I got a message this am. Complications, and she is in pain, but she made it! 3 month recovery. Was so worried. When was the last time you were worried like this?

Thanks Dawn. My lungs would not inflate so was in intensive care for some extra days. Also muscles in my neck were damaged and the pain from this is horrific but I got through. First surgery unsuccessful as not even one stent could be inserted and an artery was pierced so fluid collected around heart. A week on morphine I proved the situation. Lol. Once the muscles are healed then it should be smooth sailing as the rest is just sore. Stress really is a killer. So resigned from work and now as soon as I am well will look forward to my next adventure in life. A hundred thousand thank you'd to all of you who made contact and prayed for me. Meantime the meds that I am on make me both sleepy and happy! Blessings

I`m so glad she`s out of danger, Dawn. Even if we know that pain is hard to bear, I`m glad she is recovering. We have to have patience with illness. There will be a time when Cinthia will look back at it and laugh. The worst is over.

So glad to hear she made it through my prayers and healing and thoughts still are on the way for things to keep going good... I had a relative in last October for a 29 by 8 inch cancer tumor... removed of all days on my b-day I was really worried but I knew he would be okay.. He is happy no signs of it returning and he is still sore at times but is doing very well....

thank you so much for letting me know, and I am so happy she is doing well. Last time I was worried like I was with Cynthia? I would say about 12 years ago when my sister had a heart attack. Her health wasn't good anyway from being a brittle diabetic, so this really upset me and she didn't make it..:( So you can see how thrilled I really am that our friend is okay..

Are you talking about Cynthiann? If so please give her hugs from me and tell her that she is in my prayers. I'm sorry to hear that she is in pain but glad to hear that she will be ok. When was the last time that I worried like that? There have been so many times. The last time was when my little grandson was at the babysitters and pulled a scalding cup of tea down on himself. The burns were so severe that they did not treat him here local but rushed him to the burn center 2 hours away. He's fine and being so young, recovered really quick and minimal scarring. Worrying and not being able to see for myself that he was fine was just awful.

good to hear that she's recovering now. thanks for the info dawn. i had been in hibernation again for quite some times now so i have not been so aware of the happenings with some of our friends here... the last time i got worried like this? well, it was when Zay was still suffering from apnea. that was already one and a half years, almost.

My daughter went for emergency gallbladder surgery. I was nervous because my daughter had not been in the hospital since she was born. Three month recovery is some serious and boring stuff. Pain will be a large part of time spent. I remember my recovery from surgery to remove a cyst and later a hysterectomy. No fun!

First of all, I have to say thank you for letting us all know that she was able to pull through because there have been a lot of times recently that she has been on my mind. As far as the last time that I was really worried about someone, I would have to say that it was last year when I found out that Tom had cancer. I knew that it was going to be a long and hard road, but I also had faith that he would make it through it (and he has).

I was just at Cynthiann's page and saw that she had no activity in the last 60 days. Just before I was on and off here in myLot, I already knew that she wasn't at the best of health. Hi dawn! I saw from your last input in this discussion, that you were in contact with here 6-7 days ago. I hope she's feeling better. Please send my regards, and my hope that she bounce back soon!

I am glad that Cynthia made it through although I know her recovery will be bad. As for the worrying, I am always worried especially now with my husband's health. He is Type 2 Diabetic and he has also developed a serious foot condition called Charcot's Foot (the bones in his foot are breaking and now he is wearing a CROW boot). He is unable to work in fear that it can get worse and now he will be collecting Social Security starting in August. I am not workng because I feel I need to take care of him, however my mother keeps on saying that I have to work so I can pay off her debts (she has a lot of credit card debt and lives in a house they cannot afford). On Thursday we are going to look into secion 8 housing so we can go back to having a life of our own and can start saving money again. It has been hard not working, but being with Randy and taking care of him is really important to me. I am also able to concentrate on my studies and be successful as well. The good news we did receieve today is that the swelling has gone down consideably and he is able to walk with his CROW boot. He cannot bowl, but he is able to swim and he can drive provided he rests when his foot does hurt.

How about right now? I was worried for her because she is such a lovely lady and would be terribly missed had she not pulled through. I know she was honest with us and let us know that that was a chance, and since then I had been thinking of her and praying for her. Now I know I just need to be thankful she's pulled through and praying for her recovery. My aunt's been having heart troubles herself, and so I worry about her. They switched doctor's (whole other practice from different chain of hospitals) and now they are proactively helping her.

Oh my! Hope all gets better with the complications - 3 month recovery is a while! Hope her pain goes away asap!! Worried . . . I think I'll have to give a selfish answer here. I was extremely worried about how things were going to be fixed with this house - considering our financial situation - but that seemed to have worked itself out . . . and now my new worry is about issues with my parents and sister.

Well, I was worried when my mother accused a severe headache (occurred more than 20 years ago). For 1 week, she had to take her pain, and she had to went to the hospital. No one doctor understood that cause. Lucily for her, that problem wasn't so big as it appared. Only a wind strike she remember were the cause of her's headache. So she may go home (between we, and all the family). All good everything that finished good!
