Snow! Really?

I can't believe that it's snowing right now. We had a lot of rain earlier, and now we're getting snow. It's really not what I want to be seeing outside right now. It's really getting frustrating. I'll admit that I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever get a spring at this point.

I always thought it was colder and snowier there than here in Colorado. It usually snows here until Mid May, but this year has been very dry and warmer than usual (whatever usual is anymore). We are supposed to have a storm of sorts Friday.

@dodo19 So we are just behind you. Our snows usually don't start in earnest until late December, although we have usually had a couple by then.

It's rare we get snow in May. Although we do get our fair share of snow. We usually do get it between November and February/March. Although we do occasionally get it in April. Not many like having it April though.

We had some snow yesterday but nothing that "stuck". We did have gale-force winds, though.

We are having the same crazy weather it was so windy earlier but in the 40s and sunny. I went out an hour later and the wind was howling and it started to snow. It only lasted about 5 minutes though.

We had the same thing happen last night. Really strong winds through the night, but the snow only lasted a few minutes.

Yeah I know. We only got a little, thankfully. It only snowed for a few minutes. I was really hoping that we wouldn't get any. The sad thing is that there may be more snow in our forecast.

Nope it really doesn't. I'm glad that it didn't last long, but it seems like there will be more in the forecast. Ugh.

It was really windy here overnight. So strong that I was worried some of our outdoor stuff may be blown away.

Our spring has been pretty crazy so far. It gets cold, then gets hot, then rains, then gets hot, then gets cold. Mother Nature just can't make up her mind what she wants to do!

She definitely can't make up her mind. She's either having hot flashes, or is bipolar, or may be drunk. Either way, I hope she gets some help soon.

We've had years before where it about went from winter to summer, but I don't think we ever had weeks of winter weather into April. This is a bit strange and unwelcome for all of us, I'm sure. We have more snow or colder temps in store for us for the next week or so still. Although most of that will be during the night or very early morning.

The weather does seem to be the topic of conversation these days. Here is my 2 cents although at this point of the year this joke is not really so funny....It's so cold I had to open the refrigerator to heat the house.

I was in Rhode Island, United States on Monday. And in the morning it snowed hard, receiving three inches of new snow, even though it was April the 2nd! However, just three hours after it stopped snowing, there was no more snow on the ground. It all melted. Stay optimistic, Dominique. The spring will show up at some point.
