I had an amazing idea for a discussion...

I do that too. I've been trying to write down my ideas for when i'm at the computer but...I lose the paper i wrote them on!

Hey, you took the words right out of my mouth. I was going to post this same exact discussion today. Oh well, I can comment in yours:) The best ideas come to me when I am away from my puter. By the time I get back to it, the great idea is gone. Yesterday I went to take a shower. I had three thoughts running through my mind. I literally kept repeating them to myself until I finished and came here. And guess what? Only two of them came out from my fingers, the other one was gone.

Heck, I don't even have to take a nap to forget what I'm going to do. I just walk from one room to the next and it's gone!

I write everything down so I won't forget.If not, I would forget everything.

Well if you are very, very old I am too! lol I don't even need to have a nap to forget - they just slip right out of my brain! lol xxx

cyntrow oh yes I did that the other night. I thought of something that would be really great for a discussion but it was late so I thought I will do that tomorrow. The next morning Ihad not a clue as to what that great idea was and nothing I did jolted my memory at all. so maybe it was not all that great anyway lol

I do that all the time. Sometimes I will be sitting here responding to other discussions and I will think of a great idea and then buy the time I get to it I ahve forgotten it all together. It is very frusturating.

This use to happen to me all the time until I learned a secret...If a great one of a kind topic enters my min and i don't have time to get on mylot at the moment I just write down the topic...I have little notes to my self all over the house about poems and certain topics I have thought of..:)

Yeah this just happened to me , even though I have a low amount of posts I got a good idea for a discussion but now I forgot it, I'm still struggling to remember it!
