does, indeed get you a job, since they are becoming so scarce. Thank you for your encouragement. I can see you are determined to succeed, and that is half the battle.

Zazzle is a lot of fun and can be addicting. You don't really start selling from your store until you've got a couple of hundred products. Some people don't make their stores visible until they've got at least two hundred products spread between a few designs. But you can start promoting the products of others right away in blogs or by joining Squidoo, which is where I do it. I should be writing a new lens right now. So start your store and let me know when it's up and running.
