Are you over-scheduled?

I think I have too many things on my plate right now - I am working almost full time, my husband works full time, and my son has preschool (one day a week), Mother Goose class, gymnastics class, and Multisports. We also do a playdate once a week, dinner with my parents once a week, etc. I'm finding we have no time to just sit and hang out together. (Although a lot of that comes from the fact that whenever I'm home, my husband is at work, and vice versa). How do you make more time?

Im that way every day here. I make a list of all I have to do here each day. i almost never get all of them done here. i need my days to be 36 hours rather than just 24. So Im over schedules everyday here.

My todo lists get pretty long, too. I've kind of given up on the idea of ever being done.

I feel the same way as you do.. seems I just carry things from one days list to the next.

Maria, same like you my day seems not enough for me to accomplish my daily matters. Seems like, i will need to re-schedule my daily list, to be able to solve them one by one. But, unsure when able to complete them, that's why i am spending less time in here...

I am currently sooooo free. My schedule book has been empty for the past weeks. I am waiting for some calls and paperwork to arrive since I just moved here, and I have done all the moving and the setting up part. I can't wait to become busy again.

It's funny how when you're busy, you just want free time, but it would also be hard to have nothing to do. I hope all your paperwork arrives soon so you can get going.

We make time for ourselves on the weekends. Hubby works and I don't but he does have the weekends off. We are fortunate in that aspect. We make sure to spend time together on the weekends. I think you should probably decide which of your activies is the most important and which you could possibly let go.

I really do think that one of the most important things that we need to do in order to have more time to relax with our children is that we really do need to limit the number of activities that our children are involved in. For my children I will allow them to do one sport and one other club at a time. That will typically mean that we will have up to four evenings a week that are booked, but we will still have two or three evenings a week that we are able to spend together as families.

I know it happens some time. I just try to do more faster to produce some time. Its good if you can prepare a time table and then see from where you can get some time. Make sure you can spare some time for yourself and your life.Because once gone time will never come back so make happy use of it.

I think the problem is that I can't do things faster. Everything takes time, and I just have too many things.

Hi Cute, nowadays i am spending less time in here due to my busy schedule. That's why, you can see that i seldom drop by now. Same like you, everyday seems there are lots of schedules that needs my attention. How i wish there would be more time for my to settle my daily schedules. Or perhaps there is someone who are able to help me to settle some my daily matters. But, seems no one able to helps me at this moment. Every matters still needs my attention. Still trying to schedule and settle them one by one...I will only drop by whenever i am able to online...
