I'm being trained to deal with returns at my work. And you know I've had several ladies who had the nerve to return undergarments with tags off. I dunno about you but store policies have always been they don't return under garments or swim wear without tag. One lady huffed "since when can't you return something w/o a tag" I didn't even respond to her just kept processing her return. I dunno I always thought it was common sense and the policy of EVERY store not to take things back like that because you cannot determine if it was worn or not and for hygene reasons of course. And you know that arm pit hair snagged on that one bra... was just

Some people just think that the world revolves around them and whatever they say or do just goes, no matter what. I'm sorry you had to deal with that, I for one, am glad I don't deal with returns because sometimes people can just be plain nasty. Especially if they don't know what it's like to work at a store.

That's for sure. I had a friend that used to get a dress....wear it for the occasion she wanted it for initially then return it.....I told her once I thought that was aweful. I wouldn't want to buy a dress someone else has worn either......what if they didn't use deodarent?

You could be accepting immitations or fakes into the store. Policies are there to guard against this. You could be jeopardising your job.

Sadly they take about anything back no matter how old as long as they can find a UPC and damage it out.

Tags or no tags, I thought it was law not to accept them as returns. Period.

OMG! that's nasty....and so is returning underwear. I don't think you should expect a store to take them or a swimsuit back...even with the tags.....like you said you don't know if they have been worn or not!

Tags or no tags, once a bra or underwear wore by someone, I don't imagine on why returning them back. I won't return mine if it didn't fit. It's my own fault not to realize the perfect size before purchasing. Plus it is just so gross. Germs spreading all over that garments. I'll be damned careful next time I want to purchase one of those again.

Undergarments as we all know are not allowed to fit, and of course it's not also allowed to return without the tag. What's up with that lady? LOL. For sure, she have already fitted it, and unluckily it does not fit her. LOL. Well, anyways, i think you handled it very well. Arm pit hair snagged on the bra? Oh no, you mean she has long arm pit hairs? LOL.

It's been that way for years and years. They are just trying to intimidate you into taking it back. Could be if no tags... they probably stole it! OR bought it, wore it to a party and now are returning it!

hi 3snugglebunnnies yes I always assumed you left tags on so that if ypu had not tried it on and you did at home and you found it too big or too small you could return it and exchange for the right size. did not try on some panties I got for christmas as I could see that while flattering they were way too small. so returning them was no problem.I would never wear something then return it as thats just gross. Most stores where you buy bras insist you try them on first before paying for them. this is ideal as you take home something that fits and you do not have to go through the return thing. I have returned tops where I had taken off the tag then realized the thing looked gross too big in the neck too small at the waist so did not ever try it on just returned and got a different style that I knew would fit me.

There are times that I will remove the tags from things to try them on at home, but it is never bras/underwear/bras because I know what size I need in those and I will only try those on in the store so that I won't have to worry about returning those things. That said, I know that there are times that it is difficult to return other things, even when you've got the tags with them, but they've been separated from the item that you are returning.

If it can be bought, someone somewhere will try to return it. Most do it after they've worn it a few times, claiming it's deffective. And, all the stores I know of, don't accept returns of any kind of clothing without a recept or some type of proof it hadn't been worn. And, yes there are several reasons why you can't return something obviously worn. Of course, outradged.... the person might be.... you have the right to refuse espically if it might risk someone's health.
