Don't Be Too Harsh. I Was Under Pressure.

The wonderful @jaboUK laid down a bit of a challenge for me yesterday to come up with some collective nouns. When the equally wonderful @ElizabethWallace waded in I realised I wasn't going to get out of it. So here goes. A crisis of middle-aged men. A flush of menopausal women. A contemplation of navels. An embarrassment of socially awkward people. A narcissism of celebrities. A moron of Donald Trumps. A pretension of pseudo-intellectuals. A nest of lawyers. A conflagration of arsonists. A denial of homophobes. An enlargement of Viagra users. A perfection of myLotters. Just thought I'd throw in that last one in a shameless attempt to be liked! I'm so needy it hurts!

He is getting too good at it ...so good that I am now stalking him even when he knows I am doing that.

@jaboUK Thank you kindly. Although I'm pretty sure you could do just as well. And probably in verse too!!

@LadyDuck I am sure that he got the homophobes wrong because the correct term is a Closet of Homophobes.

How about: A coagulation of jellyfish An inconvenience of politicians An irritation of computers A complaint of protestors

Now I did enjoy those, they weren't in my "New First Aid in English" book at school. An engorgement of Viagra users trips more readily off the tongue... Perhaps a buff of narcissists, too? Thanks for the suggestion, @JaboUk.

Engorgement did cross my mind but for some reason it just seemed too yucky and I just couldn't bring myself to type it. Oops. Just have. Never mind!!

Seriously? You don't get enough likes around here? I'm not sure I'd want to attempt that challenge no matter how many were expecting it. You could about write a book on most of those, in fact I thought, at first that you were talking about books when you mentioned navals. lol.
