How much money are you making over at Helium? I have made...

I joined Helium, but I haven't really done much of anything yet. I'm writing for Associated Content, so what I've done is take a few articles that I already published there and putting them on Helium, as AC doesn't pay for articles that have been published elsewhere, unless you're going for page views only.

I have only three articles up and have earned a whopping $ .03 so I'm probably not the one to ask.

Been in a number of get paid to write. Really started writing my first article since Dec last year. 106 articles made about a little more than $67 at this time of post. I like this site and I like writing.

But lately I am feeling rather lazy so the number of articles could stay stagnant for awhile.

I have made some good money at Helium based on my talents. I have no tips to give rather than to ask you to write more to earn more. Take part in contests and reap the rewards. All these are ways to earn more at Helium. But I can tell that Helium created interest for me to start writing.

I'm fairly new on there, so I haven't really made anything. I'm still in the cents.

I think my number of articles is about 110 and I am just making my second $25, so only $50 all together. I've started writing and rating again now that I am close to the cash out point. I write a lot for Gather, and I tend to drop off for quite awhile and then pick it up again. I haven't written anything for the summer contest yet, although that is my goal. If I can do 1-2 articles a day and rate some, I will be happy.

What's your secret for making so much more money? You've made 2-3 times what I have. I have pretty good rankings too on my articles.

I have made about $35 with 54 articles. They seem to have made it more difficult to make money on there unless you devote a lot of time to it, but the reward isn't worth the time. You now have to write about 300 words for an article even to make a few pennies from it. The return for time invested seem to be getting much less. I wrote my 54 articles in the first few months as a member. I haven't contribute any articles in about 4 months now. Not worth the time.

The only way to make real money on that is the contests, like the one going on now. They pay you well, but you need a minimum of one star to get anything. Have you seen how difficult it is to get a star? Yes, with effort I can do it, but then, again, the time spent isn't worth it.

I just had my first Marketplace article accepted at Helium today, and payment is $20.

Last week I won $40 in one of the writing contests, and my total earnings are now nearly $80. I will get my first payment in August and I'm going to try to make enough to be paid monthly from now on.

I joined Helium earlier this year and I was not very active for the first few months, but now I am writing more, entering contests and adding articles to my list.

I was really pleased to get my article accepted today because it was written from my own research about something outside my own experience. Now I know I can do this, and do it to satisfy the publishers requirements and before a closing date, I will keep on writing for the Marketplace.

I have four rating stars and I did have one writing star but my score dropped and I lost it. I hope to get it back soon. Rating does help as my general earnings have been much better this month than they were before.

Have you visited the Helium community forum? You can find some very helpful tips and advice there. I am trying to promote my articles as this will increase earnings and I have put links to some of them in my profile page here and at other sites.

I've been there for about almost a year now and most of my earnings have been through the Reward-A-Thon as mentioned in previous posts. Right now, I made payout one time and that could be because of not really sure how to promote articles properly. I have 429 articles up at this very moment though it's going to increase and go up over 500+. Part of it could be because I to a fault probably know more in the sports and games department than other aspects. To be fair, web design is also an area I write on as well so that does count. Whatever your doing, just keep doing it and it's working out great for ya.

Pick out topics you know a lot about. Do a search and add your articles to the titles that come up. You will be surprised at how easy one topic can be a lot of different titles.

You will increase your earnings a lot if you write most of your articles for the marketplace, contests, and special earnings such as the reward-athon. The first reward-athon got me really excited and I wrote over 400 articles earning over 1400 dollars. In turn, I increased my passive income with those 400 articles dramatically. I am now making about 100 dollars a month passively. I only write there every now and again, usually when there is a contest I think I can place in, a marketplace article I would enjoy writing, or when I have a few spare moments to write for the current reward-athon.

Helium is a low earner, but if you stick with what you know you can write articles quickly and over time they can be worth it.

My Helium stats-1 year, 650+ articles (I think I am at 657), just over $2000. Currently earning between $100-150 passively each month.

I haven't done that well. I do have one market place I sold for about $20 and I'm currently in another one with an article that seems to be the "hated of the rated". I expect it to reach bottom really soon. I'll leapfrog it when hell freezes over.
