an update on my granddaughter.She try to do away with her self again
Right now she is in the institution
She was supposed to get out today.My daughter is taking her in.
The other grandmother want no part of this.
Not sure what happen today but we will see.
Very sad a 13 years old child want to do away with herself.
My daughter is going to take a lot of responsibility with her not sure how this is going to work out.Just hope for the best

That's very sad for a 13 year old wanting to end her life. What can be so bad or sad? Does she suffer from depression?

It's so difficult in the world today!! It's very hard 2 make the connections with friends and people at school!!! The pressure is immense!!! People aren't as friendly as they used 2 be!!! Very hard for kids!!! When U don't make the connections with others with very hard!

We went through this with our granddaughter Kaitlyn, last year. Those were the saddest days, for me and my daughter(Kaiti's mother). She was hospitalized, but still spoke about dying and said nobody would care. It's painful, to see a child so despondent and unhappy. I will pray for Melanie:)

that is so sad. such a beautiful child like that. you just wonder why they have so many problems these days when they have so much entertainment and people who want to help them along and all. makes me think of how we had to work for so much at a very young age and never had so many gadgets and such. must be the problem these days.

Wouldn't it be nice If we could show these children that life is worth living and that her future is bright ...maybe a crystal ball

I’m sorry to hear this. The times we are living is so tough on everyone and especially on youth. I’m glad that she is getting the help that she needs and I hope she will continue to gain a great support system to help her along the way.

No one your daughter is doing what she does. She has had a very hard life. That is so so sad that people cannot see what they do to others. I did not have a happy childhood either but I guess I did not grow up so bad. I still have baggage but I never wanted to do those things to myself. I feel so bad for your granddaughter and thank you for explaining that then I understand more of what she must be going through.

@JustBhem not sure what her real problem is.Her mother is in jail.An addict,robbery etc.
The grandmother she does not like.Not my daughter.
I have not seen here or talk with her.My daughter is taking all in.
It is just a messed up things..who do you believe.
