How would you react if you country gets a bad name here

Lets face it. Yes, many Indians are spammers and we are known for their misdeeds. So why make a fuss of it? Accept it. And yes, I come from India and am based in India. Those who know me, know that I do not believe in Spamming anyone, anything. And my profile does say where I am stationed in India. No regrets until I commit a mistake. And if I do, I accept it.

I doubt if this would bother me unduly because I realise that it is human nature to categorise people in general instead of differentiating sensibly. There have been more extreme cases at times and I have known sites to ban specific countries for similar reasons. This is completely unjustified, but sadly we cannot do very much about it.

I think it must be difficult to be an upstanding member of a community online when many people from the same country are known for being spammers and cheats. We all know some innocent bubblers who were affected when Bubblews shut down the countries where most of their cheaters came from. There were very good bubblers in those countries, too. All we can do is be good members and expect that others will judge us all individually and not by any other criteria.

There do seem in general on pay websites to be a lot of abuse from certain countries. Maybe it's due to poverty there.

There are 1.1 or 1.2 billion people in India so inevitably some of them are going to be cheats. But there are also some of the world's finest writers, business people, scientists, craftsmen, chefs and cricketers. Try not to take it personally. People have stereotyped ideas of most nationalities but also have the sense to know that not everyone is like that. I've seen people moan Brits go on holiday, get drunk and eat sausage and chips every day and it's absolutely true some do- I'm not one of those so I don't take it personally and you're not one of the cheats, so you shouldn't either. The recent run of spamming has - apparently - come from India but could as easily have come from many other places.

If it is the truth, then I will accept it. After all, there are many bad things in my country which I don't like it, too. I just want to tell people that I am an individual. So you can't say due to one is bad in China, then all Chinese are bad. People will improve with the education. And if my people can have the rights to vote, something may be different today. So don't judge us because of the stupid behaviors of my government.

hi@allknowing I sure would not like it b ut I have heard crap about our own USA too but not here. You know i really think youi should report this when it happ ns here as we are not supposed to do that , we are not to badmouth people's countries as this is open to all of us in the world almost. maybe several countries excluded because they do not have pay pal. but we are not to be running one other's countries down at all here.

I would not care, because people tend to generalize. I have noticed several new users that were spammers and from India, this is not a reason to criticize all Indians. I am sorry if this happened.

I wouldn't take it personally if it happens. I think members of the myLot community are intelligent enough to know that one bad apple doesn't necessarily spoil the whole bunch. I don't generalize and I hope other people don't, either.
