Looks like MyLot has become MyBlock by a few new members here on the site. People come here to interact and have fun. So why do all these new members insist on blocking older member? Are we too old for you? Do we stink and you’re afraid to get some disease from us? Do you not like our Avatars? Do you not like our discussions? Is it our name or @name on the account you don’t like? Just arriving on MyLot and Blocking all the members defeats the purpose of this site. You came here to share and interact with us. So why Block us? Do you think you’re better than we are? To me it looks like the older members have more fun than the newer ones do. We don’t go around blocking everyone on the site. We come here to laugh, interact, and have some fun. So why not give it a try. Unblock all these people, sit back, have fun, and enjoy. Otherwise sit behind your computer screen and talk to yourself. You won’t get a lot of conversations from us now. We are Blocked!

Maybe we can make them hear IF WE ALL TYPE IN BLOCK CAPITALS? Um, no. That didn't work, did it. Perhaps we should just put them in a corner and let them play with their blocks like the little kids that they behave like.

@poehere The individual we are talking about has left a response and a comment, both of which display a lack of maturity. The last person to indulge in wholesale blocking and to leave very similar comments (which nobody else in the discussion could see) was finally removed on the grounds of, I believe, "Unsociable Behaviour". I'm sure that @goaskalice is aware of @pamjam and her comments by now (or will be soon) and will take appropriate action.

I am rolling on the floor right now laughing at this. But I am not sitting on the floor or in the corner playing with my blocks. Get a clue about the site. It's not about blocking but about interacting. What made me laugh so hard was this person who blocked me came here and left me a string of comments. I can't see a one of them. They are wasting their time and mine doing this one. But what makes me so hard is I got paid for their comment. Now that one is funny

@owlwings Seems a little immature to me to do this one. She finally unblocked me so I could read a few of the comments. I guess I blocked again after commenting back to her. Last night a person left a comment on a post of mine. They told me of this issue. I thought it was a bit strange. I wrote up a post. Then after time I found the person. I was also blocked for no reason at all. I had never interacted with her. She joined in my absence and did all this other stuff again in my absence. Now she is here and I have seen 3 or 4 notifications that I can't read at all. I just see her name. Now when they come through I just delete her name and move on.

It seems pointless to join a site that pays you to be social and then block everyone. I am blocked by someone but they are an older person.

Wow that one is shocking. Normally it is the younger, newer members who block now. I came back after a week absence and found myself blocked by a new member. Don't even know her at all.

I have noticed a resurrection of this habit, which to me seems quite illogical. It also comes as a surprise to see you posting about it because when I wrote a discussion on this you disapproved.

@poehere This is precisely what happened to me and what prompted my discussion. The very first time that I ever tried to add a comment to one of his discussions was when I realised I was blocked. Definitely very strange.

Not really disapproved. Just tried to say there has to be a very good reason to block a person. I think stocking, out right attacks, or harassing is a good reason to block. But just arriving on a site and never once interacting with a person is a really stupid reason to block a person. Seems like each person who has posted on here is getting blocked by a large number of new members. People we have no idea who they are. Now this is stupid.

@Asylum OK I remember this one. I misunderstood this in the beginning of your discussion. I made a comment and you corrected me on it. After I saw your point and agreed with you on this one. I remember now what you are talking about.

I don't really understand the whole blocking thing that is going on around here. I have only one person blocked due to them harassing me at one point. Other than that-I just don't get it. I like being social and interacting-that's why we are here!

@LovingMyBabies Me too. I guess from the answer that was finally unblocked for me to read states she doesn't want to be bothered by dummies and Cr**. OK but that one is great. Some people just hate to gives other a chance. So I guess we'll just leave them to play with their blocks alone. We have more fun not playing with blocks.

Do like a few people do on here now. Ask them openly in public. But this back fired too when you do it. Because they can see your post, comment, and you'll still not know your answer. When blocked you can't even read their comments. So basically you'll never know why. So sit back and enjoy. I think this person has blocked almost every member here on the site so far. I wasn't even here and she blocked me.

You more than likely are right on this one. Some people can come off as such a sweet, loving caring person until you get to know them. Then inside you see the real person. That is when you have to sit back and take a second look. I think this is what has happened to you.

People are weird basically. I have only had one person block me and I am glad he/she did.. Rude and nasty. I guess I would wonder a bit if I found that someone had blocked me but, for the most part, I don't see what the big deal is.

It isn't a big deal really. It just means that this person is an idiot. They have no clue. We can see what they say but when they leave us a comment we see nothing. We have no idea how rude they are or what they have written to us on a post. Plus they care cutting their earning to 0 because nobody can comment on one of their post now.

Then I found some answers when searching on JJ post. After found the blocker. Found I was blocked too. No clue never knew her before or ever knew of her on this site. But I am blocked for no reason. I guess it's because my posts in her words are Cr**. No other reason behind this one.

This is how I feel about this mess. They are losers and why come here in the first place. I know! It is so we have something to talk about and write about. That is fun right? No seriously it is dumb to come to a social media site and block 90 percent of the members on the site. But this is their issues so let them be. I just move past them and don't look at them.

I'll take a vote on that one. I think we should all start a poll on this. I think that poll will pass and we can all have a say so in what happens here on the site. I think this is way out of hand right now and might be the only way to stop this nonsense.

@Mike197602 Maybe this one won't if everyone agrees to it. We don't have to call it a poll. We can ask how people feel about blocking and if we should allow it to continue or remove it like suggestions.

Have you ever had a comment on a discussion you can't read.? If so you are blocked. I read another discussion about a person and went to go see who it was. I as automatically blocked from their account. I don't really care one way or the other but it seems strange they did this one. I have been away for a week and when I come back new members have arrived. Now you are blocked by them before you even get a change to say hi. Strange.
