mylot is shutting down on the 30th Oct!

What a mean trick you just played!!! But I'll answer the question anyway... I would use the time to read books, and do some writing...all kinds of things.

Man, you really got me on this one for just a second there. I would be so utterly depressed, but I know that my life would be able to go on. It wouldn't be the first time that a website that I had come to love had shut down. I suppose if mylot was to be gone forever, I would fill the time that I typically spend on here with other earning sites of some sort. There are some that I have had pretty good luck with and I guess the only option that I had would be to double up my efforts on those other sites so that I would still be able to have the same income that I am used to having.

I would move on with life , spend more time on my blog etc . There is nothing we could do to stop it . I only spend 3 hours here a day , I would go back to my other social forum also .

Hi ajk! I don't want to hear the same joke again! I know I am new in this site yet I feel that I could never let a day pass without it. I already considered myself as myLot addict. Oh, I don't want to think about it. I would feel so sad.

That's NOT even funny! Been having problems with the internet and having problems with mylot, so was starting to get frustrated with not making any money. But my life would still go on even if mylot would shut down for one day! Survived not being on mylot for about a week because didn't have internet connection, so one day without mylot would be a piece of cake!

I'd feel bad. I mean, I just joined the site:)

haha even if it was shut down I won't have any gap in my time to fill! But I would surely try to persuade all my friends to give me their alternative contact means. Because it'there activity on here I like so much to see. It feels like family. Nevertheless I will feel sad if this site is gone. It is such a good platform...

hi ajk oh help you and your sense of humor lol What wou ld I do ? probably go downstairs and play bingo or read some of the books I would like to read and hope mylot would soon open again. I wou ld feel frantic as I depend on what I earn to at least pay half of my monthly internet cable bill from Time Warner.40 dollars and 99 cents why they do not just call it 41 dollars is beyond me. lol.

You big meanie! Ha ha. Let's see, I couldn't possibly be here any more than I am now. So I guess I'd at least make a huge effort to make it to payout. Let's make it worth it, right? Then I'd try to get email addresses from some of my myLot friends - so maybe we can keep in touch. Maybe I would finally come out of my anonymity here and tell people to find me on Facebook as some have been wanting to anyway. I'd actually feel pretty bummed. This is one site I would like to hang around as long as I can . . . not just for the moola, but for chatting away! They better not take my daily party away from me! But then again, without myLot, I'd probably get a lot more things done around here ! P.S. Nice new profile pic!

Dear ajk Life moves on with things which are already written down. So I guess, it will move on no matter MyLot exists or not or whether I like it or not... We cannot do anything about it but yes, maybe I will try to duplicate this idea and set up my own site where all MyLotters can migrate to

What caught my eye was the date - 30th Oct! Why did you pick that day? That's my birthday. But, if it did shut down, I would probably join a few more survey sites and spend more time on job search sites looking for a job (offline job). Anyway, I'm not responding to this discussion because ravi said these types of hypothetical questions are not allowed in discussions.

Haha, seriously, I actually went "WHAT???" for a minute there :P A real concern if that happens, I would not know where else I'd find a online community of like-minded people to have fun with :D Glad it's not true. If it is, I suppose I'd actually do some chores around the house, lol!

This won't happen. Well, what will I do? I'll listen to music while reading a book. Browse the internet and research. I would also look for a site like this but mylot is one of a kind.

Mylot has stood the test of time and has no reason to close shop when they are enjoying the support of the world population. Mylot is here to stay.

Geez,you gave me a darn heart attack! It's bad enough that Multiply is closing down, and I have to save all my family blogs before I lose them. Yikes... Life would go on, I guess, but I'd make sure I had e-mail addresses for all my people on here that I had no other way to contact. Bad, don't do that again. (glare) lol

Mylot is not the only site where we can spend our time. But I don't want to think that mylot will shutdown- never ever. Mylot is far different from other site and I just don't know what is internet life for me if that happens.

I will be as cool as a cucumber.Worse things have happened to me. Things have been snatched from my hand as I was busy at them and this is no big deal for me. I will survive!
