Wake up and go to bed!

I just went into the roomie's room and did that! I went in and she was sound asleep in her chair. So, I made her wake up. I put her drops in, and went off to torture cats. Went back a few minutes later and had to help her take off her support socks, her arm was aching from doing too much this weekend. I think we are all going to bed early. Still, I think its funny to have to wake her up to make her go to bed. Have you ever done that? How about being awaken to go to bed?

I am hard pressed to go to sleep in any way not laying down, so this isn't a problem I have! But I just woke up the roomie to send her to bed!

if she had been in the recliner I'd've left her alone, but I didn't figure her neck would like to spend the night in her desk chair with her arms crossed and her legs still in her support hose... As it was, I had to help her get her hose off because her arms were hurting...

I am often the one who needs to be woke up to go to bed. I should be in bed now, in fact. Sometimes I am not asleep, I am just too tired to do the routine. I have had to wake hubby up and send him to bed as well. He will nod off in front of the TV or with a book.

I'd let her sleep if she were laying on a couch or in the recliner, but in her desk chair... nope... I've got so many problems going to sleep that I can stagger around for an hour because I'm that tired, but won't go to sleep until I hit the bed.

Gee, that happened to me Saturday night! I was asked to teach a jewelry making class (it's the first time I EVER taught a class!!! I was nervous to say the least!) I had to be up by 7:45 a.m. to leave by 8:30. I didn't sleep well the night before so by the time I got home and finished making dinner for Bill and me I was exhausted!!! I cleared the table, sat down on the couch, leaned my head on Bill's shoulder and fell asleep instantly. Bill had to wake me to go to bed ("Wake up and go back to sleep!!!" ) I got in bed and fell asleep again and slept until 9 a.m. Oh, and the class went very well! I had a great time teaching my class and the people will be inviting me back to teach another class.

I was wondering how your class went. I got together with a couple of friends who wanted to learn to peyote stitch and we had a very nice afternoon. I skipped lunch at the Chinese place - well, I went, but only had iced tea. I think they got the lesson and when I left the one was already well into starting another bunch of beads.

Out of curiosity, have you tried doing the beaded ornaments? I have a couple of books on doing beaded Victorian style ornaments plus have downloaded patterns for others, it's been a challenge to find any time to try the projects. I'm hoping after the elections and after I've done my fall house cleaning I may be able to sit quietly and give it a try. I didn't know that you beaded! That is soooo cool! Do you just do seed beads or do you do other beading? Maybe you can post pictures of what you've completed...provided you're not like me and either sell or give the end results away before your brain kicks in and you think about a picture.

Yes, I've awakened my husband more than once to ask him if he'd not be more comfortable in bed. I don't go to sleep that easily. Maybe, that's because I'm always busy .

I don't either, but I don't blame it on being busy, I blame it on the fact that I've always had trouble going and staying asleep!

I can't slepp in my bed all night or at all. I just can't thanks to being morbidly obese and having acid reflux disease! Some night I will sleep the whole night in my recliner! Some nights I will sleep in bed but usually for only a few hours. I should be sleeping on my back but so far I have not been able to due it! I either get a sore back or sleep on my side! The acid reflux bothers my sinus's so when I sleep on my side I wske up,most of the time, with headaches. So when it is time for sleep I do it in my recliner watching tv and spend a time in bed,if I feel like it.

I've had a little acid reflux, but so long as I don't eat late I don't have too much trouble with it. I can't sleep on my back, it makes the front of my right thigh go to sleep and that has turned into a very painful problem that nobody can explain to me. We've checked to see if its caused by nerves, but they didn't discover that to be a problem, I just sleep on my sides and have since the early 1980's.

Hi ElicBxn, I wake my husband up from his bed at time. He is in his shorts and singlet instead of pajamas. He wouldn't be comfortable if sleeping like that the whole night. furthermore he hasn't brushed his teeth yet. Yeah, he sometimes would lie in bed for a short rest before bedtime due to the hard day work. he thinks that I wake him up in the morning usually I'm glad that the disturbance doesn't make him feeling sulk Have a nice day

Yeah, we put on appropriate clothes sleeping depends the weather. If it's scorcher I always wear short or sleeveless tshirt and short pants. Certainly with both the table fan and air con on There's time the air con didn't work I need the couch I then could fall asleep. I would wake up myself and dropped in the comfortable bed in the wee hours due to the cold caused by the heavy rain

I spent the whole summer sleeping under a window unit ac with only a night shirt, a sheet between my legs and a pillow... Oh, forgot the cats, but they only stayed until I fell asleep, then they moved off my body to stay cooler too...

That sort of thing generally happens when one is in the hospital... "Wake up! It's time to take your sleeping pill."

that's never happened to me, but then again, I can't take sleeping pills, so they waited until I begged for a pain shot to give me anything!

If I had thought she'd be comfortable where she was in her desk chair, I'd've left her, but I figured if her neck wasn't already going to bother her, it would if I left her there. I'm honestly not one to wake up a sleeping person if they 1) are comfortable and 2) safe. But she would've been very uncomfortable if she slept too long like that and, while she was safe enough, she might've had a problem because legs or arms might lose circulation and that could be a problem...

Lately, it seems that my daughter is having to do that for me more and more. Actually I am usually in the bed but I have my command center so to speak so I have lots to do from the bed. I have my computer here and my crochet. My notebooks that I write in and magazines and books to read. Then there is study projects. But all though I am in bed there is a lot of things that I do before I go to sleep; or I should say while I am going to sleep. Sometimes I fall asleep with my hands over my head. When I do that it causes all kinds of pain and stiffness in my arms and shoulders. Anyway, my daughter has started coming in to make sure I have put the computer away and tucks me in. Strange how the roles have reversed.

I can't make my bed the command center like that - the cats, ya know. I've also never really been one that drops off to sleep easily.

When spot was still with me she used to get up on the bed with me and all my stuff. She would lay at my feet until I finished then when I put everything up she would come up and lay on my stomach. I have got to get me a new kitty friend. sigh.

My ex used to fall asleep on the couch watching tv. Sometimes I would wake him up and tell him to come to bed. I have a thermostat that goes down at night, so in the winter, he would get pretty cold. If it was summer I would just turn the tv off and let him sleep.

You could throw a blanket over him and have him come to bed if he gets cold and wakes up.

It happened to me too. I woke my children who happened to sleep in the sofa and let them go to bed. I was also awakened for me to go to bed. A bit funny!

I use to be like this when I worked midnights. I use to be a walking zombie when I was on midnights. I use to fall asleep anywhere and everywhere, then someone wake me up to go back to bed.

I've had to wake people to go to bed and have been woken up to go to be before. I have a tendency to get all snuggled on the couch with my boyfriend and pop in a movie. Its fairly common for one of us to fall asleep and have to wake the other up to go to bed. But its either that or go to bed by yourself while the other person sleeps on the couch which seems kinda messed up.

I have to say that to my husband all the time, when he falls asleep in his computer chair. LOL I can listen to his voice, and tell when he's getting tired, and yet the stubborn old guy decides to keep on working at the computer. Before long he's asleep in his chair with his head on the keyboard. LOL

I regularly have to be woken up to go back to sleep! I'm normally in bed already, but tend to go to sleep wearing all my clothes etc because I've been reading and need to be woken up to be told to get undressed.

The darn cats won't let me read in bed, but when I do try, I always change first! Now, I'll lay down fully dressed for a nap, but that's a different kettle of fish...
