what part of the house do you clean first and you clean last?

I don't know if its really cleaning but, I just set aside things in their right places when it seems that things are becoming a bit untidy.. that's mostly due to my nephew's way of things, making a mess wherever he goes.. the rest would be stuff on tables that just got piled up..

So I really don't have a particular place that I clean first, I clean what seems to be needed cleaning at first sight and if I feel like cleaning

Then again, we often do clean the whole house wherein everyone is involved and we'd be doing it 'til my mom is satisfied. We'd move things, even the heavy ones, in order and clean, wipe, sweep the day through.

I think we need a bit of cleaning as of now too

I guess I feel like my house is in an ongoing state of cleaning. Where do I begin and where do I end..... it never ends. Everyday I do something and whatever doesn't get done is left for the next day.

I could answer this question easier for just my kitchen. I always start with loading my dishwasher and end with sweeping up the floors.

My cleaning tip is the Mr Clean Magic Eraser.... that thing will clean anything off of anything. It is amazing.

Our chores are divided among all the people who live here, me, my husband and our four kids, even the 2 year old pitches in from time to time.

But when I do a deep all over house cleaning I usually start in the living room or my bedroom because those are the two most cluttered rooms which I have the kids doing their rooms and the bathrooms.

My husband or oldest son clean the kitchen for the most part. They are very picky and though with it so I let them have it.

Kitchen first, always. Last would be my bedroom! It's usually neat but dusty and needs vacuuming.

kitchen to bathroom. I take a shower and I want to do the best cleaning where we make food and eat. It wouldn't make sense to clean the toilet then the refrig and kitchen sink. Between the two, I don't think I worry about the order too much.

I like to use vinegar and baking soda to clean as much as possible. The other stuff tends to be chemicals, not good for my husband, my cat or me.

I clean the kitchen first because I love seeing a clean kitchen and I've been using a new kitchen cleaner that smells really good so that puts me in a good mood. After that I clean the living room and dining room areas. Then I move on to my bedroom, saving the bathrooms, which is my least favorite job, for last.

If I am doing a full clean the house which I do every Friday after work this is how I do it. I clean my first floor first because if I have guests its what they see. I clean my kitchen first because it is the most used room in my house. Then to the play/ computer room and then the living room. Then the bathroom. Then I go to the second floor and clean the four bedrooms. If I have time I go to the basement and clean it.

Every day I straighten up the first floor. Almost always starting with the kitchen.

My Cleaning tips:

I keep a bottle of cleaner and a roll of paper towles in every bathroom, and on the bedroom floor. So I can clean up the little things through the week. I keep a trash can in every room. And there is a laundry basket on each floor. In the laundry basket I keep a small bottle of shout (the stain cleaner) and if any thing has a stain on it I spray it when it goes into the basket giving it time to set in.

I always start vacuming the living room and dining room first, then my office. Then I move on to cleaning the downstairs bathroom and then the kitchen, Last I go upstairs and vacum both bedrooms and then clean the full bathroom last. I enjoy vacuming the most because I can "zone out" and go somewhere else while I am vacuming and therefore, I find vacuming almost meditative.

I always clean the kitchen first, then the bathroom. (My mom taught me that even when you're sick, if a woman comes to visit those are the two things she looks at first.) Then I tackle the living room and hall. We don't have carpet and our hardwood floors are not sealed properly, so they get a bit dirty. The bedrooms are always last, because I can just shut the doors and wait until the next day if I have to.

With my chronic pains (fibromyalgia and arthritis), I don't clean as often as I once did. I wish I could...
