How does your partner/lover make you feel special?

I just like when my boyfriend and I take the time to hug for a few minutes. It's very relaxing and nice to focus only on each other for that little time. I think that is my favorite.

Sometimes I'll come home from a busy day and he'll have flowers in a vase for me. While I don't expect gifts, and the flowers don't last that long, the gesture is really cute. I like how he does things as a surprise for me--sometimes he'll also have dinner all ready when I get home and will force me to stay out of the kitchen so he can prepare it all for me.

i just saw that quote and i think it is true. my life just staring at me and doing nothing can make me feel special. though my wife treats me like a king. she even spa my feet and clean my toes. she is a good cook so lunch and dinner is always special. if i know she is not in a good mood to cook, i tell her we would rather eat out or order delivery. Happy 9th Anniversary to the both of you. gifts of course makes us feel special but it is still the presence, the hug and the affection that counts most that we cant buy in any store.

We're long distance right now, so we have to rely solely on email and telephone for our communication. There's no physical contact at this time, but I feel just as loved now as I would if he were here with me.

He's wonderful with words and not only telling me he loves me, but in the way he tells me, always leaves me feeling special and like I'm the most important person in his world.

One of the things he's been doing lately is calling me in the middle of the night, just to say goodnight. We're on different coasts, so I always go to bed earlier than he does. I have come to depend on the 2am phone calls and hearing his voice before I fall asleep.

My boyfriend always have to cuddle each other at night. But it has been so hot to do that lately. Last night was the first night in a while that we could cuddle again it was so nice. He always says that I am pretty. He always opens my car door for me and the door to resturants. It is very different from my ex husband he never did stuff like that for me. It feels so good to be wanted. I love being in love!

For me it's the simple things my hubby does every morning like clockwork he always brings me a cup coffee I have never been with anyone that ever did anythinhg like that before. he also knows when ever Im stressed out or Im having a bad day as soon as he gets home he tries and helps with the kids and the house he is truly special to me.

my husband is not a lot with words but he shows it through service. he supports me with everything i want to do.:)

he keeps in touch with me even if he's too busy, he cares alot for me, he always tell me his schedule so i wont be worry, he always remind me to take my medicine if im sick, he always drop a goodnight message before he sleeps etc.. hehehe.. thanks hun for making me feel so special..

I'm not sure there is enough space to list what he does that makes me feel special. I love when he spoons in the middle of the night, just to feel him there next to me. He also emails or calls me several times a day, just to see how my day is going. He has always called me (we've been together 3 years) to tell me he was headed home from work and would see me soon. He he forever bringing me little gifts, flowers, potted plant (he knows I love having plants around) things as simple as my flavored coffeemate, he hates the flavored ones lol. But all those little things just shows me that he's thinking about me when we are apart even if it's just when he is running to the store. I was put on medical leave 2 months ago, injury at work, I was going to go right on working but my chief told me he was putting me on leave. And my s/o knows how crazy it is making me not being able to work......and he teases me about going back to work, or when or if I ever will LOL but it's all done in a fun way, never has he teased me in a mean way. I work seasonal, wildland firefighter, so that's why the comment as to 'ever will' meaning this season. We work til mid-November. And he is really thoughtful at Christmas, this past Christmas he gave me a DSLR camera and high def printer.....to upgrade my scrapbooking! lol But it wasn't the gifts as much as what he said, appears that at sometime over the past 3 years I mentioned how I loved photography (I did it for 3 years, developing my own film and pics) and he remembered that! See men do listen......cause I don't even remember talking about that! LOL

There is a lot that could do it for me, but never happens. I don't know if I need to send up smoke signals or what! So soak it up, and maybe pass some my way. LOL Have a great day!

Well, good for you!! After all this time together you guys still have the fire lit. I should hope to attain this in my future. Actually, if I woke up and felt my partner staring at me, it might irritate me. If he gets all touchy, feely I have to stop him and tell him to stop harrassing me. (Could be personal issues) But, actually, if he didn't touch me I would feel as though he didn't love me. It makes me feel good when my partner compliments me. But, moreso, I think it's an internal feeling that I get when I just feel, inside of me, that someone is really attracted to me. This makes me feel really good about the relationship. It also is a turn on when my partner helps me out of a bind, or carries my bags for me .. things like that. It shows that he's thinking about me.
