Our party here in the head office will be this coming Friday.Usually we do have overall Christmas party with all our branches but its so time consuming to some branches who are quite far in the city. So we decided and talk about that we will wear something red during our Christmas party on Friday and its also birthday of one of our colleague. And red seems to be one of the color of Christmas as they says. Do have themes in your party?

I wore a lovely long red dress and white fake fur jacket ot my husbands work do... everyone called me Mother Christmas. My outfit came from from the charity shop and cost me £20. In the shops it would have cost three times that price

hi there ardoy0731! red seems like a good choice as the color to wear in your christmas party. i hope you guys had a blast. anyway, one of the parties that i attended to had a 1950s theme. a lot of the guys wore suits and came as gangsters. name it, from sonny corleone to dillinger to al capone to bugsyup to even the local asiong salonga, everyone was in character. i decided to go a different route and come to the party as danny zuko, the character that john travolta played in the movie 'grease'. i was able to purchase a wig ( i sport a bald do, hence the need for a wig) and i donned a crisp white shirt, my trusty black dkny leather jacket (i had to cover the dkny logo with the name tag that they distribute during the party as i don't think they had dkny's during the 1950s), a pair of worn-out levis pants, and a two toned winged black shoes. needless to say, i won the best dressed male award for the night. sweeeeeet!!!! cheers and happy mylotting!

Oh great that you won best dress. During our last overall Christmas party with all our branches our them was 80's. We are all in the 80's customes and even our presentations was 80's inspired as well. Great experienced and lots of fun. Nice to have themes since we have chance to try things that we done used to do during workdays.

We have never done a theme here at work when we do our Christmas parties. All we ever do here is have a party with food for everyone and they also give most everyone a $150 bonus. I think it would be too hard trying to coordinate a theme.

Yeah quite hard to coordinate especially if employees are quite many. There are still few who dont wore red but majority of us did so it still great and cool to see us wearing red. Nice to know that you have got bonus. We also have lots of food and have take home cash as well.

The only theme event I see myself going to this year, is Canada Day in Ottawa, to which everyone will wear red and white, to go with the colours of the Canadian flag. I am lucky in that I have a lot of red and white clothes because those ae my favourite colours, and the colours of both of my national flags, as you can see from my icon.

Oh that will be really fun and everyone will surely enjoy during Canada day there. Have a great time and have a blast that day. Most of the Christmas party themes that I saw on some social network sites were cosplay wherein some people really exerted efforts to portrayed anime or personalities that they wanted.

White and red... that's what me and my roomies decided to wear on the eve of Christmas. It's gonna be only us roommates who will celebrate. No party at work because my colleages and company owner is of different religion

I love the colour red! For some reason wearing red gives me more confidence. Red is warm and radiates happiness. At one place I worked, we were encouraged to make our own hats and the winner would win a prize, sadly not many people made the effort, I did I spent one evening making a hat, but I didn't win, but it's the taking part that counts I guess. Enjoy your party!

I enjoyed our party as well as the other. Lots of laughters and fun. Red really shows lot of meaning to people and how other interpret this color. Happiness, love, fierce, courage and other characteristics or traits that people might associate to it.

I prefer to wear green than red. Red is always a sign of love. Red is not my favorite color at all. Actually, blue is my favorite color. Green can identify as christmas. I will green t-shirt for my group competition duting our christmas party this saturday. Wearing black is not good. Well, enjoy your christmas party there.

Yeah black is quite off for this season. I also like blue but red will do to me as well. Green is not that much but I do have one or two green clothes.

That sounds fun! We do not have any kind of dress code at my company's Christmas Party, although most people dressed up and I definitely did not see anyone in their uniform, which was nice. It's always fun to see employees outside of work, outside of their uniform. It's a refreshing change! Have a good work party!

Well i think its our first time to have same color of clothes for the party. Maybe the fact that it just in the head office party. But during overall party before together with our branches we used to have themes of the party which we can base what to wear. Even the presentation of each branches are really enjoy and fun.

You can be creative when it comes to color because when everybody is going to wear red and nothing else, then it would look boring or monotonous. Christmas is a celebration of many colors so maybe the other branches can also wear other colors so when you come together there would be burst of different colors.

Our party was just for us in the head office. Our branches do have their own branches since we dont have overall party this time since some branches are quite far from watch each others.

Well that's a great idea. We have themed parties during Christmas as well. Before we used to wear pants with santa's face printed like polka dots on it. Well we bought it as our costume for the party and it comes in different sizes we selected them to make sure it would fit our visitors. Thats it. Happy mylotting

Well having theme during Christmas party could help somehow so some people will be out of place or over with their costumes. At least everyone are quiet comfortable with each other since all are in theme. It also shows unity and cooperation.

For sure we will have a great time in our party tomorrow. Red indeed looks happy and positive. It seems that all agreed with this color. But what important is that we are complete tomorrow, having fun, enjoying the party and each others company. The foods makes me crave as well.

Well, I've never been one that will wear themes to parties and I actually typically feel pretty funny when I do join in with a theme for a party. So when it comes to the Christmas celebrations that we are going to be having in the next several days, I have to admit that I will probably not be wearing red or green at all. I'm planning on wearing the dress that I bought for myself in November that I wore to my cousin's wedding because it is a nice outfit and I should get some use out of it.

Some years back when I worked for large international company the theme for the Christmas party was red and black. About 500 employees attended and it was really nice. Nice venue, nice food, nice entertainment, nice prizes, and just an overall nice party.

Hi! Red is the color of Christmas as well as green. We had a chritsmas program last week and we all wore red blouse and white pants. Before we had red blouses and black pants and some people said that the colors of our clothes were beautiful then. That would be fun when all are wearing red. It is Christmas anyway. Have a nice day!

At my husband's office Christmas party last week, they all were in on a secret. And I wasn't. I did not know until someone suggested that my husband and I, as well as my daughter and her boyfriend get together for a family photo at this party. (Relatives were invited to my husband's office party.) My daughter didn't know about the secret either. This secret was a surprise - a homecoming surprise. My oldest son is serving in the military. At my husband's office Christmas party - they all surprised my daughter and me with my son sneaking up behind us, as we were having our family photo taken. Someone said to us - turn around and there was my son, who I haven't seen in a long time. My daughter and I cried as we hugged my son - and her brother. So, that was the theme of my husband's office Christmas party - a surprise military homecoming. It was a very wonderful Christmas party theme.
