I bought the last gift today... a sterio my son wanted for xmas. i got free shipping so with the 40% discount I got it alot cheaper online than buying for him and shipping it to the usa. Im so proud. Im all done, and got everything I wanted to buy for my family. How is your xmas shopping going?

I started today, and hoping to get it done in the next few weeks. I just buy for the 6 brats, do up stockings for them. I will be going to Petsmart most likely next week to finish it off for them. I got my present for my contribute to the family gift exchange. Now for 2 friends at scrapbooking and I will be done.

I'm almost through. I have to find something for my son in law who has everything he wants and another small thing for my daughter, then I'm through. Of course, that's unless I think of something else. I might get another stocking stuffer or two for the baby, but that depends on if I find anything unique.

Um...I've barely started with my shopping. I'm still hopeful that when I get back on Saturday, I'll be able to make a bunch of gifts in a week. At the end of week, I'll see what I have done and go shopping from there.

I have had my List ready since this summer and made adjustments to it occasionally.
Here, we get so many specials that one does not really have to "shop around" for deals; they're there, in our faces LOL I plan on going around the end of the first week of December and get everything possible on my list. If I can not find everything I will go again some other day.
What I do not like about all this is the wrapping. So many gifts, so many tags, so many bows yuk!
But the best part of all is seeing their faces when they open a gift which is something they really wanted, not some last minute box of chocolates lol

I have not started with the bulk of my Christmas presents, Marìa. The thing is that most of my presents are things I make, mostly food. So it has to be done in the moment. I make relishes (that can be done in advance and I`ll get some ingredients next time I go to the super), jams (I have to wait for the apricots to ripen). I will only give presents to the youngest grandchildren and that is taken care of. The main work for me will be done the two days before Christmas. My gift for the whole family will be making the Christmas diner for everyone. That`s a lot of work as there will be lots of people.

I`m thinking of cold cuts with salads, cake for desert and many cupcakes before diner so that the children don`t get hungry. The cupcakes will be decorated by Vicente, aged 9. All will be done at my house. I don`t want to think about the mess

I am almost done. I have to get a few more things for my kids and my father, which is the hardest person to shop for. He always says he does not want anything. I have to figure that one out. Other then that I am done. Enjoy your christmas Maria. I hope you have a good holiday.

Actually, besides a Gift card or two, I think I am done now as well. I don't really have that many people to shop for anymore so getting stuff is pretty easy. But I agree with you, a lot of times you can find items online cheaper that buying them somewhere else, and this time of yr., there are some Great deals with the shipping as well.

I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet.Not enough money yet.I need to get stuff for my teenage daughter,she needs a laptop and small(not expensive)digital camera for school mostly.She also needs clothes.I have 2 adult sons that I need to get a little something for and 4 granddaughters that I need to get something for and if I can scrape up enough money I will get my mom and uncle(like a father to me)presents.
Please do not say XMAS,that is taking Christ out of His own birthday.

Wow, it seems that you no longer have any worries as to what gift and who to give it too. That is obviously my problem when it comes to Christmas gift giving. I really find it hard to decide what gift to give. Anyway, I do have some special items ready for some of my friends and love ones. But still, its is long way ahead. I think I am still right on track as Christmas is still weeks away...

I'm quite done. I'm just going to go theatre ticket shopping for my parents and boyfriend, but I have to wait until December to see what's gonna be on the play in January :). Oh, and I'm gonna make a sock monkey for my boyfriend and my best friend... I just have to practice and learn, because I've never made one in my entire life :).

Wow, impressive! If I had seen deeper discounts around here, I'd have done the same thing. Saw a few good ones for black Friday, but not with shipping. It seems retailers are holding out till it's close to Christmas before launching really good sales.
