I was rummaging though the family's old pictures today, because I want to start an album on here, as I've been saying I was going to do for months.
Anyway, I found an old picture of mine from kindergarten. Doesn't seem like that long ago to me, I can still remember certain situations that happened back then. I even remember how I got the tiny scab that shows on my forehead. (My grandma hot combed my hair the night before, and she missed a little bit and got my forehead) But its been 22 long years since then (my goodness) I don't look much different today. Still the same look on my face, the same smile. Maybe a few scars now that I've been through puberty and with it, acne. I miss my hair. But this got me to thinking, how many of you still have your kindergarten photo? Did you change much? Are you willing to share before and after photos? Here's mine, share with me!

yes i still have but it is all there in our house. its with my mom. i still have or rather all of us still have our kindergarten pictures hang at our wall. and it is cool to see them still hanging there. i find it funny but of course proud that up to this moment my mom still have photos of us when we are still kiddos. and i am sure when my child is around five years old or older he will be laughing at my pictures already.

We didn't take pictures in elementary school until grade 4. So I don't have a kindergarten picture. I don't remember, or can't find, any individual pictures of myself in grade 4 or 5 or maybe even 6. I can only think of one individual picture of me from school but I'm sure there are others. But, no kindergarten. I guess I'm showing my age.

Don't feel bad, I didn't take another picture until I was in the eighth grade, and God only knows where any of those are. Be glad that you do have at least one picture from one grade, there are people out there that don't have any from school.

That's great! You have to think about those things when certain events come along, so that when your children get older they will have some pictures to look back on. Could you scan at least one of your pics for us to see? C'mon, don't leave me hanging here!!!

I have a little tiny one of me in Kindergarten. When I was in my senior year in high school my guidance counselor called me into her office and gave me all of my pictures that were in my permanent folder before the folder was thinned and archived. The pictures would have been destroyed otherwise so I keep them very close to my heart along with the memories they hold of those years.

I wish someone would have done the same with me. I know that everyone took pictures every year, whether they purchased any or not. My pictures from school, with the exception of the one that I have posted, are long gone by now. I would have loved to look back upon those.

I sure do... and I really looked... uhhh... skinny... and uhhh.. ugly... Harhar... I have one picture where they hair sprayed my bangs into oblivion. I looked like a freak. Haha... I have them all stored in a box at home. Some of them have faded already but all in all they're in pretty good condition. I'll try to find one and post it for you to see.

Hello drknlvly. Yes, I still have my kindergarten pictures. They're all kept in an album. Yes, I did change much. Before I was really skinny and I was really shy. Right now, I gained weight, I have to say Im still shy but not like before.

I have a picture taken of me when I was five years old. I remember the picture, how it was taken and where and I'm now 57 years old.
I don't remember why I cried so much but I cried a lot in those days.
I met the photographer a few years ago in the mall and he remembers his old studio but not taking the picture of me.
My brother has a huge scar on his chest since he was seven years old from a poultice my mother put there when he was having an asthma attack.
I had a scar on my knee from a wound that kept getting aggravated over and over when I was about nine years old and its still there.
War wounds, we call those.

You just reminded me of a "war wound" that I still have from kindergarten. Its two long lines that run along the inside of my left leg starting just below and ending above my knee. What happened was there used to be a wire that ran from the back of the house to the garage. I asked my grandmother what it was, and she told me that I wasn't supposed to mess with it, that was the electric line that powered the light above the garage. First mistake, telling a curious child not to touch something. So, while she wasn't paying attention, I took a kitchen chair outside to the backyard. I don't know why I wanted to touch it really, but I wanted to touch it. Our backyard wasn't level, so the chair rocked as I was standing on it. I carefully stretched to reach the wire, but before I could touch it I lost my balance and scraped the inside of my leg on the side of the chair. I was really lucky that was the only injury I got from the ordeal, it could have been a lot worse.

I even still have my class photo from kindergarten and my school yearbook. I'll dig them out later and scan them!

I remember getting my hair done twice for the school pic that I showed here. My grandmother hot combed my hair for the picture the night before, and since I knew I was getting my picture taken, I wanted to be a big girl and have my hair down for the picture. Well, that was okay with grandma, but my teacher wasn't having it!!! She took some of the school rubber bands and put the twisties in that you see in the pic. All in all it still turned out cute lol.

I was always told I was a cutie pie back then, and I haven't really changed that much. I still have that problem of being rail thin even after having two kids, but to look at my family I just haven't reached that spreading age yet. All the women in my family stay thin until like their 40's and then start to spread. I will have to be careful that I don't spread too much, I don't want to be that big lol.

I still have my kindergarten photo(s). The one that comes to mind the most easily is the one that my mom and dad took of me right before I went to my first day of school. I had my dalmation backpack on (it was bright red on the sides), and I remember being so nervous about it.
I still recall quite a bit from elementary school and even before, and my folks have all the pictures still. Honestly, I don't feel like I've changed much since then; I even still sort of have the same haircut.

I would love to see your kindergarten pics. I don't think I've changed much either, except for the hair. And oh how I miss it.

I probably do somewhere, but I am not whipping it out. I have changed a lot from that photo. I went to kindergarten in 1989, and I have changed a lot since then.

I don't personally, but my mom does. You've given me an idea. The next time I go home I'll go looking through old photos to. It would be nice to revisit my younger self.

I never went to Kindergarten, my older brother would have had to walk me to school and he was a nasty kid who liked nothing better to beat me up every chance Mom was not watching. Besides by that age, i was already reading and doing Math and spelling on the 3rd grade level.
