I agree with you. English is just a second language in our country. when i started here, i thought that it will really be hard for me to communicate with members but i was wrong.everyone seems to be very kind and very helpful. they walk me through the site and guide me in all of my concerns. as i mentioned to one of my responses, before i can only write one to two sentences, this time i can write two to three paragraphs and I'm proud of it. it is with the help of mylot and mylot members.

So true about the English language. It is my second language as well and I started not that well but I have picked up the pace and the typing speed has also become faster than ever . i am loving it here. very helpful people. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

I can't wait for the day when I will officially be an old aged pensioner and can legitimately be here as much as I want. Right now I am unemployed and shoudl be working (but there are no jobs available) and I feel sort of guilty when I am here instead of working. Once I am on the pension the day will be mine to do as I please with it and that will mean a lotof myLot!

I hope too that I will have the spirit and the stamina to be like Hatley. She is so busy despite being so much older than the rest of us and I find her absolutely amazing!

I thought you are having a small business? It would take sometime for me to become a pensioner and I am not sure if I am still reaching that age?lol

with the kind of living that I am doing right now. I worked in a call center and usually works at night and most of the time I only sleep three or four hours after my work because I do mylot and other stuff.so I am not sure if I will be reaching that age. I am just 27 right now.so many years to wait, but given a chance, maybe I will be like hatley, i will be staying also here and post all day long.i hope I get to keep my laptop until I grow old.lol

I did have my own business decades ago when I was married but since then I am (or should be) an employee. I can still remember when you were looking for work and then you found your job and then you disappeared. You must sleep though too, especially if you want to grow old here

very few businesses stay so long in the market. but knowing you, i know how you handle things. no wonder you were able to handle a business. is it still working now? i mean, are you still into it or you just work online as of this moment. you were really able to monitor my life here.lol

i was so very busy that time with my offline stuff but this time I was able to manage my time and hopefully i can continue this habbit. it is 12 midnight here. maybe i will be sleeping in two hours time.lol

i still have different discussions to respond to.

Yes it does sound like a corny statement from an old movie, but that does not detract from it's sincerity. I know exactly what you mean by this because despite the fact that most members joined due to the income opportunity, it soon becomes something else. Mylot is a not just a discussion site but a community, which allows us to socialise. The great number of members here also makes it easy to find people with similar interests and interact with each other to exchange ideas and opinions. It also offers a great platform for advice on a myriad of subjects.

Other members started here because they want to earn some extra bucks. honestly, that was main purpose before but as the days and time goes by, i forgot that it is already pay out and meet my minimum and wait for the next 15 days for cash out.I agree that this is not just a discussion site, this site that you get to mingle and meet people from different walks of life with different beliefs and culture.

Its great to be here, I know. As far as I am concerned I am one of the few oldies left who is still in love with mylot. It is rare for me to stay this long as I get bored easily when i find no compatibility with the site. Mylot has given me a comfortable cushion to stay put without even realizing that i have overstayed my tenancy in mylot. I thought if i have gone that far and have enlarged my circle of friends with the kind courtesy of mylot then I might as well continue my journey of no end in mylot.

Oh my! You remember well who and who are MIA. Much as i wish to participate in the discussions but I am so pissed off with my Samsung whenever I need correction the cursor become jumpy resulting in some words being deleted. Retyping the whole lines of words can be time consuming as I've forgotten what I've just written. But when i am in my best element I have all the patience to control my fingers chasing after the tiny alphabets in the small screen.

Yeah, i always remember who responds on my discussions or not and i was surprised after seeing your name.and came to realized that, this guy have not responded to my discussion in a long time. I actually do not want to do mylot in the mobile. i really find it hard browsing the site,and it is really hard for me to type because its an i phone.

I'm sosrt of afraid to do that I might find out that my new discussions are the same as my old ones. Or that the old ones show a person I don't remember at all. But I, like you are here to stay as long as they let me.

I don't comment on my responses that I get, so many of them are basic and the same. If one catches my attention I will take time to respond. I do read them all and rate them. I try to make one new discussion each day and read all the discussions that come into my e-mail from friends.

I was able to sort my old discussion and I found out that my first discussion got a zero response. I just laughed. I realized that i am not so ready that time to write a better post or discussion. this time I've noticed that I already grow up.i am getting several responses now and sometimes getting tired of responding to all the responses.lo

but coping up with it.it seems that you are really active in the site because of the number of your posts i can see beside your avatar. do you prefer responding rather than initiating your own post?

There were a few here that were here for years,but I have not seen them in recent time.

As well as you I have been here when I was depressed or frustrated and due to the computer or internet access down I was not here.But,I do love it here(most of the time) and will stay here for years as long as myLot stays up and running.

We have the same idea, as long mylot permits me to stay here I will. I will be more careful with my post so I won't be violating any guidelines of the site. this site has been my oulet and my shock absorber everytime that i am down.the members were very supportive. you we really feel them and you were really feel that they are concern with your problems as if they were your friends.i will be here as long as i am capable of writing.lol

I feel very much the same wishing to stay on wonderful My Lot for the rest of my life. I think back with a smile to that first day that I became a member of excellent My Lot. I try to go onto My Lot every day that I can. I find it enjoyable to join in with the other members of lovely My lot in the interesting discussions. It was 2007 when I first joined superb My Lot. It is now 2012 and I will keep on being a very happy member of excellent My Lot.

hi rberon I am stuck here for the rest of my life and really it is not that cheap pay 40.99 per month for my cable internet but my mylot earnings helps me a lot to keep it paid up. I am so happy be mylotting and its saved my life in a way as I felt so lonely and so useless when I was forced to retire at age 80. this has given me new enthusiasm

When I get stuck on a site, I sure get stuck and tend to stay on a long time. But, as cool as that is for a while, eventually things happen or I just get plain disinterested and then I end up leaving. But I sure haven't felt that way about myLot! Life does take over at times and we can't always be here, but it's good to know that we can come back here when we are able. I always want to jump back into myLot again when I have that spare time. The only thing is, I hope myLot will stick around when we are old and gray too. Recently I found out one of the sites I go to decided to call it quits . . . I don't know why, but it happens. I hope myLot is thriving and that it never leaves . . . but I can understand that even myLot may have to retire sometime. But for now, while we CAN enjoy it, let's enjoy myLot for as long as we can!

It is just like an ordinary relationship, when you are happy with your partner, you stay and do the best that you can for you not to be apart. on the otherhand, when you feel like you are no longer happy and you feel thay he. she is not your destiny, you ask him/her to do a separate way. it is also similar here, as long as you enjoy the site, as long as you are having a good relationship with the admin, as long as your doing the right thing, there is no reason for you to leave. as what i told the other members, as long as the members allowed me to here, i will be here.

just to clarify, i think you were the second member who actually misinterpreted it. I don't find the site as cheap. I find my idea as cheap as to be here until I grow old but I am now proud of it since a lot of members has supported me on that idea especially members who've been here for five years. they went out of their shell just to share what they want to tell us about the site.and according to them, they will stay until the admin allow them to stay. i am having the same thought with them. we just continue to follow the guidelines of the site. happy mylotting!

Hey there! I have been in and out of mylot for 3 years now. And despite the fact that I have so many other things to do offline, I always make sure I come by here if I have the time. In fact, I have thousands of email notifications from mylot from over a year ago until now from my friends started discussion and I really hesitate to delete them without reading first because I feel like I have never been away from mylot and that I am always posted of what is happening with my friends in mylot even if I am not online. Anyway, just like you, I don't see myself quitting mylot, I wanted to stay in in as much as possible and in as long as forever if this site still exists in forever. Hope to be seeing more of you around just like those two amazing members you have mentioned. Have a good one and let's spend forever in mylot all together!

I must admit that it does make me happy to see those I used to call "old-timers" still hanging around, and in fact ever as active as before. I can name a few that I could remember, but I guess most of you already know them, so I think there's no real need for that. Anyway, I have been here for quite some time now, on and off though, and like you, I could say that it's definitely okay for me to grow old with mylot as part of my life.

Do not exclude yourself, you are also one of the "old-timers" here. I've also noticed that old members here are still very active. It only means to say that they really love the site so much and they are very happy to be here.As what I read from other's response, they will stay as long the admin wants them to be here and as long as mylot is not retiring soon, I'm sure it won't happen. the site is already established.

I don't feel cheap... anyway I am here at myLot not for my living, but to make friends, discuss anything and make extra bucks... it's not cheap at all because greater amount comes from a single cent. But honestly there are times that I feel boring here, yeah no discussion to respond that attract me... but sometimes too I am really eager to discuss and participate! Anyway, I will use my mylot earning for my other online investment, and like you I want to grow old here!

I can say that I have no reason to leave mylot just yet. It is a site that I am benefitting from right now. On the day I no longer reap the benefits of mylotting, I won't. I am just having thoughts and putting them out there. It is also helping my brush up on writing and spelling, not bad. I am always looking to have an intelligent conversation. Sometimes mylotting helps.

This reminds me of something I said to a mylotter in the past. I said something like if I go missing from mylot, it only means I've become very busy offline or I've become really, really rich. I hope it's the second one.

But then, mylot is more than an earning site to me. MyLot has heard all my sorry tales from my grief to my frustrations, from my excitements to my joys. I think that I would like to grow old with mylot, too and still come here when I need to speak my mind. There are many senior mylotters here who I don't see anymore and miss, but, there are always the new ones to befriend. I see myself staying for good.
