Here are some of the things I had picked from my Minnesota garden Sunday afternoon. About 30 Grape Tomatoes, one Zuchinni, 9 tomatoes including, patio variety, beefsteak, early boy and early girl varieties, and a bunch of pole green beans. I also picked a few more cucumbers as well as pickiling cucumbers. Another reat days worth of treats for snacks etc. How's your garden growing?

My garden consists of a volunteer pumpkin plant. It has quite a few blooms on it and on lonely pumpkin is growing. I have noticed that bees have been buzzing around in the blooms though. Hopefully, I'll have a few more pumpkins growing.
You have a really nice bunch of veggies there, Grandpa Bob!!

Thanks so much. I work hard at it daily.

Wow what a delicious looking picture and now I'm feeling hungry. In fact I haven't a garden as such but I have been inspired recently from some of your pics and a neighbour made up a small greenhouse for me and inside at the moment we have some tomatoes, sweetcorn, pumpkins and some lobelia all beginning to take well. The toms are still green but plentyful oh and some peppers too. The pumpkins and sweetcorn will need moving and replanting distances away from each other within the next week but my son choose as sweetcorn his favourite. he lobelia I am going to put on the back steep banking at the end of the yard to pretty it up and some roses are beginning to come through at the back too. I don't have a garden (no time/energy for one), but it sounds like yours is doing quite well.

I picked a half of gallon size zip lock bag of green beans today from by bush beans. I gave them to a friend for her birthday. She sure did appreciate them.
I do love growing green beans.

My one surviving tomato plant has three tomatoes starting so I'm almost successful!
What do you do with all that produce? Do you can it, freeze it, dry it or eat all of it?

Hi Grandpa Bob my garden is just a bunch of disgusting weeds
and how I wish my son had just hoed it up for me so I could
plant something worthwhile in it. Now hes lost his job so allhe can do now is job hunt, which is worrying me no end as he is our only breadwinner. well I know he will soon find a job but
wish it would happen sooner. lol.

Did you ever ask/tell him you wanted a garden really badly?
Good luck with his job search as well.

What a harvest you've done. You really inspire me grandpa. When I started joining your discussions, I said to myself that I want to have a vegetable garden. I started it a few weeks ago and due to some heavy rains here I wasn't able to continue. LOL. Anyway, I will be sharing it with you when it is done. HUGZ!
