We grew in different places and get accustomed of our environment specially the changes of seasons in our country. When i was a little i always dreamed of living in a place where there is snow, make a snow ball, snow boarding and etc. I have friends who move to U.S and enjoyed the cold weather. If you are given a chance do you want a sunny place or the seasons you have in your country?

The U.S. is a big country. Not all of it has four distinct seasons. I grew up in a region that had four distinct seasons. That is what I prefer. I know this very clearly, because my boyfriend had us move to Florida for a year. I barely made it through a year of being there. While some people dream of running off to Florida, I was utterly miserable dealing with the heat, humidity, bugs, overabundance of sunshine, tornado watches and warnings (Florida gets a lot of tornadoes, but they tend not to be as severe as in some places), etc. If we ever move out of the U.S., it will be to a place that has what I consider to be a reasonable climate--somewhere like Ireland or England.

Hello. I didn't know some part of U.S is humid. Which part of U.S often experience wild fire? I saw it on Television and is it yearly? can't imagine how community cope up with the situation if it's yearly dilemma. Wow! I like Ireland, the undeveloped part, surrounded by green and simple living.

Since I came from a tropical country I would be happy to live also in a four season country.

As much as it's tempting to be in a place different from what's here in my place, I'd probably still go for a tropical country. Yes, it's hot and crazy usually, but at least there's nothing too extreme. Further, I wouldn't want to be forced to buy clothes every season because of the weather/climate change. Hehe.. Perhaps your friends are enjoying it because they're not there for a long time. But friends of mine would cry if it snows! and they have to wake up early to shovel and go to work! Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I live in Malaysia on the Equator. There is no 4 seasons. All years round it hot sunny and humid. But we install air-conditioner in offices and houses. I remembered during our holidays in Europe where we stayed in Austria. We checked in at night at a hotel there was no snow. The next morning we had breakfast and we saw snow first time in our life. Everyone of us rushed out, adults behaving like kids making snowballs and throwing at one another like what we saw in movies. It was an unforgettable experience. I could prefer to live in country with 4 seasons.

For past six months I have accustomed to some different climate from ours. When I was there at first it has very cool climate and at night time it dropped to Zero too. I got scared. Now it is sunny summer there. I have to say it is hotty summer and it even reaches 50 C at day time. I can't bear that. Now I understand we are in heaven when compared to other places having such extreme climates. Only we can enjoy those climates as a tourist. But living there is something hard to do.

I would want to live in a country that has four seasons. Currently, I am living in a tropical country and I want to experience four seasons for a change. I would also like to try wearing boots and trench coats. I feel that I miss out since I do not live in a country that has four seasons.

I would definitely agree with what you said. We obviously get to adapt to the environment where which we have grown and the different climates or weather that we get to experience in those places would also influence our habits in particular times of the year. Then, you can consider people who move to a different place that also has a different set of climates, weather or seasons. They eventually get to have different habits as well as they adapt to the changes that happen in their new environment as well. Also, there are a few people who tend to go to different places due to health reasons. Like one needs fresh air or the cold climate in a particular area just makes their conditions a but difficult to have. To answer the title question, if I were able to choose, tropical or four seasons, I honestly have to say tropical since that's the condition that have grown to know, but I wouldn't mind experiencing some of the seasons that other countries would experience every time as the years go by. Well, after our winter two years ago, I'd LOVE to live in a tropical country. We got a total of over eight feet of snow that winter. The first snowfall gave us about 30 inches of snow and we had to shovel out our driveway which is at least 100 feet long and on a hill. We did not have a snowblower at that time, either, but it was right before I ordered one. lol Snow is pretty and it can be lots of fun but when you get a lot of it at one time, it's no fun! I knew one man who had a heart attack while shoveling snow from his sidewalk. Granted, he had a bad heart but I'm not sure he would have had that heart attack if he had not been shoveling snow. When I was younger it was not a problem. We had one winter where we had three snowstorms within two weeks which left us with over five feet of snow on the ground. It was my job to shovel the sidewalk and it was not fun! At least I was a lot younger than I am now and had the energy to do it. Besides, I LOVE tropical fruits so living in a tropical country would be ideal... for me.

I have always lived in a deciduous area and I like certain things about all four seasons of the year and for that reason alone, I really don't think that I would ever be able to live in an area where they did not experience all four seasons. Though I would like to have the opportunity to live in an area where the changes in temperature don't swing as wildly as they do here, I really don't think that I would be able to stand losing out on spring, summer, fall and winter during the year.

In India we experience all the seasons, there is snow in the Himalayas, its always showers in the eastern region, desert in the western part, well this mixture is very good. I love all the seasons and all have its own advantages and disadvantages.

Since I have always stay in a tropical country, I would like to spend some time in a country and experience the feeling of the four season. I would like to see snow and the ground covered in whites and also the grass growing again in spring. So until I have experience it, it is impossible to say which I prefer.

I would want to live in a tropical country if I could. I hate the cold weather and I don't like driving in all that snow. I wish that we had the money to take a trip or go away when the weather is bad. Now that I think about it I should try and plan some of our vacations to go away when it's cold. I would love to go on a cruise so I probably should schedule that when it's winter time.

The four seasons, of course. I live in Malaysia and I've never experienced snow. Looking forward to the time when I finally have the chance to play with the snow. Having cold weather is better in several ways.. that's when hot chocolate drink does the trick.. so warm and snuggy! When it's hot you just need an air conditioner.
