Something is cooking in the kitchen..What is your favorite smell coming from

Bread, for me. I love that warm, yeasty, yummy smell, and it completely fills the air. Second would probably be ginger cookies or roast potatoes. My favorite thing about the ginger cookies is that my hair smells like them after I pull them out of the oven! And that lovely, herby smell from the roast potatoes is very comforting and soothing, to me.

Coffee or bacon are in strong competition. Of course, then there are cookies, too. Hard to tell for certain. Sometimes a smell is just the right thing for your mood at the moment.

Bacon, Bacon, Bacon!!!! I love bacon from the deli at our grocery store and I use our Foreman grill to cook on. Oh I love the taste!!! The next thing would be chocolate chip cookies. When I cook a batch of rhose and the kitchen fills with that heavenlt aroma everybody comes running.....

After the dishes are washed and the sink cleaned out, counters and tables wiped down, fresh flowers on the table, with a fresh pot of coffee brewing. I love it. Fresh and homey at the same time. And if I've made bread (by hand, I don't own a bread machine) and it's baking, even better! Again, very fresh and very homey at the same time! Puts me in mind of an expensive coffeehouse, too. I love my kitchen, can you tell? Lol!

I think I would have to say a couple of things, namely onions or garlic. I really enjoy the smell of those two ingredients. I realize not everyone likes onions or garlic. But I like to add them to my recipes when I am cooking, especially on steak or pork chops. I do enjoy the smell of bacon and fresh coffee brewing. You have good taste!

I love the smell of cookies baking, whether it be chocolate chip or oatmeal. Baking causes such a delicoius and sweet smell to fill the apartment! But I also love the smell of a good pot roast...mmmm.... making me hungry!

Although I do love the scent of fresh brewed coffee, I think the scent of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies is better and maybe apple pie..nothing in my opinion can beat those smells...from the kitchen anyhow.

It would be either bread baking or chicken frying. Either one sounds so good right now and I'm not even hungry!

I love the smell of baked goods...especially bread and cookies...it always makes my mouth water and reminds me of my mom's house.

One word, Brownies! I love the smell of brownies baking. Or cupcakes. I found this vanilla scented candle at walmart that smells like you are cooking vanilla cupcakes. it makes the whole room smell so good! mmm i think i'll bake some brownies today!

Lots of things smell great coming from the kitchen. Bacon, bread baking, hamburger casserole cooking, cookies baking, anything that emits a strong smell when cooking. Okay, maybe not cooking cabbage.
