2. ishralene09 (1106) | 3 months ago | Hmm...surprise him? A little surprise would do. If he's really tired then...Nah, I'm not good when it comes to moods but cheesy ones like aromatherapy candles and dinner combined might work...talk to him in a very passionate way? Haha, or give him a massage or something, to loosen up the tension. Sometimes cheesy aproaches are, well cheesy, but sometimes they do deliver good results.

3. katsmeow1213 (1814) | 3 months ago | You need to let him relax and unwind without nagging him to go out somewhere. He spends all week being out, and just wants to be in his house relaxing. To get your fill of going out, you should do so with your girlfriends while he is at work. That way once he gets home, you will want to do nothing but relax and watch TV as well.

katsmeow1213 (1814) | 3 months ago | If you really want to do dates, ask him in advance if he will take you out somewhere on one of his days off. That way he will know in advance instead of assuming he can relax, only to find you want to go out.

4. Remembering1996 (1498) | 3 months ago | I can understand how you feel but after a long day at work I know I don't want to come home and want to run right back out again I want to sit and rlax. Maybe afer a few hours then I wouldn't mind it but an hour after I got home no I wouldn't. Let your husband come home wind down a little maybe get a shower in relax a little then try asking him if he wants to go out. I know I would just be glad he was home with me maybe you can just sit down together and watch a movie or something play some cards or talk with a couplpe of drinks and just relax. I do hope he does decied to change his mind for you and go out but if not then try the other things I mentioned I wish you the best of luck and have fun in what ever you two do together.

7. sedel1027 (11908) | 3 months ago | If you are home, make sure he has a cold drink and dinner is well on its way to hitting the table. His fave desert or alcoholic beverage will go a long way. My husband actually likes to go places after he gets off of work. When we have the money we do go out to eat almost as soon as he gets home.

sedel1027 (11908) | 3 months ago | Wow that must be tough. My ex and I lived with another couple for awhile while waiting for his spousal military benefits kicked in so we could afford the place. It was really hard. I always felt like we were in the way even though we - or at least I - was more than welcome to stay there as long as we wanted.

sedel1027 (11908) | 3 months ago | LOL I had a feeling. There was just something in your m=post that rang military wife to me. My current husband is ex Army and almost went into the Corps last year. They messed up his paperwork and stopped calling, only to call back 2 months later and say that they were sorry that the was lost in the shuffle and he could leave whenever. At that point he had a new car and was making $60K a year - I think not. I am so glad he didn't though. I didn't like the fact that they couldn't say that he could send money home to me to help cover the rent and for basic and combat training he would be gone for so long. The upside would be that we wouldn't be so screwed right now since he lost his job. We have a good friend who has been in the corps for about a year and he is so miserable. He like military life, but doesn't like the people round him (apparently where he is station they have a huge drug and under aged drinking problem).

alori61 (232) | 3 months ago | LOL you two are too cute! But if this is your routine uh you must not have young uns running around. But you know I would make it a habit of coming home crumpy if I thought I was going to be greated like that.:)

danishcanadian (14726) | 3 months ago | Actually I am the youngest person in my husband's family!! tehehehehe I'm the "younger woman." He's been married before, and I'm younger than the kids. LOL LOL LOL No, we have our own apartment, and only the dog and cat to intrude (which they do, at times). LOL Thanks for making me laugh.

pixiedustforyou2008 (1018) | 3 months ago | I guess that i should start doing that more often again.. I use to give him a massage every weekend when he would come down and see me when we lived two hours away from each other but no i don't do it as often as i use to before we got married... So i guess i shoud start doing that again..
