While driving along yesterday a guy 'cut me up' on the way, I slammed on my brake, he'd made my heart quake, as I had the clear right of way. I blasted my horn, but oh gee, he got mad, as mad as can be, then my ears he abused and the words that he used weren't nice to a lady like me. Now that was too hard to be borne, all that 'cos I tooted my horn? then he didn't linger but gave me the 'finger', and that's why he earned all my scorn. I got home in time for my tea I could not believe what I see, as the car of that louse was parked near my house..... Oops - that car just got paint on my key. This is all true - apart from the last line Have you experienced road rage?

You blared your horns Swearing with some groans I gave you the finger 'Cos am not your teacher Days are gone by when We'll meet to be lean Opening doors of rage In a car taken for a drone.

JaboUK Road Hog
Despite the innocence you claim I suspect that you were to blame It is not your road So use the Highway Code And stop pushing in without shame To get home quicker you did strive And through the traffic did duck and dive This just causes congestion So I have one question Why are women allowed to drive?

@Asylum T'wasn't me that was doing the swearing, it was just the horn I was blaring, but he used a bad word that I shouldn't have heard, I'll admit to doing some glaring.

@jaboUK I love the responses I do indeed Except when those nutty drivers go at that speed They overtake you and close you in No wonder us driverĀ“s nerves are wearing thin All that stress they give us Cannot compare when speeding past you Their horns doth give out an outlandish blare.

Oh yes, I go through this A LOT. Everything you've heard about L.A. traffic is pretty much true. Even the road rage. I truly hate that even when the other driver clearly made the mistake, they get angry and make the "gestures" .

I have experienced it a few times, especially when I drove to school to work. In this day and age, I keep my mouth shut and my hands on the steering wheel. There are too many nuts in this world.

Yes it's best to let things wash over you, but I couldn't resist blaring my horn. In your country that could have got me shot!

@jaboUK I use my horn but typically only if someone uses their horn first. It isn't like this is the Wild West..most people here are not gonna do anything..I don't drive in dangerous areas.

I won't tell if the last line is true @jaboUK . Yeah, I've had people blasting their horns because I wasn't going 100 miles an hour and they were so close to me in the back that I could tell what color eyes the driver had. I had a lady one time drive right through a stop sign and almost hit me in the passengers door. I followed to her the next red light, jumped out of my car, ran up to her window and called her a .......You should have seen the look on her face. As I walked back to my car, the guy behind me raised his hands off the steering wheel with a look on his face that said, "I didn't do it, I'm innocent."

What do you mean by "a guy 'cut me up' "? I don't drive but I am in the car with my husband and often I see cars cut other cars off. I hate that! Wait your turn!

Well yes - he didn't literally 'cut me up'. What I meant was he overtook me when there was no room, then tried to get in between my car and the one in front, causing me to brake to avoid hitting him.

Road rage is a terrible problem! Here it leads to violent fights and even deaths. We usually try to avoid it when we go out on a drive but some people are just persistent enough to not let the matter go. That is when trouble begins.

I used to let road rage get to me, but now I do not, so when others tick me off behind the wheel, I just roll on, and when I do it to them, I just roll on. But I don't do it intentionally. Love the last line, its funny!
