Hello Friends
I was just looking at youtube
and found a clip from someone
that traveled there...
I really want to go to Scotland!
I have some of mylot family to visit
and my dream will come true
if I can go to the Highlands
and maybe find where my mother's
favorite Great-Gran grew up.
Where do you long to go?

You would truly love Scotland ma! Especially if you dropped in on our lovely Morag ;0) I went up in 2006 on my own for 5 weeks, camping and driving all the way to the top, the scenery is magnificient and so many beautiful places to visit. Isles, lochs, heather, Scottish People are so friendly and warm and the food! Even in 5 weeks you can't possibly see everything there is to see. I long to go to New Zealand, that is my dream and one day I will do it, it's just the cost and the long flight that puts me off. But hey I'm still young, so there's always a strong possibility, if you put your mind to it you'll do it. Having dreams and aspirations and goals is helping me shape my future for the better. Hugs xxx

Hey wolfie - if you ever want to visit Australia, come and stay with us and I'll show you around! We live on the Gold Coast (tourist mecca of Queensland), so there's lots to see and do.
You can get to NZ easily from here - it's a beautiful country.

I would love to be able to visit another country also. I have never been outside of the United States. My husband had been to Germany and has lived in Hawaii also when he was in the Army. I have not been to many places at all. I would love to visit Scotland some time also. I bet it is nice there. I hope your dream does come true for you.

Hi Raydene. Aye, the Highlands are great. There are certain parts that remind me of Alaska. I moved to the Highlands in 2001 to be with my hubby. If you do visit Scotland, let us know. Have a look at myspace and you'll see some of my photos of Scotland there.
I long to go back to Alaska. I love it there. I really miss the mountains the wildlife and the freedom of being me.
I guess my dream place to go to would be New Zealand.

I was planning on an Ireland and Scotland trip for May but I lost my job several months ago. Sadly, that trip will have to wait. Well, unless I win the lottery soon!
I can't wait until I finally do get to go. Right now I'm planning on Sweden for June 2009.

I live in Scotland and yes it's a beautiful country. The Highlands have spectacular scenery but if you do ever come here make sure you visit Edinburgh as well, it's a lovely city - although it's my hometown so I'm maybe biased!
I've always wanted to go to India. My great-uncle grew up in India in the days of the British Raj and he used to tell me stories about it when I was a child. It sounds like such a fascinating country, I'd love to travel there. I will one day.

I was born and raised in Scotland Raydene, and at the age of 10, my mother re-married an Englishman, so moved to England. At the age of 19 I emigrated to Australia with my hubby and this is home BUT my heart still belongs to Scotland!
I have so many happy memories growing up there.
As children we used to dance behind our town's bagpipers as they marched down the street when they used to practice, and we knew each one of them as it was only a very small town.
I was there three years ago and the town still has no traffic lights!!
I've posted a photo of the High Street - and it still looks the same to this day! Great salmon and trout fishing up there!
If you ever get the chance, you should go up to the Highlands - you've never seen landscapes like it! Maybe you will be able to find where your mother's favourite Great-Gran grew up.

I would want to go back to Ireland as the scenery is beautiful. My partner was also born and bred there and still has alot of family living there. They have accepted me and my four eldest children as part of their family. So we feel very welcome there. I also want to show my youngest son where he was born. The irish people are so friendly. I can't wait to move back there.

I want to go to scotland too!
I have different reason. Scotland became the first place I want to visit after I saw the movie Braveheart. I like the beautiful scenery, friendly people(especially their skirt, hah), scotland bigpipe, old castle and purple flowers- thistle. I know it sounds a little silly, but I really crazy about it.
I hope our dream can come true!

I would love to go to the British Islands, Ireland in particular. My ancestors come from there and I would like to be able to go there and find some of the genealogy that we have gaps in. That and I would like to see the land, the castles and cities. It has so much history there and I think it would be incredible to visit it and to just absorb all that is there.
I don't think I'll be going anytime soon but it is a place I would love to visit. Hopefully sometime before I leave this world I'll get to go. It's one place I dream to visit.

I would like to go to Ireland. Alot of my family has been over there because my Aunt is married to a guy from Ireland. So there is always somewhere to stay. I know I will never be able to afford that trip, so I also always have wanted to go to cuba. Myself and my husband have never had a hunymoon.

Hi raydene! i have heard that Scotland is such a beautiful place and I have seen in it so many movies where they used it as a location setting. I had always wanted to go there too as one of the many places I wanted to see. Maybe one day, we could all have our dreams come true and I pray that they will. Just my thoughts dear friend! Take care and have a nice day!
