Well this year has been a real eye opener as far as spring goes. I've been really sick when it got into the 70's. Now it is down near freezing every night till Friday and I can not get rid of this bug. But now I woke up Saturday to an inch of snow covering my lilies. By the time I got outside to take this shot most had melted from the grass etc. This spring sucks so far. How's your spring weather? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Sorry to hear you have been feeling so yucky, Grandpa Bob. Crazy weather changes can sure cause that at times. Our Texas spring weather is pretty crazy and scary at times. We have some warm days and then a cool front will push through from the west cause thunders storms often mixed with hail. Once these storms hits the wide open plains of Texas, tornados often get stirred up accompanied by wild winds. Not a lot of fun on storm days. But other than that it is beautiful.

You are just having a bad Spring, aren't you? Well this may not make you feel any better, but just so you know, we did have nice weather too until Sat morning, but no snow, just cold, but not freezing cold.. I hope from here on out, that your Spring improves and you get warmer weather for your plants and you..

We had a few good days.. but now it's been cold again all weekend and today (monday).. hubby complains so much every spring, it's warped my perception! It does seem like we have many of the good days during the week, and then it's crappy all weekend! Yes, I heard there was snow in Minnesota! And those spring colds!! Hope yer feeling better soon!

Sorry to read that you have been sick Bob. Partly I suspect that peoples immune systems are vulnerable at the moment with the constant changing weather patterns you describe. It is very similar here. We are going from a late Summer, to mild Autumn, all of a sudden to quite cold weather (7 degrees at night). Bianca got a virus that lasted 3 weeks. In fact I still think she is "weakened" by it. Now my hubby has the virus. Both step children got it. I am the only one not to succumb.

Hi GRANDPA BOB! I thought there won't be anymore snow there in your place. We are having our Summer here in our country and it is really hot nowadays. Almost everyone here are in the beaches and pools. Reservations are all booked on resorts and my nieces and nephews are always frequenting the pool and I am the one who bring their snacks all the time. I guess, that's what aunts are for. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!

Oh my gosh how is it ?Hot and hotter. we had a unexpected hot spell this weekend with temps in the nineties and one hundred. We had to run the air conditioner all day yesterday and it was still around ninety at ten o clock last night. It is supposed to be cooler today and I for one sure hope so. It does not get hot like this usuallyuntil July or August. I am not a great one for enjoyingit quite this hot. I like it when its around seventy five or seventy six. warm enough to be in shirt sleeves but not hot enough to have the air conditioning on.

It has took a while as April for us has been the coldest one for a long time and may have been the coldest on record. But the tide is turning and the weather is warming up and maybe we might get some of that global warming for a while. Get well quickly my friend!

One of the paper carriers mentioned you guys had snow up there and thought of you immediately. Hope the flower buds aren't seriously harmed by the snow and cold. Figured if it snowed, I would hear about it here from you. lol It's still nice down here. Got in the 60's today although it was in the 70's all week. Ugh! Just saw the weather forecast for the next few days. 50's and showers. Thanks alot, my friend!

We've already tipped the temp at 90, but it was down in the 60's again last night. Actually has been a pretty mild spring here so far, but this is Texas....

Well I don't have a "bug" in me, but my oh so lovely allergies are in full swing...all that pollen count which they say is the highest in years, yet they seem to say that EVERY year..LOL. Our weather has been wacky too, no snow..thank goodness, but a few days we had near 80 degree weather, now it's plunged back to about 50 and one can feel such a difference as to feel chilly...

Canoe Landing on a Beautiful Day - Canoe landing at Lake Martin, Louisiana on a gorgeous spring day!
It's been crazy here too! We had a low in the 30's last week and this week in the 40's. Daytime temps have been anywhere from 60-89 already. It's the range that makes us all sick! I hope you get better soon! Being sick is no fun, and we miss you here!
