What's with the Loud Music?!!

Come on people! Let's get this straight! All right? If you were in my situation, how would you feel when your neighbor just get that music turn to its loudest volume to the extent that you feel the thumping impact from underneath your floors? I have to admit that this really piss me off to my very core. 
Good thing that i still managed to hold my patience when I went to tell whoever it is in that house to keep it down. Ok, he wasn't pleased of being asked to do so from that frowning look. But come on? Arent you considerate enough? It's okay to be listening to music but you don't need the whole town hear that very annoying noise! 
Have you ever experienced this yourself? How did you get that kind of people straighten up their manners?
