Just not always able to get to everyone

Canada
July 8, 2016 3:43am CST
Especially on a week like this when I've got so many hours at work along with the boys who need transportation. Looking forward to the paychecks but it didn't leave me time for a whole lot else. I try to prioritize by getting all my notifications taken care of first, followed by making one discussion myself per day and then trying to respond to new discussion by people I'm following. I usually fall down on the last one. I very rarely have much time to spend exploring anything new. I'm probably going to start skipping making new discussions now and then so that I can get more people in. It doesn't making any real difference on my bank here. All activity is good activity. Looking forward to finishing the work week today.

I'm someone who doesn't really do my own discussion often. Especially when I'm busy and have very little much time to be on here, I prefer to make use of my time commenting on other's discussions.

I will likely do that when I'm feeling the squeeze timewise.

I'm hoping to make regular posts. It will give more people a chance to get to know me.

I find that a new post brings in a better chunk of pennies than just visiting for me anyways!

I mostly go first to new discussions by people I'm following. My notifications just bank up in my gmail inbox so I'm able to deal with them any old time. But I am able to spend a lot of time here so I'm lucky in that respect.

My time is pretty restricted. This tablet I have and the fact that I get stranded regularly where I get free WiFi actually helps me have significantly more time to be on the site.

@koopharper It's an ill wind... and all that. But it's good you can make use of what would otherwise be 'down time' I guess.

Considering that there are only so many hours in a day, the best money is usually a priority! I usually catch up on notifications first, then respond to what discussions I can. I don't make many new posts, but as you said, all activity is good activity.

A lot of people do just as well as I do if not better without ever making a post.

I find that I usually make a few more cents whem I start discussions as opposed to just respond. I hear you though. I tend to get buried in my notifications rather quickly. Lol

There is probably some truth to that. The consistency makes a huge difference to me. I get more responses when the expectation is that I will respond within a short timel.

Ya, It is hard to get to everyone even when you have time. I just try to remember to hit people that I have neglected every so often.

When I think of it I'll try to catch up on friends that haven't got much attention from me in awhile.

I think we all just do the best we can here and most of us understand that we have offline lives.

I'm glad most people here understand. I'd love to be able to devote more time to this and my other writing. My family and I still need to eat though.

it's about maintaining connections, even if you don't start new discussions.
